Charlene Yvonne Barker Keiser, 79, died peacefully in her home in Houston, Tex. on Nov. 28, 2013.
Charlene was born Sept. 5, 1934 in Shawnee, Okla. to Audrey and James Barker.
Charlene graduated top of her class from Seminole High School.
As a young lady, Charlene fell in love with her soul mate James "Jim" Thomas Keiser. Jim and Charlene were wed on Sept. 3, 1952.
Charlene is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Jim Keiser; daughter, Vicki Lynn DiMayo (Michael DiMayo) Las Vegas, Nev.; son, (James) Keith Keiser (Derinda FitzGerald Keiser) of Cypress, Tex.; three grandchildren, (James) Lee Kirk (Lynn W. Kirk), Las Vegas, Nev.; Derielle Keiser and James David Keiser, Cypress, Tex. and two great-grandsons, Brady Kirk and Ryan Kirk, Las Vegas, Nev.
Though Charlene was an only child she considered her husband’s siblings her siblings: Bob and Patsy Keiser, Glenpool, Okla.; Carol and David Smith, Eufaula, Okla. and Eddie and Linda Keiser, College Station, Tex.
Jim and Charlene retired to Lake Eufaula from Guymon, Okla.
They were always surrounded by family and friends doing fun activities such as boating, playing cards, and square dancing.
Charlene also loved to the play the piano.
Charlene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eufaula, Red Hat Society, FLEAS and enjoyed volunteering with God’s Helping Hands.
Viewing was Monday, Dec. 2, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home.
Charlene will be laid to final rest graveside at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3 in Resthaven Cemetery.

David Kelly
David M. Kelly, longtime Seminole resident left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 in Copell, Tex.
David was born in Tulsa, Okla. on Sept. 9, 1924 to John and Minta (Mills) Kelley.
David and his family moved to Seminole where David went to school and completed the eighth grade.
David joined the U.S. Navy in 1941 and served his country during World War II and the Korean War. David retired from the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 1, after 20 years of faithful service.
After the service David went to work for the civil service, working in the dental labs department at Lowery Air Force Base in Denver, Colo. for 17 years before retiring and moving back to Seminole, Okla. in 1980.
David was also a member of the Fleet Reserves Association.
David married the love of his life Dana Poplin; they were married for 60 years, before Dana went to be with the lord. David and Dana had 10 children.
David is survived by Patrick Kelley of Oklahoma City, Okla., David Kelley Jr., of Carrollton, Tex., John Kelley of Amarillo, Tex., Mary Thompson of Plano, Tex., Jim Kelley of Byers, Colo., Cheryl Wise of Carrollton, Tex., Richard Kelley of Lewisville, Tex. and Joyce Patterson of Carrollton, Tex. Twenty grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survived David.
David was survived by three sisters; Irene Lockhart of Oklahoma, Alice Tregea of California and Lela Mae Bennett of Arizona.
Two daughters, Karen East and Carol Nguyen preceded him in death.
David was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dr. George Davis, John Kelley, Albert Kelley, Patrick Kelley, Paul Kelley.
His family and friends will remember David as the picture of the perfect family man.
Funeral services are planned for 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
U.S. Naval honors will follow at the burial at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be David Stoeber, Johnathon Bunch, Darrel Patterson Jr., Kevyn Kelley, Daniel Kelley and James Thompson.
Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Herlena Kemp
Herlena Kemp, 92, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Wewoka.
She was born Nov. 16, 1920 in Beaumont, La.
She attended Douglass High School in Wewoka.
Services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Macedenia Baptist Church in Wewoka. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery and Rev. Clive Cochran and Rev. Benson will officiate.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Mitchell and Leola Henderson Mitchell; two sons, and one daughter.
She is survived by three daughters, Pauline Davis of Wewoka, Vernice James of Norman and Clyde "T" Bruner of Oklahoma City; and two sons, Louis Kemp of Wewoka and Gene Kemp of Shawnee; 44 grandchildren, 97 great grandchildren and 100 plus great-great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Myers Mortuary in Wewoka.

Ruth Kimrey
Ruth Alene Kimrey, 95, of Tontitown, Ark., died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
She was born Jan. 10, 1918 in Cordell, Okla. to John and Martha Knight Holly.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Kimrey, of the home; four children, Patsy Garner of Powell, Wyo., Shirley Cox of Wewoka, Okla., Harold Kimrey of Tontitown, Mike Kimrey of Knoxville, Ark.; a sister, Thelma Casteel of Aurora, Ore.; 12 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Elm Springs Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, Ark.
Cornell King
Cornell Leon King Sr., 92, died July 18, 2013, at Colonial Park Nursing Home in Okemah after a prolonged illness.
King, who had a major stroke in 2004, had lived in the nursing home since.
A farmer/rancher by profession, King also was a construction foreman for more than 30 years.
King and wife, Imogene, raised seven children: five boys and two girls.
Born Nov. 22, 1920, in Boley, Okla., to Winfred and Lula King, he attended school through the 10th grade.
He served bravely in the U.S. Army during World War II for four years and received an honorable discharge in 1945.
In 1946, he married Imogene Tomlin Burdine and moved to Seminole County, where they farmed and raised their children.
King was baptized into the faith at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Russ, Okla., by his wife’s minister grandfather, J.W. Tomlin. He later united with Bells Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Imogene King; five children, William King, Harold King, Clyde King, Sharon Foulon and Sylvia E. King-Cohen; 16 grandchildren; and more than 30 great-grand children and 20 great-great-grand children.
He was preceded in death by two sons; a daughter-in-law; his parents; and eight siblings.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Bells Chapel Baptist Church, Highway 48, off Highway 56. Interment will follow at the Boley Cemetery off Highway 62.
Letha King
Letha Lee King, 99 year-old Wewoka, Okla. resident died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Okla.
She was born Aug. 13, 1913 in Holdenville to John Long and Myrtle McCaslin.
She had lived in the Holdenville and Seminole County area for most of her life.
She was a member of the Creek Nation Of Oklahoma.
She married Louis King, Sr. in Holdenville in 1929.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband.
Survivors include one son, Louis King, Jr. of Keizer, Ore.; three daughters, Lahoma Driver of Shelbyville, Ky., Lois Perry of Gilroy, Calif. and Louina Smith of San Angelo, Tex.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens of Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Letha King
Letha Lee King, 99, Wewoka resident died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Okla.
