DAVIS — Services for Elma Lorene Roady, 89, Davis, are 11 a.m. Monday at the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial follows at Green Hill Cemetery. She died Sept. 21, 2005.

TULSA — Services for Kevin D. Weast, 37, Tulsa, are 10 a.m. Monday at South Tulsa Baptist Church, Dr. Lonnie Latham officiating. Burial follows at Atwood Cemetery, Atwood. Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Bixby Funeral Service.

Mr. Weast died Sept. 22, 2005. He was born Dec. 1, 1967 at Bethesda, Md., to the Rev. Forest and Patricia Poole Weast. His family settled in Oklahoma in 1975. He attended Lexington Public Schools and Stratford Public Schools before moving to Midwest City in 1980 where he graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1986. He attended East Central University, for two years and earned his accounting degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. He was very active in the accounting field and was a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and Tulsa Conference of Accountants. Mr. Weast earned his certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Public Accountant. He was employed at Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group as a director of special projects in the marketing department.

He was preceded in death by one infant sister, Janet; and grandparents, Marvin Weast, Lillie Mearl Weast and J.C. Poole.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie, of the home; daughters, Sayre and Schuler of the home; son Bryer, of the home; his parents, the Rev. Forest and Patricia Weast, Ada; sister, Kimberly Weast-Sabella and husband Lt. Col. James Sabella, Troy, Ill.; nieces, Hannah and Rachel Sabella, Troy, Ill.; nephew, Anthony Sabella, Troy, Ill.; and grandmother, Viva Greene Poole, Ada.

The family says that memorial donations may be made to South Tulsa Baptist Church, Building Fund, 10310 S. Sheridan Road, Tulsa, OK 74133.

ADA — Graveside services for Sue Wilson, 63, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at Memory Gardens, McAlester, Capts. Mark and LeighAnn Craddock of the Salvation Army officiating.

Mrs. Wilson died Sept. 22, 2005, at a Norman hospital. She was born Nov. 29, 1941, at Ada, to Marion Allen and Edna Mackelmurray Allen. She married Jackie Dean Wilson April 17, 1964, at Ada. He died Sept. 17, 1996.

Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of the Salvation Army and the Home League.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; several brothers and sisters; and one son-in-law, Ted Castillo.

Survivors include one son, David Wilson, of the home; three daughters, Angel Bray and husband Tim, Tammy Castillo and Jackie Cochran and husband Freddie, all of Ada; two brothers, Richard Allen, Ada, and Vern Wilson and wife Connie, Bristow; two sisters, Roberta Robinson, Tishomingo, and Billie Blansett, McAlester; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

BARSTOW, Calif. — Graveside services for Alma Cathlyn Harkrider Lindsey, 91, Barstow, formerly of Ada, Okla., are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Ada, the Rev. Bob Langston officiating. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, Barstow.

Mrs. Lindsey died Sept. 20, 2005, at a Beaumont, Calif. care center. She was born May 17, 1914, at Ada, to Sam and Jessie Mae Wright Harkrider. In 1918, during the typhoid epidemic, her mother died. Alma and her two sisters were taken to separate relatives in Illinois. She later moved to Okmulgee, Okla., where she graduated from high school. In 1931, she came to live in Ada and attended East Central College.

She married W. C. “Dub” Lindsey in 1933. He died in 1965. She and her husband owned and operated “Dub’s Shoe Shop” at Ada for 50 years. She was also employed at the First National Drive-through Bank until 1962. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Ada. She moved to Barstow in 1964.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Sue Lindsey Kelly and husband Jon; granddaughters, Kim Kelly Harris and husband Wade and Kaye Kelly Webster and husband Jim; great-grandchildren, Camie Harris, Krisie Harris, Derik Webster, Tristian Webster, Alley Webster and Nathan Jon Webster; great-great-grandchildren, Dylan and Brett; sisters-in-law, Ruth Lindsey Cole, Margaret Lindsey Cox, Jo Ann Lindsey and Polly Adkins; brothers-in-law, G. W. Adkins and Al Cole; nieces and nephews, Charlene Cross Winston, Dala Cross Rouse, Phillip Kirby Gull, Mickey Cox, Kent Lindsey, Cindy Hampton, Elaine McGee and Ann Farr.

