Richard Allen "Spanky" Orr, born July 2, 1965; was called Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov. 15, 2013.
Ricky, as he was known by his family and friends; was raised, went to school, and worked in the Wewoka and Holdenville area most of his life.
Ricky worked and held many positions throughout his life from working in the oilfield to interim pastor; from driving a school bus to teaching children’s church and youth ministries, always spreading and sharing God’s love.
He loved to share his humor on whatever he was doing; never failing to leave you with a laugh or smile.
Ricky’s passion was for serving his Lord and studying His word.
A close second was his love for spending time with family and friends on any capacity.
He married the love of his life and best friend, Mary Leann Cellars on Sept. 23, 1989.
From this union they raised two children, his daughter Kianna Lee Orr and his son Franklin Wayne Orr of Wetumka.
Ricky loved to hunt, fish, play golf, go to gospel singings, watch and help area marching bands; watching and supporting OU athletics, of which was always seen on his OU cap.
He was a member of the Holdenville Pentecostal Holiness Church, but loved attending, preaching, and singing at several area churches. He loved to fellowship in any shape and form and considered everyone a friend.
Ricky was raised and adopted by his grandmother, Verna Orr of Wewoka, who precedes him in death. Also preceding him in death are his mother, Glenda Resendez of Pasadena, Tex.; uncles, Frankie Orr of Wewoka and Robert Sands of Seminole, paternal grandparents Odell and Ora Lee Tarpley of Wewoka, and great grandfather Jack Lemon of Oregon.
He is survived by his wife Mary Leann of the home in Holdenville; his daughter and husband Kianna Lee and husband Robert of Holdenville; son Frankie Wayne of Wetumka; father and step-mom Gary and Jeanie Tarpley of Roseburg, Ore.; paternal grandmother Dorothy Lemen also of Roseburg, maternal step-father Arnold Resensez II of Pasadena; aunts and uncles, Paul and Wanda Rennie of Tuston, Calif., Tommy and Carolyn Orr of Moore, and Sandy Sands of Seminole; four half sisters and two half brothers, John Rennie of Long Beach, Calif. and Arnold Resendez III of Pasadena, Mary Resendez of Pasadena; Teresa Clark and husband Kenny of Roseburg, Ore.; and Kim Holmes and husband Gregg of Phoenix, Ariz. as well as his wife Leann’s family whom he loved and considered his own, as well as a host of other relatives and friends of whom there are too many to mention but Rick considered not only friends but family.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Holdenville. Pastors Marty Gustin and Rick Madron will officiate. Interment will be at Little Cemetery at a later date.
Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Edrado Osborne
Edrado Osborne known as "Kip" to most and "Bones" to others was born Aug.26, 1962 to Elzora Osborne and Hubert Barkus.
He attended Sasakwa Public Schools.
His career included machine tech. at Solo Company, auto mechanic and heavy equipment operator until his health declined.
He is survived by 14 children; six step-daughters, Valarie Kuehn of Checotah, Felicia Peltzer of Purcell, Sunny Roberts of Sasakwa, Jaydon Morris of Sasakwa, Kresha Bundy of Wewoka, and Kristina Bundy of Oklahoma City; two step-sons, Matthew Roberts of Sasakwa, Cody Bundy of Konawa; sister, Blonzine Street of Lancaster, Calif.; two brothers, Phillip Barkus and Steve Barkus of Wewoka; and stepfather, Freddie Oby of Wewoka.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and one sister Charlotte Garland.
Patricia Pack
Patricia Louise Pack, 77, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.
She was born in Capital Hill, Okla. to Robert and Lola Sweet on April 5, 1935.
She married Robert E. Lee Robertson, who preceded her in death.
She later married Harold Pack.
She is survived by one daughter, Trela O’Daniel; a son, Gary Robertson; 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole with Rev. Charley O’Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole.
Casket bearers will be Stephen Byrd, Ronnie Ross, Adam Hiett, Rob Fletcher, George Eastling, Darren Johnson, Josh Smith, Jay O'Daniel, Josh O'Daniel and Ryan Stone.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Marland Davis Palmer, Jr.

Marland Davis Palmer, Jr., 57, Maud resident died Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Shawnee, Okla.
Marland was born on Dec. 10, 1955 in Perryton, Tex. to Marland Davis Palmer, Sr. and Mary Alma (Collins) Palmer.
Marland attended and graduated from Bowlegs High School and then went on to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Sayre, Okla. where he obtained a degree as an X-ray Technician.
After graduation he went to work for Seminole Municipal Hospital as an X-ray Tech.
