Kenny was born June 16, 1951 in Henryetta, Okla. to Clensie and Alta Loyd.

He was a 10 ½ pound beautiful bouncing baby boy.

This bundle of joy went on to meet and fall in love with Shange Daniel.

They eloped May 31, 1968 and recently celebrated 45 years of marriage.

From this union two children were born Angela Loyd and Ryan Loyd.

They were later blessed with two grandchildren that they were privileged to raise as their own, Russell Loyd and Shange Loyd.

This wonderful grandfather also has two other grandchildren Danielle Loyd and Rowdy Loyd.

Family, friends and his Christian faith were very important to him.

He had two biological brothers, James and Gary Loyd, two living sisters Linda Moffett and Johnny Moffett and one sister who preceded him in death Fran Coe.

He also had two brother in laws Bob and Jack Daniel that he called brothers.

As well as a best friend that he was honored to call his brother Ronnie Wilson.

He has many brothers and sisters in Christ from his strong faith that he gave credit for extending his life.

Ken broke in rough necking at the age of 16 with his brother in law and hero Bob Daniel.

From this tutelage, he stayed in the oil field moving to driller, tool pusher, drilling superintendent, operations manager, and drilling consultant. This passion never died, with this dedicated man working until the end of life. His knowledge and love of drilling rigs was well known and respected.

Among his favorite hobbies and activities was his membership with the Masonic lodge as a master mason.

This man never had idle hands. He loved carpentry often having a hammer in his hand with his next project. He built and restored multiple cars and go-carts and shared his love of his craft.

Ken leaves a legacy of knowledge from his profession and hobbies.

However, his greatest gift came after the devastating news of his diagnosis of prostate cancer almost four years ago.

After learning this cancer was already at stage four, he became a crusader educating other men to be tested and know the warning signs. He handed out prostate cancer awareness bracelets every September.

He also became more outspoken about his love of God and why he became a Christian and assisted others in their own journey.

Kenneth was a wonderful individual who will be missed by all who knew him.
