Dewey Lee Faulkner was born June 5, 1930 at home in Harjo, Okla. to Dewey Jewel and Vera Inez (Pratt) Faulkner.
He died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 at the age of 82 in Tecumseh.
He married Mabel Marie Cooley on April 30, 1948 in Dalhart, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Faulkner of the home; three children, Danny Faulkner of Hooker, Okla, Vera Hale of Eufaula, and Teresa Storts of Knoxville, Tennessee; one sister, Virginia Faye (Faulkner) Giffith of Seminole; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.
Dewey worked for 15 years in the oil field around the Maud area. He then opened and operated "Deweys Service Station" for 18 years in Maud. After closing the station Dewey and Mabel went to work for Wal-Mart stores running the film route delivering film to the stores throughout Oklahoma for 12 years, Dewey also did the upkeep and servicing of the vehicles for all of the Oklahoma routes.
He was member of the Citizen Potawatomie Nation of Oklahoma.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012 at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, with Pastor Dan Kasper officiating.
Honorary bearers will be Buck Buchanan, Terry Palmer, Paul Lucy, Barry O’Daniel, Jack O’Daniel, and Steve O’Daniel.
The family requests that donations be made to the Church of God building fund at P.O. Box 190 Maud, Oklahoma 74854.
Services are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud.
June Maxine Feken

June Maxine (Fischer) Feken, 90, of Perry, was born on June 5, 1922 on the family farm east of Covington and died on Sept. 27, 2012 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry.
June was the firstborn of seven children to John Arthur and Bertha (Wolf) Fischer.
She grew up and attended school in Covington, graduating from Covington High School.
During World War II she went to Wichita, Kansas to work in the factories supporting the war effort.
June married Vernon Donoho and to this union two daughters were born, Linda Sue and Sandra Kaye. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1989.
Upon moving the family to Perry, June worked at the Wolfe Meat Processing Plant, Clark's Meat Processing Plant, Klein's Meats, Safeway and was an original employee of Mr. Convenience store when it opened for business.
She retired in 1984 and began baking cakes for all occasions.
On July 28, 1974 in Perry, she married Ed Feken he preceded her in death after thirty two years of marriage.
June lived a very full life, enjoying everything from league bowling to traveling; she approached everything in life with enthusiasm.
She was always anxious to hear what was going on in the lives of others and had a hug for everyone.
She loved her Wheatheart friends. Her cakes, cookies and Christmas peanut brittle will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to be on the receiving end of her giving.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sept. 28, 2012 at First Christian Church in Perry. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Interment will be in Covington Cemetery, Covington, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.

June is survived by two daughters, Linda McSwain of Stillwater, Sandy Kern and her husband, Mark of Edmond; two-stepsons, Eddie Feken and Fred Feken and their families; three grandchildren, Tim Beier of Perry, Amy Nieuwenhuis and her husband, Jason of Edmond, Morgan Scott and her husband, Brandon of Oklahoma City; five step-grandchildren and their families, Laurie and John Lewis of Bowlegs, Zane and Katie Feken of Seminole, Lisa and Jay Camp of Tecumseh, Kristy and Donald Emmitt of Seminole, and Chadd and Sonya Feken of Tecumseh; two-great grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah Nieuwenhuis both of Edmond; one brother, Lloyd Fischer and his wife, Barbara of Enid; two sisters, Beverley Warren and her husband, John of Covington, Jo Ann Albright and her husband, Duane of Oklahoma City; two sister-in-laws, Hattie Fischer of Perry and Marie Fischer of Covington, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Fischer; her first husband, Vernon Donoho; her second husband, Ed Feken; three brothers, Walter Fischer, Don Fischer and Maurice Fischer; one sister-in-law, Irma Fischer; two stepsons, Frank Feken and Ben Feken; one stepdaughter, Darlene Klein; and one grandson, Edward Feken.
Mary Finch
Mary Josephine (Nichols) Finch, age 83 and longtime resident of Konawa died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery. Rev. Mona Fulks will officiate, and Rev. Pam Shirk will assist.
She was born April 14, 1929 in Konawa to Jesse Ray Nichols and Winnie (Johnson) Nichols.
She graduated from Konawa High School and married Albert J. Finch on Sept. 13, 1952 at the Pentecostal Church of God Parsonage in Konawa.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Albert J. Finch of the home; two sons, David of Lewisville, Texas, and Layne Finch of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Richard Nichols of Norman; two sisters, June Neal of Konawa and Doris Bartigis of Newalla; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Winnie Nichols.
Seth Finnie
Seth Thomas Finnie, 26, Wewoka passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Wewoka.
He was born July 31, 1986 in Shawnee to Bruce Finnie and Julie Claeys.
He loved to work and has worked doing a variety of jobs. He worked for Kimco Oil, Cook Oil, Bronco Drilling, Danco Steel, Carter Const. and any odd job.
He would help anyone who needed his help anywhere any time.
Preceding him in death are Leslie and Adrienne Finnie; and brother, Brandon Wadlow.
Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Melody Finnie; mother, Julie Claeys; children, Lexus Finnie and Bently Finnie; grandparents, Michael and Shauna Claeys of IL.; two sisters, Amandia Hutchison and husband, Tracy Johnson of Wewoka, and Misty Jones and husband, Oda of Holdenville; seven brothers, Bryant Finnie, Jason Finnie and wife, Sheena of Wewoka, C.J. Wadlow of Cromwell, Mitchell Bryant of Cromwell, Jermaine Weaver of Wewoka, Josh Bruner of OKC, Jamerle Weaver of San Diego, CA; a host of other relatives and friends including Chelsie Murray and Jacobs Robertson of Wewoka.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lexus and Bently Finnie trust fund.
Funeral services were Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home and burial at Little Cemetery with Pastor Clive Cochran officiating.