Later he owned his own trucking company and hauled grain and cattle for many years.
From 2003 to 2009 he worked at Stewart Wholesale in Earlsboro, Okla.
Marland was a member of the "Faith Riders", a Christian Motorcycle Ministry.
He was also a member of the Peoples Church in Maud, Okla. He started his walk with Christ in April of 2008 and was baptized in a farm pond in June 2008.
Marland served his county and state in the Oklahoma Army National Guard for many years and was a part of the Wewoka Unit.
Marland loved music, hunting, fishing and camping, but his great passion during his life was riding his motorcycle.
Marland is survived by his wife, Dianna Lee (Jordon) Palmer of the home, whom he had been with since September 2003.
He is also survived by a son, David Dewayne Palmer of Yuma, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Lucrecia Reagan of Maud, Okla. and Dawnya Reese of Asher, Okla.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glendon Garner and Margaret Garner of Maud, his sister, Mary Gee of Prague, Okla.; a brother-in-law, Geoffrey Garner of Maud; and half-sister, Donna Lou Harrington of Lacey, Wash.; one niece; five nephews; and six step-grandchildren survive him.
Also one uncle, James Yeager, who assisted with his care during his long battle also survives him.
His father, Marland Davis Palmer, Sr. in 1993 and his mother, Mary Palmer on Feb. 24, 2013 preceded him in death.
There will be a memorial service for Marland at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel; at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013, this will also include a memorial service for his mother, Mary Palmer who died one month earlier.
The family will celebrate both of their lives during this combined service. Rev. Glen Pence will officiate.

Long time Maud, Okla. resident Dianna Lee Palmer passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at her home, she was 57 years old.
Dianna was born Aug. 21, 1956 in Seminole, Okla. to parents, Glendon Fred Garner and Margaret Lee (Houck) Garner.
She was a homemaker and a member of the People’s Church of Maud.
Dianna loved being outdoors working in her flower beds, camping, home decorating, being with her family.
Dianna was a member of the "Faith Riders" a Christian Motorcycle Ministry.
Dianna was preceded in death by her first husband, Terry Joe Jordan on Jan. 24, 1998 who was the father of her children and her second husband Marland Davis Palmer, Jr. who died March 24, 2013
Dianna is survived by her parents, Glendon and Margaret Garner; two daughters, Lucrecia Ragan and her husband Stacy Ragan of Maud, Okla., Dawnya Reese and her husband Steven Reese of Asher, Okla.; one brother, Geoff Garner of Shawnee, Okla.; six grandchildren, Kierstin, Kenzie, Kourtnee, Marissa, Rayanna, and Tristan; she is also survived by one niece, Shelby and two nephews, Jacob and Gavin.
Dianna was preceded in death by her first husband, Terry Jordan; second husband, Marland Palmer and one brother, Glen Don Garner.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole, Okla. Officiating will be Rev. Glen Pence.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mary Palmer
July 3, 1929 – Feb. 25, 2013
Mary Alma (Collins) Palmer, 83 year-old, former Seminole resident passed from this life on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at Colonial Estates Care Center in Shawnee, Okla.
Mary was born July 3, 1929 in Snowmac, Okla. (just south of Seminole, Okla.) to parents Minnie Maybelle (King) and Buford Yeager.
Mary met and later married Marland Davis Palmer, Sr. on Dec. 14, 1945 in Maud, Okla.
She went on to earn her x-ray technician degree from Southwest State University and worked for Seminole Municipal Hospital in Seminole, Okla. and later at Morton County General Hospital in Elkhart, Kans. until her retirement in 1987.
Sadly her husband of 48 years preceded her in death in January of 1993.
Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elkhart, Kans.
She moved back to Seminole County in 2003 from El Reno, Okla. where she had been caring for her niece who had brain cancer.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Marland Palmer, Jr. and his wife Dianna of Maud, Okla.; one daughter, Mary Gee of Prague, Okla.; one step-daughter, Donna Lou Harrington of Washington State; three half brothers, Morris Yeager of Tenn., James Yeager of Maud, Okla., Glen Yeager of Calif.; four grandsons, Rev. James T. Benedict and his wife Freda, Gerald Doyle and his wife Christy, Alex Semkoff, David Palmer; five great granddaughters; four great-great grandchildren; two great-great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marland Davis Palmer, Sr. who died in January of 1993; one brother, Clinton Eugene Collins; and by one sister, Helen Maybelle Harris.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 4:00 p.m., along with her son, Marland Davis Palmer, Jr., Rev. Glen Pence will officiate at the service.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
