Richard Edwin Wrangle was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Bartlesville, Okla., to Edwin S. and Virginia Vensel Wrangle, and died April 7, 2014 at his home.
He graduated from Wewoka High School in 1951, Southern Methodist University in Dallas (1955), and Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville (1958).
He married Shirley McRae in 1956.
In l958 he joined the Army and received a medical discharge in 1959.
He returned to Seattle in 1963 and became a peace activist with Clergy and Lay Against the War in Vietnam, and the American Friends Service Committee.
He married Cheryl in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his sister, Judy Morris of Canton, Tex.; and three stepchildren, Randy Horton (Patty) of Los Gatos, Calif., Jeffrey Horton of Nelson, B.C., and Suzanne Mathieu of Redding, Calif.
Memorial gifts can be made to his beloved nonprofit, Confluence Gallery in Twisp.
There will be a memorial celebration on May 31 at 5 p.m.
Lewis Yahola Sr.
Lewis Yahola Sr. of Seminole, departed this life Tuesday, Nov 18th, 2014 in Seminole, Okla. at the age of 62 years.
Lewis was born in Yearger, Okla. to the late Alex Yahola and Minnie (Lowe) Yahola.
Lewis worked for Wrangler Company as an auditor for fifteen years.
He was of the Creek tribe and a member of the Alabama Band and Pecan Grove Methodist Church, Holdenville.
He married Hepsey Morgan in 1992 in Holdenville, Okla.
Preceding Lewis in death are his parents, brothers and sisters Sammy, Amos, William, Kyle, Annie, Dixie, Linda, and Micah.
Survivors include his wife of the home Hepsey Morgan Yahola, children Lewis Yahola Jr., of Muskogee, Okla., Anna Turner of Ardmore, Okla., Amy Morgan McCraney of Wewoka, Nupsey Yahola, Adam Yahola, Jason Yahola, Johanna Yahola Muniz and Brieanna Yahola all of Seminole, Okla.: thirty grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and grandchildren.
Wake service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel.
Wake service will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20th, 2014 at Pecan Grove Methodist Church, Holdenville.
The body will be taken to the Church at 4:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at Pecan Grove Methodist Church, Holdenville, with Rev. Houston Tiger officiating. Burial will be at Yeager Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Jamie Powell, Bryan Powell, James Motley, Jeff Powell, Steve Tiger, and Thomas Harjo.

Don Yancey
Oct. 14, 1936 – Feb. 2, 2014
Don Ray Yancey, 77 year old, long time Seminole resident passed from this life Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 in Porum, Okla.
He was born Oct. 14, 1936 in Seminole to parents Richard Alonzo Yancey and Lillie Mae (Ross) Yancey.
He had recently moved to Porum, Okla. this past summer to stay with his youngest daughter and that’s where he resided until his death.
Don attended Seminole Public Schools.
As a young man he served in the United States Army and was a member of the 82nd Airborne Army Paratroopers for three years.
Don married Neoma Kathryn Phillips on April 12, 1957. They had three children together.
Neoma preceded Don in death on Sept. 1, 1960.
A couple of years later he met the love of his life Glenda "Jolene" (Hendricks) Yancey. Don and Jolene (and children) were married on Nov. 13, 1969 in Ada, Okla.
To this union four additional children were born.
Jolene Yancey preceded Don in death on Jan. 16, 2006.
Two infant sons Joseph and Cliffy Yancey and Don’s parents Richard and Lilly Yancey, two brothers and two sisters also preceded Don in death.
Don was of the Baptist faith. He loved to spend time reading his bible and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family.
Don had spent over 30 years in the oilfield. He enjoyed his work and was excited to talk about it.
After his retirement in 2002 he certainly missed his work.
Don is survived by three daughters, Brenda Trammell and her husband Darrell of Porum, Okla., Sharon Johnson of Haughton, La., Donna Thompson and her husband Ronald of Holdenville, Okla.; also a very special young lady, Sydney Yancey, whom was just like a daughter and whom he helped raise and was his sunshine; two sons, Phillip Yancey of Atlanta, Ga. and Kevin Yancey of Oklahoma City, Okla.; along with three brothers, Carl Yancey and his wife Winnie of Seminole and Clint Yancey and his wife Linda of Seminole and Bobby Yancey of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Mary Allen and her husband Wayne of Wewoka. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other family and dear friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Carolyn Hopper officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole.
Casket Bearers will be Michael Lane, Roy Slawson, Kevin Yancey, Gabe Lowe, Phillip Yancey and Gary Yancey.
Honorary Bearers will be Darrell Trammell, Ronald Thompson, Clint Yancey and Chad Smith.