Seth Finnie
Funeral service for Seth Thomas Finnie, 26 of Wewoka will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday Nov. 15, 2012 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
He died on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Wewoka.
Kenneth Fixico
Kenneth Wayne Fixico, Sr., Seminole county resident died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at his home. He moved to Seminole from Shawnee, Oklahoma 22 years ago.
Kenneth was born on February 27, 1940 at Pawnee, Oklahoma to parents, Edmond Smith Fixico and Magdalene Tanyan Fixico.
Kenneth was a machinist for 25 years; he was a foreman for Compton Machine and retired in 1992 from Wolff Machine. He was an ordained minister, member of the Wewoka Indian Baptist Church, he was a councilman for the General Counsel of the Seminole Nation, a commissioner for the Seminole Housing Authority and a member of the Hecete Band.
Kenneth married Semarian (Davis) Fixico in Shawnee.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Semarian of the home, three sons; Kenneth Fixico, Jr. of Seminole, Justin Fixico of Lawrence, Kansas, Aharalock Fixico of Lawrence, Kansas, three daughters; Kendra Arpoika of Seminole, Dana Fixico of Seminole, and Lilly Harjo of Lawrence, Kansas. He is also survived by two sisters; Geneva Lowe of Shawnee, Winona Washington of Oklahoma City, 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by two sons; Shannon Fixico, Kenneth Thomas Fixico, daughter; Teddi Fixico, his parents; Magdalene and Edmond Fixico, sisters; Myrtle Johnson, Margaret Hobia, Teresa Creek, Gladys Kaskaske and brothers; Thomas Fixico and Samuel Fixico.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday May 21, 2012 at New Hope Fellowship Church with Rev. Donny Faulkner, Rev. Steve Holata and Rev. Paul Fixico officiating. Burial will be at the Fixico Family Cemetery, Seminole county.
Samuel Fixico
Samuel Edwin Fixico a longtime Seminole county resident passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Seminole; Samuel was 61 years old.
Samuel was born Oct. 3, 1950 in Talihina, Oklahoma to parents, Edmond Fixico and Magdalene(Tanyan) Fixico.
Samuel worked as an automobile mechanic for many years.
Samuel was of the Baptist faith belonging to Snake Creek Baptist Church #2.
Samuel was a full blood Seminole, a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma, and a member of the Hitchite Band.
Samuel is survived by one son, Samuel Fixico of New York; six daughters, Sherry Fixico of Shawnee, Tina Southers of Seminole, Rhonda Fixico of Seminole, Thomasene Fixico of Shawnee, Christina Drinkard of Tishomingo and Tia Fixico of New York.
Samuel is also survived by one brother, Kenneth Fixico of Seminole, two sisters, Geneva Lowe of Shawnee, Winona Washington of Oklahoma City, nineteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, Magdalena (Tanyan) and Edwin Fixico; four sisters, Myrtle Johnson, Gladys Kaskaske, Teresa Creek, Margaret Hobia; by one brother, Thomas Fixico and one son, Samuel Edwin Fixico, Jr..
Funeral service for Samuel will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Snake Creek Baptist Church # 2. Bill Hobia will be officiating and assisted by Steve Holata. Internment will take place at the Snake Creek Cemetery.
Samuel will be taken to the church at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 for a 7:00 p.m. wake service that night.
Serving as casket bearers are Thomas Hicks, Bill Hobia, Jr., Rodney Fixico, Timothy Meely, Graylen Johnson and Gerald Fixico.
Honorary bearers are Henry Hicks, Steve Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, Joe Johnson, Walter Johnson and Loren Fixico.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Sonja Fixico
Sonja Lynn Fixico, born in Oklahoma City, was employed at the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic and the Red Cap Tag Agency most of her working career.
She is survived by sons, Julien and Derek Cintron; brothers, Darrell Wood, Tim Wood; sister, Debra Roundtree; and two grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Fixico; and her brother, Emmett Wood.
Evening Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lynlee Mae Chapel, 507 E. Main St. in Moore.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Hawkins Family Cemetery in Wewoka.
Arrangements are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