ADA — Services for Walter Lee Seals, 66, Ada, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reaper Baptist Church, the Rev. Freddie Clark officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Seals died Sept. 22, 2005, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1938, at Maxwell, Okla., to Willie and Johnnie Mae Brown Seals. He attended Napier school.

Mr. Seals married Carolyn Yvonne Littlejohn. She died Aug. 8, 1998. He was employed as kitchen help with Golden Corral Restaurant from the time the restaurant opened at Ada until his retirement in June of 2005. Formerly, he was employed with Wickham Packing Plant, Ada. Mr. Seals was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Walter Seals, Jr., Allentown, Pa.; two daughters, Kathy Seals and Sherryli Rennae Seals, both of Tulsa; four brothers, Raymond Seals, Spencer, Douglas Seals, Eli Seals, both of Ada, and Willie Pink, Pauls Valley; one sister, Bertha Seals, Oklahoma City; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Bearers are his nephews, Jeffery Curtis Seals, Ronalda Seals, Jeremy Washington, Craig Rogers, Steven “Bud” Seals and Kenneth Ray Seals.

ADA — Memorial services for Brian Clark Self, 45, Ada, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Jay Keel officiating.

Mr. Self died Sept. 15, 2005, at his home. He was born April 8, 1960, at Ada, to Leon C. and Betty Benton Self. He lived all his life in this area, graduating from Ada High School in 1978 and East Central University May 11, 1985, with high honors, receiving a bachelor of arts degree. While at ECU he was a member of Pi Gamma Alu International Honor Society in social science, a member of Alpha Chi and received a service award for service to the University, to the student body, and to the community. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree of juris doctorate May 7, 1988. He was elected to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in 1983-1984 and 1984-1985. He was commended for Academic Achievement in Politics and Government on April 26, 1985.

Mr. Self passed the Oklahoma Bar Exam Oct. 5, 1988. He practiced family law for several years until health problems forced him to retire.

Survivors include his mother, Dr. Betty Self, Robert Lee, Texas; his father, Dr. Leon Self, Wyandotte, Okla.; two brothers, Bruce Self and wife Diana and Thomas Self, all of Denton, Texas; and two nephews, Ben and Jason.

JACKIE CARPITCHER
ADA — Services for Jackie “Jack” Carpitcher, 80, Ada, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Seminole Indian Baptist Church, the Revs. George Harjochee and Webster Fixico officiating. Burial follows at Carpitcher Family Cemetery. Wake services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Chapel, and at Seminole Baptist Church Friday evening.

Mr. Carpitcher was born May 23, 1925, at Sasakwa, to Weitna Weitna Carpitcher and Lilly Davis Carpitcher. He died Sept. 20, 2005, at home.

He married Winnie Mae Harjo in 1942. He was baptized by Walter Morgan at Birdcreek Indian Baptist Church. He and his brother and uncles built the first ball diamond at the Mekusukey Mission. He worked in the oil fields and as a laborer, and had his own engine shop.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Carpitcher, Freeland Carpitcher, Eunah Carpitcher and Joe Carpitcher; and two sisters, Sally Martin and Katy Cass.

