Lois Faye Whittaker, 68, Shawnee, Oklahoma resident, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Shawnee Hospital in Shawnee, Okla.
She was born March 8, 1946 in Tecumseh, Okla. to Archild and Mable Lee (Whittaker) Webber.
Lois moved to Shawnee from Boley, Okla. in March of 1994.
She was an active member of the Galilee Temple of Praise and Deliverance in Seminole.
Lois was a homemaker.
Lois never knew her family, but was loved by the Depp family, the Shaw family and the Crawford families, who cared for her greatly.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, east of Seminole.

Charles Wilker
Charles Francis Wilker, former Seminole resident passed away, Monday, June 16, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the age of 65.
Charles was born July 7, 1949, in Seminole, Okla. to parents Robert Alvin and Sally Mae (Lively) Wilker.
He graduated from Ada High School in 1967 and received a Bachelors’ Degree from East Central University of Ada, Okla.
He also served in the United States Navy.
Charles was an oil field pumper and worked for the city of Enid in Waste Water Management.
Charles was known as a man’s man who loved to ride motor cycles, drive nice cars and raise Irish Setters, Doberman Pinschers, and Rottweilers.
He was a family man who took great care of his mother and other family members.
Charles is survived by nieces; Robin Martinez of Krum, Tex., Karen Jones of Seminole, Okla., nephews; Rob Hawkins of Garland, Tex., Gerald Hubbard of Chicago and several cousins and other relatives.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sally Wilker, and two sisters; Bobbi Hubbard and Patsy Hawkins.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors presented by the United States Navy.
Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Gary Willbanks
Gary Lawrence (Memory Maker) Willbanks, 67, of Aquilla, Tex., passed away on Jan. 8, 2014 in McGregor, Tex.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Rev. Ken Steffen and Rev. Jeff Stinson, officiating Interment followed at Old Lebanon Cemetery, near Aquilla, with the West VFW Post # 4819 Honor Guard, providing military honors.
Gary was born in Denver, Colo., on March 3, 1946.
He was a truck driver for 45 years and the owner and operator of Willbanks Trucking for 20 of those years. During those years, he averaged more than a million miles per year in his truck and had no chargeable accidents during his career.
In October of 1963, he enlisted in the military with Armando Garcia of Cortez, Colo., and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict with the 82nd Airborne patrol, the 101st Airborne and 1st Cavalry Infantry sniper school.
During his service in the military, he received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, National Defense Medal -Vietnam Campaign, the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Bronze Star, U.S. Army Reserve Good Conduct medal and sniper badge.
He was a member of the 157 American Legion, Field Artillery Division, Battery B, of Cortez, Colo., and the Disabled American Veterans.
During the last three years, Gary called Latham Springs Camp and Retreat Center his home. At Latham Springs, he connected with the great staff and enjoyed every moment of his work at the camp.
Gary was a child at heart who lived to make memories and have fun.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Aquilla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon and Alice Willbanks.
He is survived by his children, Shawn Bartley and wife, Libby, Eddy Harris, Clint Willbanks and wife, Amy, Tamie Samford and husband, Joe, Amy Moes and husband, T.J.; grandchildren, Kelly Juntunen and husband, Kyle, Tori Brown and husband Micheal, Michael Willbanks and wife Stephanie, Joshua Willbanks and wife, Crystal, Kassidee Willbanks, Brazos Willbanks, Nicholas Harris, Alex Harris, Ally Moes, Kate Moes and Grace Bartley; great-grandchildren, Raelynn Willbanks and Logan Juntunen; brothers, Randy Willbanks and wife, Caroline and Earl Willbanks; special nephew whom he considred his son, Byron Patzke and wife Dana; several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Atlas Williams
Funeral services for Atlas Wraith Phoenix Williams will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Quasada Ranch near Bearden.
He was born April 3, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Nathan and Miley (Wind) Williams.
He died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Oklahoma City.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Joyce Whisnant, Zelma Wind and Jesse Wind.
Survivors include his parents, Nathan and Miley Williams of Bearden; three brothers, Jayce, River and Phierce Williams of the home; grandmother, Sandra Whisnant of Cromwell; grandparents, and great grandparents.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Okemah and officiated by David Walcott.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Williams and Bugsy Wind.
Honorary bearers will be Jayce, River and Phierce Williams and Chey Wind.
Danny Williams
Danny Alson Williams died at his home in Wewoka on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at the age of 53.
He was born Oct. 30, 1960 in Lodi, Calif. to Bevan and Wanda (Beason) Williams.
He worked for the family business, Williams Ranch, a grape vineyard and supplier for the Gallo Winery.
He moved to Oklahoma in 1993, to the Wewoka/Holdenville area and worked assembling pontoons for Blue Wave Boats in Seminole.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bevan and Wanda Williams.
He is survived by three brothers and one sister: Beven William Jr. of Klamath Falls, Ore., Alan Williams of Wewoka, Curt Williams of Modesto, Calif., and Kimberly Rutherford of Sonora, Calif.; and his stepfather, Kenneth Burkhead of Holdenville.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the House of Prayer in Wewoka, with Rev. Johnny Chesser officiating.

