Harold Walker

Harold J. Walker, age 61 years of Wewoka, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2013 at his home.

He was born Dec. 30, 1951 in Talihina, Okla. to the late William Hamilton and Harriett Alberson Hamilton.

He married Teresa Larney, Sept. 4, 1971 in Ada, Okla. and prior to his illness he worked for Winslow and Associates as Supervisor of Furniture Factory.

Harold was an avid OU Fan of football and basketball, and the Thunder team.

He enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Preceding Harold in death are his parents; and son, David Walker.

Survivors include wife, Teresa Walker of the home; children, Eben Walker and Breonna Walker of the home; sisters and brothers, Patricia "Mac" Enwright of Muskogee, Okla., Darryl Hamilton, Neva Harjochee, Miranda Pearce, Harold Hamilton, Harlean Hamilton, Billy Hamilton all of Ada, Joyce H. Fixico, of Morris, Okla., Donna Hamilton, Jeanine Alberson, and Cindy Alberson all of Okemah, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Vic Guiterrez, Mitch Traylor, Rowe Kishketon, David Watson, Herb Johnson, Roy Yargee, and Marion "Tinker" Jones.

Pallbearers will be Randall Walton, Douglas Reed, Randolph Larney, William Larney, Elliott Alberson, and Tim Harjochee.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada with Rev. David Little and Rev. Mike Enwright officiating.

Arrangements are by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka.

Barbara Waller

Barbara Ann (Barham) Waller, 67, life long Seminole, Okla. resident died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole.

She was born Oct. 16, 1945 in Seminole to Robert Jerald Barham and Bonnie Daisy (Lofton) Barham.

She worked as a nurse’s aid (C.N.A.) most of her life.

Survivors include one son David Waller of Oregon; one daughter, Shirley Fulkerson of Seminole, Okla.; three grandchildren; and one sister, Diane of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, David Waller, Sr; two brothers, Gerold Wayne Barham and Robert Russell Barham.

Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Charles Waller

Charles (Chuck) Thomas Waller, of Seminole, Okla. died Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Seminole, Okla., from injuries sustained in a one-person motorcycle accident.

Born in Merced, Calif. on Nov. 18, 1979, to Thomas and Judy (Smith) Waller, Charles lived in Chowchilla, Calif. for 19 years.

He resided in Merced, Calif. for six years until he moved to Oklahoma with his family.

Charles called Ardmore, Madill, and Seminole home for the past nine years.

Charles was employed at Dollar General in Ardmore, Okla., for the past five years where he developed many friendships.

He was certified and highly trained in carpet/cleaning restoration.

He volunteered with Faith Hospice in Seminole, Okla.

Charles loved the outdoors, enjoyed spending time with his family, and always put others before himself.

Charles always had a positive spirit, kind word to share, and a smile to brighten any room.

His children were his world and he adored his wife.

His presence will be missed by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Saysamone Emanivong Waller; three daughters, Hannah, Madison, and Sophie Waller; and one son, Everett Waller; his mother, Judy Waller; one brother, Kenneth Waller, and one sister, Julie Waller. Charles has many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and Preston Kolb and Chris Branham who he leaves behind.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tommy Waller; grandparents, Lyla and Kenny Waller and Margarite and Richard Smith; and father-in-law Bounlay Emanivong.

A memorial service will be held at the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel in Ardmore, Oklahoma on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. After services in Ardmore, Charles will be transported to Evergreen Funeral Home in Merced, Calif., for a traditional Laotian Service. His final resting place will be in Merced, Calif.

Saysamone Waller

Betty Waltens

Betty L. Waltens, former Maud, Okla. resident passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 in Mulberry, Ind. at the age of 80.

Betty was born Nov. 27, 1932 in Maud to parents William (Willie) Weatherford Ledbetter and Letha Belle (Jackson) Ledbetter.

She was a graduate of Maud High School and a homemaker.

Betty was married to Clayton Waltens for 47 years.

After Clayton’s retirement they moved back to Maud, and lived there for 20 years.

Clayton passed away in 2001 and Betty moved from Maud to be close to her children.

Betty is survived by three children, Dianne Larson and her husband, Mike of West Lafayette, Ind., Steve Waltens and his wife Julie of Dallas, Tex. and Dan Waltens and his wife Michelle of Parker, Colo.; six grandchildren, Angie Rauckman and her husband Eric, Jennifer Larson, Lindsey Larson, Emilie Larson, Brandon Waltens, Kennedy Waltens; and one great grandson, Aidan Chestnut.

Betty was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Letha Ledbetter; husband, Clayton Waltens; daughter, Debbie Thomas; sister, Ernestine Lacefield and brother, Johnny Ledbetter.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church of Maud, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will take place at Cummings Cemetery, Maud.

