Cliffton Wayne Ussery, of Wewoka, Okla. died Friday, July 4, 2014.
He was born on March 13, 1970 in Ceres, Calif. to Edgar Lonnie Ussery and Sophronia Marie (McDaniel) Ussery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleo and Mary McDaniel, Edgar and Natalie Ussery; his father, Lonnie Ussery; and brother Roman Ussery.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Ussery of Wewoka; two brothers, Lonnie Ussery of Wewoka, and Edgar Ussery of Wewoka; daughter, Laney McKenney; and sons, Tristan Houston of Holdenville, and Chandler Chavez of Holdenville.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Hudson Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Holdenville, Okla. Edgar Ussery Jr will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Hudson Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.
Carol Walker
Carol Sue (Jackson) Walker, 68, longtime Seminole county resident, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at her home.
She was born Sept. 14, 1945 in Tahlequah, Okla. to Willie and Ella Mae (Jackson) Lena.
She married Dean Walker on July 7, 1980 in Wewoka, Okla.
She worked for the Department of Human Services in Wewoka for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Dean, of the home; two sons, Keith Ricketts of Seminole, Okla. and Jerry "Judge" Ricketts of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Lisa Landers of Tecumseh, Okla., Carrie "Puddie" Ricketts of Konawa, Okla. and Kimberly Richardson of Seminole, Okla.; three brothers, Saber Jackson of Tulsa, Okla., Dale Jackson of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Sonny Price of Seminole, Okla.; one sister, Elwanda Hollaway of San Antonio, Tex.; thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gene Jackson and Andrew Jackson; and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Patterson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Okla. with burial following at Vamoosa Cemetery.
A wake service is scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Okla. Derrick Phillips will officiate.
Pallbearers are Scotty Rich, Kevin Rich, Brandon Ricketts, Zachery Williams, Dustin Phillips and Lane Ricketts.
Honorary pallbearers are Jarrod Ricketts, Matthew Pinson, Hunter Brazell and Preston Brazell, Jerrod Keith Ricketts II.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Sukey Walters
Sukey Walters, 42 of Tulsa passed away on October 13, 2014.
Sukey was born on September 5, 1972 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Salomon Walters and Lizzie (Proctor) Walters.
She was baptized in the Trenton Church in Dustin, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her father, Salomon Walters, twin sister Sabena Walters.
She is survived by her mother Liz Haynes and husband Harold of Holdenville, son Marlow Brown of Tulsa, sister Carolyn Tiger of Ada, grandmother Lena Proctor of Dustin, grandfather Charlie Proctor of Dustin, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Faith Baptist Church of Dustin.
Funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church in Dustin.
Pastor O’Dell Hardeman will officiate and be assisted by Mitchell Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Alex Proctor, Josiah Proctor, Kyle Holden, Bruce Proctor, Charles Proctor Jr., Eric McKee.
Interment will follow at the Pigeon Family Cemetery in Dustin.

Karen Lee (Cross) Warner, 37, resident of Oklahoma City and a former resident of Maud, Okla., died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Okla. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.

She was born Feb. 19, 1977 in Caldwell, Kans. to Terry F. (Willhite) Cross and Jerry Cross.
She was Valedictorian for Maud High School in 1984.
She received an Associate’s degree from Southwestern College at Weatherford, Okla.
She received her private pilot license, and was a department manager for Dillard’s Department Store in Shawnee, Okla.
She is survived by her mother, Terry F. Drainer of Konawa, Okla; father, Jerry Cross of Tecumseh, Okla.; one son, Benjamin Lee Cross of Moore Okla.; one daughter, Trinity Lee Cross of Oklahoma City; and one sister, Deborah Needham of Mansfield, Tex.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Dorothy Washington
Dorothy Parker Washington passed away on Dec. 10, 2014.
She was born on Oct. 5th, 1929.

