Zariah Randle

Zariah Rose Randle was born May 18, 2013 in Ada, Okla. to parents Ashley Brinsfield and Anthony Brandon Randle.

She died at the age of one month and 12 days at her home in Seminole on Sunday, June 30, 2013.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 noon, on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.

Survivors include her parents, Ashley Brinsfield and Anthony Randle; one brother, Zehrehne Simpkins of the home; one sister, Ka’Leah Simpkins of the home; grandparents, Tori and Sonny Phillips of Wewoka, Okla. and Eric and Rhonda Brinsfield of Midwest City, Okla., Dr. Vickie Carter Randle and Lee Randle of Seminole, Okla.; Robin Lestes of Tulsa, Okla.; great grandparents, DeeAnn Hutton of Seminole, Okla. and Lee Randle and Lynn Lane of Texas; great-great grandmother, Gladys Brinsfield of Seminole, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her twin.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Okla.

Arthur Redding

Arthur Dale Redding, age 52, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at Holdenville Hospital.

He was born Dec. 15, 1960 in Holdenville to David H. Redding and Anna Lee (Upton) Redding.

He was a graduate of Wewoka Public Schools.

He worked in the oil fields.

He is preceded in death by his father, David H. Redding; grandparents, Bonnie and Tilford Redding, James and Ora Upton; and a brother, Mark Redding.

Survivors include his mother, Anna Lee Redding of Wewoka; wife, Sandra of Wewoka; step-daughter, Lynette Campbell; eight grandchildren; brother, David Lee Redding of Wewoka; and one sister, Marilyn Calvert.

Following the wishes of Arthur there will be no viewing or service.

David Redding

Funeral services for Wewoka artist David Lee Redding are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, July 12, 2013 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Askins of Clarksville, AR officiating.

He was born Feb. 3, 1952 in Holdenville to David H. Redding and Anna Lee Upton.

He was a graduate of Wewoka High School and later worked in the oilfields and as a farm hand.

He was a member of the CE Low, which help with the park and swimming pool in Wewoka and was of the Baptist faith.

David enjoyed reading, visiting with the girls at the Library, and painting.

Preceding David in death are his father, David H. Redding; grandparents, Bonnie and Tilford Redding, James and Ora Upton; brothers, Mark Redding and Arthur Dale Redding.

Survivors include his mother, Anna L. Redding of Wewoka; and sister, Marilyn Calvert of Maud.

Arrangements are by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Wanda Redding

Services for Wanda Fay Redding, 66, of Ada, were 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home, Rev. Dan Cusher officiated. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.

Ms. Redding died Friday, March 22, 2013 at a local hospital.

She was born Jan. 9, 1947 in Wewoka, Okla. to Orville and Vinita Dinwiddie Cellars.

She attended Wewoka schools.

She moved to Ada in 1996 from Konawa.

Ms. Redding was a nurse’s aide and the last seven years she was employed with the Ada Nutrition Center at Irving delivering meals to shut-ins.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmie Madron of Holdenville, Gene Madron and wife, Shelley of Olney, Ill., and Paul Madron of Ada; two daughters, Lisa Boland of Shawnee and Melinda Mathis of Ada; a sister, Carolyn Boykin and her husband Chet of Ada; a brother, Nolan Cellars and his wife, Janie of Stigler; a special friend, Jaime Gomez of Ada; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Bearers were Christopher Cheek, Christopher Honsinger, Travis Honsinger, Graig Cheek, Brian Boykin and Roger Cellars.

Services were under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.

Albert Reich

Albert Eugene Reich passed away on Oct. 9, 2013 in Midwest City, Okla.

He was born on Oct. 17, 1925 in Wewoka, Okla. to George Washington Reich and Mattie Edith Hanning Reich.

Albert was the youngest of five children and attended New Lima Schools.

Albert married Mary Ellen Woodin on June 20, 1942 in Holdenville, Okla.

The couple had three children, Tommy, Peggy and Judy.

From the time of their marriage, Albert and Mary loved being together. They worked together all of their lives in business and life. They chose to be in love every day of their 71 years of marriage.

Albert served his country in the United State Army stationed in California and Washington.

He worked all over the United States as a heavy equipment operator.

He and Mary enjoyed traveling.

Albert graduated from the Reisch Auction School as an auctioneer colonel.

Albert and Mary owned and operated a variety of businesses including Reich Reality, A & M Auctioneer Company, a laundry mat, a donut shop, mobile home parks and sales, furniture store, and oilfield trucks.

Albert loved to setup businesses and sell them once they were established.

He also farmed and ranched at various times in his life.