Survivors include one son, W.W. Jimmy Carpitcher and wife Maxine, Sasakwa; three daughters, Jackie Kernel, Ada, Julia Isaac, Madill, and JoAnna Carpitcher, Byng; one sister, Virginia Cosar, Konawa; 15 grandchildren, Rhonda, Charlie, Rhoda, Angie, Deanna, Weitna, Jonnie, Jonell, Jon Jr., Travis, Janice, Timothy, Michael, Marques and Mario; 28 great-grandchildren, Ateesha, William, Tashina, Winterstar, Winterdawn, Destiny, Alexander, Rhiannon, Zaniel, Cynda Ann, Monique, LeAnn, Danielle, Amanda, Jessica, Thomas, Olivia, Kennedy, Kelsey, Kanada, Kenyon, Sierra, Grace, Aleah, Jonathan, Zachery, Johnsey, Emilee and Joseph; and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Bearers are Samuel Cane, Michael Joe, Jock Jones, Timmy Narcomey, Israel Camp and Edward Walker.

Honorary bearers are Danny James Carpitcher, Jesse James Carpitcher, Jackie Freland Davis, Victor Scott Underhill, Tyree Lee Underhill, Anthony Gordon Cosar and Mickey Lee Cosar.

LLOYD BOLIN SR.
LIVE OAK SPRINGS RESORT, Calif. — Graveside services for Lloyd H. Bolin Sr., 83, Live Oak Springs Resort, were Sept. 9, 2005, in El Centro, Calif.

Mr. Bolin died Sept. 1, 2005. He was born March 30, 1922, at Healdton, Okla. He lived in the Ada, Okla., area for many years. He married Billie Van Buskirk Oct. 13, 1945, at Sulphur, Okla. They moved to Holtville, Calif., in 1957. Mr. Bolin worked as a heavy equipment operator at Imperial Valley until he retired in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Billie; two sons, Harold Bolin and wife Jennifer, El Centro, and Gary Bolin, Columbia Falls, Mont.; three grandsons, Steven Bolin, Denver, Colo., Brent Bolin, El Centro, and Michael Bolin, College Station, Texas; two granddaughters; Michelle Jorgensen and Elizabeth Christianson, both of Missoula, Mont.; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

RIVERBANK, Calif. — Graveside services for Sue Green, 69, Riverbank, are 11 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park. Viewing is from 4-8 p.m. today at Riverbank Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Green died Sept. 18, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1935.

She was a native of Oklahoma. She worked as a manager for the Credit Bureau of Stanislans County for 35 years. She was also a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Nathan Green, Riverbank; three children, Karen Green, Modesto, Natha Snow, Montana, and Steven Green, Riverbank; two sisters, Mildred Clinton, Oklahoma, and LaWanda Snyder, New Mexico; three brothers, Billy Joe Young, Fresno, Elmer Lee Young and Riley Young, both of Oklahoma; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family says that remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society/Stanislaus Unit 1604 Ford Ave., Modesto, CA 95350.

Mr. Clark died Sept. 19, 2005, at Tishomingo. He was born Aug. 26, 1968, at Bakersfield, Calif., to Claud William and Merri Lynn Bird Clark.

He lived around the Fittstown area all his life. He graduated from Sasakwa High School.

Mr. Clark married Cheryll Phillips Kirk March 9, 1996, at Roff.

He was a heavy equipment operator for T.X.I., Mill Creek.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryll Clark, of the home; a son, Zack Clark, of the home; a daughter, Ashley Clark, of the home; stepchildren, Dustin Kirk and wife Ashley, Melody Stokes, all of Roff, and Julie Pennington and husband Brent, Ada; his father, Claud Clark Sr. and wife Brenda, Fittstown; his mother, Merri Clark, Ada; grandmother, Georgia Thomas, Missouri; two sisters, Melinda O’Dell and husband Billy, Tulsa, and Toni Collins and husband Tony, Ada; brother, Danny Clark and wife Jerri, Kentucky; his mother and father-in-law, Gene and Linda Phillips, Roff; a sister-in-law, Genia Phillips, Roff; a brother-in-law, Randall Phillips and wife Lisa, Fittstown; five foster children, Brittany Stokes, Kelsey Kirkland, Roff, Larissa Kirkland, Stonewall, Ashley and Norma Jean Watham, of the home; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