Jean Watson
Nora Jean (Spicer) Watson departed this life on Aug. 3, 2014 at the age of 68.
She was born Dec. 31, 1945 at St. Louis, Okla. to George Garland Spicer and Ester Jewel (Ogle) Spicer.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Marcia Watson, Jay and Amie Watson, Donald Watson and Jennifer; seven grandchildren, Ty, Shaylea, Montana, Gavin, Barrett, Autumn, and Aydan Watson; brothers, Jerone Spicer, Veldon and Sharon Spicer; and sisters, Delores and Tony Kowalski, Alice Martindale, Linda and Leon Steffen, and Patsy and Gary Strayhorn.
Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Claudetta Cobb; three half-brothers, George, Garland and Jim Spicer; two half-sisters, Evelyn Butler and Pauline Ryan.
A memorial service will be held Aug. 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery at St. Louis, Okla.
Alice Watters
Alice May Watters of Sasakwa, Okla. passed away Thursday, May 1st, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the age of 74 years.
Alice was born Feb. 14th, 1940 in Ada, Okla. to Arville Chester and Esther Owens Rodden.
Alice attended Vamoosa Schools.
Alice married V.L. Watters Jan. 11, 1958 in Ada, and later worked as a seamstress before becoming a Beautician for over 35 years.
She was a long time member of the Sasakwa Church of Christ.
Alice was a Master Crafter, and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Alice is preceded in death by her father, Arville Chester Rodden; her mother, Esther Owens Rodden Williams; sister, Jean Jackman; and great grandchild, Scotland Bible.
Survivors include her husband, V.L. Watters of the home; son, Jeff and wife Sophia Watters of Sasakwa; daughters, Shelly and husband Gary Bible of Sasakwa, and Jeri House of Sasakwa; grandchildren, Heather Clifford and husband Justin, Holly Goodson and husband John, Byron Bible and wife Racheal, Tiffany Davis and Jessie, Charity Childs and husband Justin, Hali Calvert and husband, and Paige Lyon and husband Alex; great grandchildren, Presley Kirkwood, Ivy Bible, Felicity Davis, Faith Davis, Emma Roberson, Madalen Clifford, Remington Clifford, Rush Black, Rylan Black, Roper Goodson, Rance Goodson, Lane Childs, Tuff Childs, A.J. Dooley, Kash Calvert, and Bryor Bible; sisters, Madge Anders, and Deborah Hayes.
Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Monday May 5, 2014 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Virgil Romine officiating and burial to follow at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Mary Watts
Mary Ellen (Gallagher) Watts went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2014.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1928 to Daniel and Nannie (Robinson) Gallagher in Konawa, Okla.
She graduated from Konawa High School and later attended Wright Business School majoring in Bookkeeping.
Mary worked in the Stockyards as a head teller for many years. Later she worked at the Gold Dome in Oklahoma City and at the Oklahoma State Bank in Konawa.
She worked for Watts Funeral Home in Konawa and was co-owner with Vic Watts of Yarbrough Egg Sales in Oklahoma City.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1311 in Wewoka and the Garden Club.
She enjoyed teaching Sunday School to the Senior Adult Ladies and the youth girls for several years at First Baptist Church of Wewoka. She also assisted teaching at Vacation Bible School and sang in the choir at church.
Mary also attended First Baptist Church in Konawa, Wetumka, Kelham Ave in Oklahoma City.
She loved to paint and took lessons from Gene Stewart.
She also enjoyed going fishing in her free time.
Preceding Mary in death are her parents and her husband Victor Watts (2003).
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Watts Barkhimer of Oklahoma City and Patricia Diane Burleson of Oklahoma City; grandchild, Gregory Victor Duggan; great-grandchildren, Tristan Duggan and Sierra Abbey Duggan all of Oklahoma City; step-grandchildren, Angie Turner, Keith Barkhimer, Gina Deighton, and Terri Whitten; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and 3 step great- great- grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole. Russell Vicars will officiate. Interment will follow at the Konawa Cemetery in Konawa.
Pallbearers will be Jim Watts, Wayne Watts, Roma Sneed, Ricky Turner, Greg Duggan, and Mike Black.
Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