Casket bearers are Steve Waltens, Dan Waltens, Mike Larson, Darryl Ledbetter and Roger Kiser.

Funeral services are under the directions of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud.

Charles Ward

Charles Eugene Ward, age 74 years of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, September 21st, 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born August 19, 1939 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to the late Charlie Leroy Ward and Ida Lee Crosby Ward. He married Lisa Jones October 24, 1987.

Eugene attended Saskwa public schools and was self-employed cattle buyer. He enjoyed raising cattle and raising racing horse. He worked for Steve's and Johnson Oil Co. as a pumper. He loved spending time with his family.

Preceding Eugene in death are his parents and half-brother Troy Ward.

Survivors include his wife Lisa of the home, two daughters Sophia Watters and husband Jeff of Saskawa, Sally Tarver and husband David of Konawa; son Shawn Ward and wife Ladonna of Council Hill, OK; granddaughters Heather and husband Justin Clifford of Allen, OK, Holly and husband John Goodson of Holdenville, OK, Amber Palmer and husband Steven of Konawa; Kristin Daugherty and husband Jimmy of Ft. Gibson, OK, ; grandson Reece Aldridge of Konawa, Ross Aldridge, Konawa, Shane Ward and wife Pam of Council Hill, OK, Scott Ward, and wife Haley of Ada, Andy Ward of Council Hill, OK, Travler Ward of Council Hill, OK; great-grandchildren Rush Black, Rylan Black, Madalen Clifford, Remington Clifford, Roper Goodson, Rance Goodson, Rowdy Palmer, Reanna Palmer, Lane Ward, Chelsi Daugherty, and Caleb Daugherty; Brothers and sisters Sonny Ward, Sasakwa, Oval Ward and wife Leeann of Hitchita, OK, Jackie Clifton and husband Wayne of Sasakwa, Nyoka Davis and husband Jerry Don of Spaulding, OK; half sister Donna Ward of Holdenville, OK ; half brothers Beaver Ward of Shawnee and Rocky Ward and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Pall Bearers will be Shane Ward, Scott Ward, Andy Ward, Reece Aldridge, Ross Aldridge, and Rush Black.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed George officiating, and burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Randy Watkins

Randy Lee Watkins was born May 12, 1965 in Oklahoma City, Okla. and departed this life on Friday, June 14, 2013 in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 48.

Randy, the son of Jerry Lee and Suzanne (Harper) Watkins was a resident of Tecumseh, Okla.

Prior to moving to Tecumseh, he had lived most of his life in Seminole County.

He worked in commercial construction until his health forced him to retire.

Randy is survived by his parents, Jerry and Suzanne Watkins of Seminole; one sister and brother-in-law, Kristi and Robert Walker of Calera, Okla.; and many other family members and friends.

No services are planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.

Shirley Watson

Shirley Ann Watson was born on Oct. 22, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Okla., and departed this life on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at her home in Prague, Okla., at the age of 61.

Shirley, the daughter of Fred and Lois (Trammel) Orsburn, was a resident of Prague.

She graduated from Western Heights High School with the class of 1971.

Shirley married Ray Watson on Sept. 29, 1971, in San Rafael, Calif.

She loved to travel and shop, but most of all Shirley loved being a mom and MeMe.

Her parents and brother, Stevie Orsburn, preceded Shirley in death.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ray Watson of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Lois and John Brown of Prague; two grandchildren, Zander and Bristol Brown of Prague; two brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Sheila Orsburn of Pryor, Mike Orsburn of Eufaula; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lana and Danny Iverson of Moore, Sharon and Larry Whitlock of Seminole; Vicki and Johnny Woods of Prague and a host of friends and family.

The Watson family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., at Calvary Way Church in Prague with Rev. Starland Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.

Keitha Watts

Keitha Lea Watts, 71, longtime Seminole, Okla. resident, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 in Irving, Tex.

Keitha was born Sept. 19, 1942 in Carmi, Ill. to Violet Beatrice (Caffey) Rogers and Buel Williams.

Keitha moved to Seminole, eight years ago, from Holdenville, Okla.

Keitha worked in several restaurants in the area as a waitress for many years.

Keitha married Kyle Watts in 1968, in Pecos, Tex., and he preceded her in death in 1994.

Keitha is survived by her two sons, Tony Watts of The Colony, Tex. and David Schoonover of Minerva, Ohio; one brother Jim Williams of Konawa; one sister Joyce Harbeston of Seminole.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richie, Andrew, Chris, Hollie, David and Natalie and her great grandchildren, Kambria, Seger, Justin, Anthony, Spencer, Samantha, Sophia, Dahlia and Clover; and one great great grandchild, Alayna.

Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Rogers; sister, Sondra McKee; her daughter, Julie Watts; and her husband, Kyle Watts.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with James Williams officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