Gene Williams
Services for Gene L. Williams, 67, of Whitehouse, Tex., are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 in Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Ward officiating.
Mr. Williams passed away in Tyler, Tex. on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014.
He was born on July 25, 1946 in Wewoka, Okla. to Billy and Marjorie Autry Williams.
Gene graduated from Butner High School in Cromwell, Okla. and then served in the National Guard.
He worked for G.E. and retired from Trane after 35 years.
He loved sports; especially baseball and basketball.
He enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing and loved being outdoors. He coached baseball, T-ball, and softball for kids and grandkids.
Gene was a man of his word, always put his family first and was dedicated to his job.
Gene is survived by his wife, Shirley Williams of Whitehouse; daughter, Melissa Hales and her husband, Jarvis of Rover, Ark.; son, Bryan Williams and his wife Jennifer of Troup; brother, Billy Wayne Williams of Wewoka; niece, Krista Clark of Seminole, Okla.; grandchildren, Dale and Kelsy Hales of Arkansas; Taylor Williams Mims, Mystery Williams and Jade Williams, Ellie Williams, and Jarad Garza of the Smith County area, and two great-grandchildren, Braxton and Jaxson Goodwin of Arkansas.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tommie Coy Williams; and grandson, Matthew Hales.
A visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at the funeral home.
Patricia Williams
Patricia June (Taber) Williams, 82, Bowlegs resident died Thursday, March 10, 2014 at her home in Bowlegs.
She was born June 16, 1931 in Bristow, Okla. to Homer Calvin and Babe Francis (Friend) Taber.
After graduating from Bowlegs High School, she married Howard Williams on June 2, 1950 in Bowlegs.
She worked for 20 years at what was Blue Bell and later became Wrangler.
She is survived by her husband, Howard of the home; one son, Rick Williams of Wewoka; one daughter, Neva Vanaria of Bowlegs; one sister, Cleon Huff of Plano, Tex.; and seven grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Babe Taber; and two brothers, Richard Taber and Marvin Taber.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.

Tiffany Williams
Tiffany Carol Williams, age 17, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 in Tulsa, Okla.
She was born July 30, 1996 in Tulsa, Okla.
She is survived by her father, Earnie Williams of Oakhurst, Okla.; mother, Becky Wise of Tulsa, Okla.; sisters, Elena Wise of Tulsa, Victoria Williams of Summit, Ark.; Kayla Ebert of Tulsa, Ruby Cheatwood, Ashley Christian and Jessica Strianese; brother, Curtis Ebert of Oakhurst; grandparents, Carol and Pete Yaeger of Wewoka, Okla., Lawrence Eugene Wise of Oakhurst, Okla. and Earnie Williams of Oakhurst, Okla.; and great grandmother, Bertha Wise of Oakhurst, Okla.
She was a server at a fast food restaurant.
She enjoyed playing computer games and going to the lake. She also loved cats.
She dearly loved doing makeup and painting her nails.
She loved people, especially children and was very much loved.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Mark Griffith Memorial Home Westwood Chapel in Tulsa, Okla.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Vonda Williams
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Vonda Denise Williams are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday Feb. 7, 2014 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Washington officiating and burial at Westwood Cemetery.
She was born July 30, 1962 in Oklahoma City to Iverson Nichols and Kittie Mae Williams.
She died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at her home in Wewoka.
She was a graduate of South East High School and later attended Seminole Junior College.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and sister, Kathy Williams.
Survivors include children, Tyre McFadden, Marcus McFadden, Kelly Williams, Frieda Williams, and Freisha Williams all of Wewoka; twelve grandchildren; and one brother, Bobby Ray Nichols of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Pall Bearers will be Tyre McFadden, Marcus McFadden, Kelly Williams, Bobby Nichols, Rocky Gentry, and Ben Williams.
Honorary Bearers will be Melvin Gray Jr., Henry Weaver, Sammy Williams, and Maurice King.
Flower bearers are Teresa Daniel, Peggy Jones, and Anita Jo Shaw.