James Yarbrough
James Allen Yarbrough, 78, Seminole, Okla. resident died July 15, 2014 at his home in Seminole.
He was born Nov. 21, 1935 in Wewoka, Okla. to Albert Yarbrough and Betsy (Lena) Yarbrough.
He attended Sapulpa Boarding School and Echee Boarding School in Wyandotte, Okla. He went on to further his education at Haskell Indian School in Lawrence, Kans. where he graduated in 1956.
He then spent two years in the United States Army in the 35th Division out of Lawrence, Kans.
He worked as a welding supervisor and fitter for 25 years in Tulsa, Okla.
He is survived by his companion, Christine Hotulke of the home; children, Michael Yarbrough of Okemah, Okla., Regina Yarbrough of Oklahoma City, Okla., Laura Faye Wilson of Ada, Okla., James Yarbrough Jr. of Shawnee, Okla., Tina Yarbrough of Texas, Sharon Thomas of Seminole, Okla., Tracy Burkhart of Seminole, Okla. and Eunice Harjo of Seminole, Okla.; one sister, Kathryn Gibson of Konawa, Okla., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Betsy Yarbrough; three brothers; and one sister.
A wake service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Ed George officiating the service. Interment will follow at West Cemetery near Wolf, Okla.
Casket bearers will be Waylon Burkhart, Raymond Hall, Woodrow West, Glen Gibson, Scotty Gibson and Alvin Bahewing.

A Wake Service for Stormy Siah Yargee, 18, of Ada, are 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the High Springs Indian Baptist Church in Konawa.
A wake service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Montesoma Baptist Church and funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Montesoma Baptist Church near Okemah.
Mr. Yargee died Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 in Ada.
He was born August 2, 1996 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Tony Ray Yargee and Lou Alice Panoske.
He was a student at Ada High School and worked at McDonald’s Restaurant.
Survivors include his mother, Lou Panoske, of the home; his father, Tony Yargee of Okemah; a sister, Whitney Yargee, Shawnee; four brothers, Micah Panoske, Nicco Yargee, Tustenuggee Yargee and Fuscvtv Yargee, all of Ada; his grandparents, Ed and Sharon Mouss of Henryetta, Samuel Whitlow of Dustin, Mary Panoske of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mary Harjo of Holdenville; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Pauline Panoske, June Panoske and Gladys Mouss; and two uncles, Curtis Panoske and Richy Harjo.
Ralph York
Ralph E. York, 84, Seminole, Okla. resident died Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was born Nov. 6, 1929 in Maud, Okla. to Virgil Clarence York and Beulah May (Hale) York.
He attended Maud Public Schools before serving in the United States Army. While in the Army he earned commendations as a Sharpshooter (Rifle (M-14).
When he returned to Seminole he managed Consumer Gas Station in Seminole. Then later he owned and operated Seminole Taxi Cab Service from the late 1960’s to the 1970’s. He then retired as Street Superintendent for the City of Seminole.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Faye (Blevins) Gentry Davis York of the home; eight sons, Michael York of Tahlequah, Okla., Clarence York of Stillwell, Okla., John David Cookie Nelson Padilla of Shawnee, Okla., Thomas York of Texas, William Gentry of Texas, Phillip Gentry of Texas, George Gentry of Texas, Samuel Gentry of Texas; three daughters, Dalinda "Sam" Waltman of Tahlequah, Okla., Judy Harrington of Maud, Okla., Tina York of Las Vegas, Nev.; 31 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother who raised him, Myrtle York; two sons, Ralph Edward York and Marvin Ronald York, one step-son, Mark Davis, one brother, Tom York and two sisters, Ellen Tunnel and Opal Loudermilk.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at the Little Cemetery Chapel located in Little Cemetery. Tony Chesser will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.

Gertrude Fryhoyer
Gertrude Delores Fryhover died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 74.
She was born June 6, 1934 in Arkansas, to Katherine Patton.
She was a member of the Seminole Holiness Church and a foster mother to many children.
She married Benjamin "Curley" Fryhover.
She is survived by her son, Carlos Fryhover, of Pauls Valley; daughter, Judith Delores Burns, of Bowlegs; one sister, Frances Armbruest, of Wichita, Kan.; and four grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Fryhover and by her daughter, Debra Fryhover.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at 3 p.m., at the Seminole Holiness Church with William Burns officiating.
