Funeral services for Thomas Fixico will be held Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Creek Chapel Church in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Creek Chapel Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 9, 1977 in Claremore, Okla. to George Fixico and Joyce Hale.
He died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 in Tulsa at the age of 35.
He was a graduate of Butner High School in 1996.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Fixico and half sister, April.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Hale of Okemah; one son, Tayten Fixico of Henryetta; two daughters, Kyla Fixico of Henryetta and Karissa Tiger of Henryetta; one brother, Kuskvna Deere of Okemah; and two sisters, Sheri Tiger and Kintv Deere both of Okemah.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Okemah with Rev. Malcom Tiger and Rev. Edwin Jimboy officiating.
There will be services held Saturday, Dec. 29th from 7-8 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel.
A wake service will be held Sunday, Dec. 30th at 7:30 PM at the Creek Chapel Church.
Rena Fobb
Memorial service for Rena Jane Fobb, age 46, of Frederick, will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Flores officiating.
She died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in an Edmond hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 13, 1965 to Hickman, Jr. and Ruth Marie (Unah) Fobb in Lawton.
She attended Frederick Public Schools and graduated from Frederick High School in 1985.
She graduated from Oklahoma State University, Okmulgee campus.
She married Randy D. Young, in Vernon, TX.
She worked at Frybrant and Schlegel.
She was preceded in death by her mother; one son, Cory Fobb and four brothers, Steven, Daniel, Paul, and Michael Fobb.
She is survived by her father, Hickman Fobb, Jr. of Frederick; her husband, Randy Young of the home; two brothers, Allan Fobb of Cleburne, TX, and James Fobb of Snyder, OK; three sisters, Patricia Fobb of Frederick, Karen Fobb of Frederick and Thaylia Fobb, of Frederick and one grandson.
Diane Foster
Diane Elaine Foster, 58 of Konawa passed away on June 18, 2012 in OKC after a lengthy illness.
She was born on March 26, 1954 to John M. Foster and Evelyn G. Foster in Freeport, Texas.
She attended schools in Hobart, Oklahoma where she graduated high school in 1972.
She attended SWOSU where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in social work.
She worked for the Oklahoma State Department of Human Resources and later worked for Girling Health Center as case manager.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Konawa and was very active with the United Methodist Women.
She was known for the cupcakes she made for the Wednesday Kids Program.
She was an excellent cook and loved to collect and share recipes.
She was an avid OU football and Thunder fan.
She lived for over 20 years with diabetes.
She is survived by three children, Jason Hawthorne of Louisiana; Sarah Daniel of Texarkana, Texas and Matthew Hawthorne of OKC.
She had four grandchildren.
She is also survived by three sisters, Janis Schultz and husband Larry of Austin, Texas; Marsha Venable of Cedar Park, Texas and Guyla Talley and husband Tom of Hobart, Oklahoma.
Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Foster.
A Memorial Service will be held for Diane on Saturday, June 23rd at 1st UMC in Konawa, at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oklahoma Diabetes Association or First United Methodist Church, Konawa.
Virginia Frank
Sasakwa resident Virginia Ann Frank, passed away Sunday, Jan 8th, 2012, in Tulsa, at the age of 78 years.
She was born Nov 21, 1933 in Holdenville, OK to George Lee Frank and Molly (Harjo) Frank.
Virginia was a retired LPN. She graduated from The Blackwell General Hospital School of Nursing and worked for Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She was a member of Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church.
Virginia enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting and being with her family.
Preceding Virginia in death are her parents, sister Sissy Franks, brothers Spencer, John, and Dave Franks.
Survivors include son, David Lee Frank of OKC; daughter, Patricia Ann Larzani of Kissimmee, FL; sisters, Lydia McHenry, Minnie Gouge, Lula Woods, and Nora Thompson; grandchildren, Cameron Lee Frank, Kayla Marie Larzani, and Adriana Virginia Frank.
Pall Bearers will be Virgil Franks, Ray Franks, Danny Franks, Roman Powell, Tommy McHenry, David Gouge.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Ted McHenry, George Thompson, and Simeon Johnson, and Waylon Gray.
Wake Service will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, Jan 10, 2012 at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, Jan 11, 2012 at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Alexander and Rev. George Harjochee officiating and burial to follow at Franks Family Cemetery, Sasakwa, OK.
The body will be taken to Middle Creek #2 at 4:00 PM Tuesday, Jan 20, 2012.

Rev. Jeff "Sonny" Frazier died Saturday, Feb 4, 2012 in Ada at the age of 65.

Evelyn Fretz-Bohanon
Evelyn Eva (Godfrey) Fretz-Bohanon, 90, longtime Seminole resident died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Oakridge Care Center in Wewoka.
She was born May 28, 1922 in Boonville, Arkansas to parents Anna Ola (Weaver) and Clarence James Godfrey.
She attended Seminole Schools and went on to further her education at Seminole State College in Seminole.
She worked as a beautician.
Survivors include one son, Paul Leon Fretz of El Paso, Texas; one daughter, Janice Kay Dunagan of Seminole; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, with twins on the way.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Anna Ola Godfrey and Clarence James Godfrey; her first husband, Jewel Kenneth Fretz; her second husband, George Robert "Bo" Bohanan; one son, Richard Kenneth Fretz; one brother, Bob Godfrey; and by one sister, Aileen Akir.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating the service.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Kirk Fye
Kirk Anthony Fye, Sr., age 55, Seminole resident died Monday, March 26, 2012.
Kirk was born July 17, 1956 in Belvedere, California to Bertha Samaniego and Sidney Fye.
Kirk worked for Ace Hardware for many years and was also a self employed carpenter.
He is survived by wife Kathryn Harjo of the home; three daughters, Lani Fye, Starla Harjo both of the home, Sheila Stewart of California; six sons, Sterling, Kirk Jr., Sa-che-me-che all from home, Jeremy Fye of Florida and Justin Fye of California; four grandchildren; four brothers, Ron, Pat, Scott Fye all of Nevada and Keith Bohn.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Fye; two grandchildren, Zayne Harjo and Lillian Morgan; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Harjo and brother-in-law, Lincoln Jones.
Kirk will be taken to the home of his sister-in-law, Angela Harjo on 1130 University in Seminole for viewing of the body.
A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 at Sand Creek Eufaula with Rev. Houston Tiger and Rev. Steve Holata officiating. Burial will take place at Harjo Cemetery located southwest of Wewoka.
Pallbearers are Thomas Jones, Jr., Brandon Minner, William Snyder Jr., Chris Morgan, Nate Silva and Trent Stuart.
Honorary bearers are Lani Fye, Sterling Fye, Kirk Fye, Jr., Jeremy Fye, Justin Fye and Sa-che-me-che Harjo.