While working hard was important to Albert it was only a means so that he could enjoy having fun and laughing with family and friends.

Playing moon and dominoes was one of his favorite pastimes. Albert and Mary often hosted moon parties where the entire house was full of tables for playing, food and friends/family.

Albert loved to makes those around him smile and laugh.

Preceding Albert in death are his parents; son, Tommy Eugene Reich; grandsons, Kelly Dean Reich and Tommy Leroy McCoy; siblings, Mary Hildreth, Lee Reich, Julia Brown, and Edith Watts.

His wife, Mary Ellen Reich, survives him of the home, as well as his daughters, Peggy Irwin and husband, Chuck of San Antonio, Tex. and Judy Hillhouse Azlin and husband, David of Wewoka; grandson Billy McCoy and Bobby McCoy; and four great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and family and friends.

Funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday Oct. 14, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Wewoka. Pastor Jay Badry will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Garrett McCoy, Randy Tingwald, George Reich, Jimmy Reich, Roy Reich, and Raymond Hildreth.

Honorary bearers will be Grayson McCoy, Ronald Reich, Jim Chadick, Zane Smith, Tommy Summy, and George Sanderson.

Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Lorine Reynolds

Lorine Phyllis Cheatwood Reynolds, 92 year-old, longtime Seminole resident died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was born Feb. 22, 1921 to Nathan C. "Nat" Cheatwood and Willie Azora (Clayton) Cheatwood.

She was a bookkeeper and office manager for Cornet Stores in Pasadena, Calif. where she retired.

She married Raymond R. "Bud" Reynolds on March 27, 1939 in Holdenville, Okla.

She is survived by one son, Ron Reynolds of Russellville, Ark.; two brothers, Floyd Cheatwood of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Charles of San Angelo, Tex.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters-in-law, Hazel Summers of Seminole, Okla., Maurice Reynolds of Grandbury, Tex. and "Scooter" Cheatwood of Lawton, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond "Bud" Reynolds; three sisters, Marie Stapleton, June Isham and Grace B. Lott; and one brother, Ralph Cheatwood.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole with her brother, Floyd Cheatwood officiating the service.

The family request that donations be sent to Crossroads Hospice in Memory of Lorine Reynolds (Att: OKC Office) the address is 10810 E. 45th Street Suite 300, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74146.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Raymond Reynolds

Raymond R. Reynolds, 96, of Russellville, Ark. died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Russellville Nursing and Rehab in Russellville.

The son of Charles and Haydee (Potter) Reynolds, he was born March 10, 1917 in Rocky Point, Okla.

He married Phyllis "Lorine" Reynolds, on March 27, 1939 and worked in the oil industry as an oil well cementer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Reynolds of Granbury, Tex.; three sisters, Mozelle "Boe" Pitts, Joyce Miller and Marie Reynolds, all of Seminole, Okla.; and an infant sibling.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis "Lorine" Reynolds of Oklahoma City, Okla.; son, Ron Reynolds and wife Donna of Russellville, Ark.; granddaughter, Patricia Renee Turk-Delone and husband Jerry of Augsburg; grandson, Robert Reynolds of Fayetteville, Ark.; great grandson, Joe David Turk of Augsburg, Ark.; sister, Hazel Summers of Seminole, Okla.; two brothers-in-law, Floyd Cheatwood and wife Elva of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Charles Cheatwood and wife Carolyn of San Angelo, Tex.; sister-in-law, Maurice Reynolds of Granbury, Tex.; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Little Cemetery in Seminole, Okla. by Humphrey Funeral Service.

Secquindolyn Rhodes

Secquindolyn Rhodes, a life long Seminole county resident, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 at Shawnee, Okla. at the age of 72.

She was born Oct. 19, 1941 in Wewoka, Okla. to Sam Alford Rhodes and Delia Mae (Samuel) Rhodes.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Education after graduating from High School.

She taught at Strother Schools, and was an accomplished author and poet before retiring in 2003.

She married John C. Winrow on Nov. 11, 1961 in Wewoka.

She is survived by one son, John C. Winrow, Jr. of Shawnee; one daughter, Torsha S. Winrow of Denton, Tex.; two sisters, Rachel Rhodes Lewis of Carrollton, Tex. and Ruth Rhodes Hunter of Renton, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday Dec. 21, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, Seminole with Dr. George E. Young officiating. Burial will take place at Earlsboro Cemetery, Earlsboro, Okla.

Serving as casket bearers are Quinton J. Winrow, Zachary B. Winrow, John C. Winrow, Orvell Lewis, II., Shawn Stephens and Earl W. Stephens.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
