Janet Howeth

Janet Leigh Howeth, 59, Earlsboro resident died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at her home.

She was born March 1, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Archie Sylvester and Dorothy Maxine (Scott) Ingrum.

She has lived in the Seminole area for past several years.

Janet grew up in the Oklahoma City area and attended Blanchard High School where she graduated.

She married Charles Roy Howeth, Sr., on July 2, 1981 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Roy Howeth of the home; her mother, Dorothy Ingrum of Norman; one son, Charles Roy Howeth of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and her daughter, Jancy Diana Johnson of Earlsboro; two sisters Sharon Kay Gray of Norman and Barbara Jean Moncus of Irving, Texas and ten grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the family home in Earlsboro.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.

Lea Hoyle

Lea D. (Bunch) Hoyle, age 57, long-time resident of Konawa died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

She was born March 8, 1955 in Levelland, Texas to Gordon Bunch and Lela (Vickers) Bunch.

She graduated from Taft High School in California and married Bob Hoyle, Jr. on Aug. 24, 1984 in Las Vegas Nevada.

She worked as a telephone operator.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Hoyle, Jr. of the home; one step-daughter, Michelle Watkins of Hugo; one sister, Judy Blackburn of Ada; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Lela Bunch.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Roger Hulsey

Roger Leon Hulsey was born May 31, 1938 in Merced, California to Elijah and Lillian Hulsey.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Akasvmkv Baptist Church, 400 S Wewoka Ave. in Wewoka. Pastor Dan Factor will officiate.

Roger passed away Thursday, Feb 23, 2012 at age 73.

He was a member of Akasvmkv Baptist Church in Wewoka.

Roger was baptized Dec 17, 2000 at Akasvmkv by Pastor Dan Factor.

Roger is survived by his wife Josephine (Factor) Hulsey of Seminole; four sons, Jeff Hulsey of Calhoun, Louisiana, John Hulsey of Dallas, Georgia, Bobby Hulsey of Leesville, Louisiana and David Hulsey and wife Beverly of Summerfield, Louisiana; two step sons, Dennis Fish and wife Kathy of Seminole and Bennie Fish of Holdenville; three daughters, Linda Graham of Lanett of Alabama; Wanda Bryant and husband Lester of Leesville, Louisiana and Mary Ann Waldon and husband Greg of Freeport, Florida; two step daughters, Sharon Kay (Fish) Burgess of Wewoka and Lucy Jo (Fish) Kelough and husband Robert of Seminole; two brothers, Bobby Hulsey of New Mexico and Billy Hulsey of Arkansas and four sisters, Delores Barthlomew of California, Virginia Crauthers of California, Cathy Lemmon of California and Shirley Meeks of Idaho.

Elizabeth Humphrey

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jewel Humphrey died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012.

She was a long time resident of Konawa before moving to the Seminole Estates Nursing center in Seminole for the past two years.

She was born June 18, 1910 in St. Louis, Okla.

She attended Konawa schools before attending Vamoosa High School.

On April 10, 1926, she married Claude Humphrey. They had two sons, Max and Jimmy Humphrey.

She worked at various jobs including Bate’s Drug store for many years and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children and several grandchildren.

There are no services planned at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Green Country Funeral Home in Tahlequah.

Kathryn Huser

Kathryn Kyle Huser, born May 8, 1916 in Robinson, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at the age of 96.

Kathryn attended Wesleyan University and the Chicago Art Institute before being accepted to Northwestern Medical School in Chicago.

Rather than pursue a medical career, she married Bob Kyle Sr. and started a family in Oklahoma.

Years later, after Bob Sr.'s passing, she fell in love with and married Marshall Huser.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Ida Ikemire; brother, Paul; sisters, Jewel, Gladys and Pearl; husbands, Bob Kyle and Marshall Huser; daughter-in-law, Marsha Kyle; son-in-law, John Carter; step-son, Paul Huser, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathryn is survived by her son, Bob Kyle and his wife Margaret; her stepchildren, John Huser and his wife Shirley, Sue Carter and Bill Huser, along with all of their children and grandchildren.

She is also survived by her nephew, Harry Williams and his wife Relina, their children and grandchildren, and by her own grandchildren, Chris Kyle, and his wife Andrea, Robbie Kyle, Kate Donovan and her husband Sean, Sarah Blakemore, along with great granddaughter Claire Kyle.

Kathryn truly touched the lives of many people, all of whom felt a special connection with her.

She had many interest and talents.

While her family always came first, she found time along the way to be an accomplished artist, a hat maker, a wine make, to help run a family business, and maintain a large circle of cherished friends.

After her husband Bob's death she returned to school and became a medical technologist, working for many years and making many close friends at Valley View Hospital in Ada.

Upon her marriage to Marshall, she became a knowledgeable manager of oil properties.

She was a fascinating story teller, especially to her beloved grandchildren was a amazing as she was unique to know and love.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Coone of the First Presbyterian Church, Wewoka officiating and burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka.

Rose Hutchings

Rose Lillian (Belanger) Hutchings, 90, died Oct. 4, 2012 in Holdenville.

She was born July 2, 1922 in Dover, New Hampshire to Charles and Roseanne (Gingrass) Belanger.

She attended and graduated from school in Dover.

After high school, Rose began serving her country in the United States Air Corps in Dover, New Hampshire.

Her services included serving during World War II in Fairbanks, Alaska.

She married Emery Hutchings in Dover on June 29, 1946. They moved to Holdenville after their service in the military.

She was employed at the Holdenville Hospital as a purchasing agent for many years.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Wilford Belanger, Albert Belanger, Raymond Belanger, and Eva Palmory.

Survivors include her husband, Emery of the home; children, Linda Hokit of Holdenville, Emery Hutchings Jr. of Rowlett, Delores Melton of Holdenville, and Suzanne Williams of Oklahoma City, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Christian Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Holdenville with Fr. Peter Phung officiating.

Burial will follow at the Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Vandeveer, John Williams, Christopher Babb, Adam Mudd, Noah Houston, and Cody Hill.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.

Jimmy Hutchinson

Graveside service for Jimmy Ray Hutchinson, 79, Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mountain Park Cemetery in Mountain Park, Oklahoma with Harlon Woodall officiating.

Mr. Hutchinson died Tuesday, Feb 14, 2012 in Oklahoma City.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Lawton.

There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday at the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder.

He was born April 2, 1932 in Ozark, Arkansas to Thomas and Hattie (Tripp) Hutchinson.

He married Christina M. Boyd on April 6, 1984 in Vernon, Texas.

Mr. Hutchinson had served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, of the home, four children, Sonya Autry, Oklahoma City, Denise Haynes, Granite, Cheryl Love, Snyder and Michael Smith, Killeen, Texas, eighteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a son, James Michael Hutchinson, brother, Odell Hutchinson, sister, Tommie Hutchinson and two grandsons, Chad Cheek and Anthony Williams.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 6465 S. Yale, Suite 312, Tulsa, OK 74136-7810

Ashlee Hutton

Ashlee Hutton, 29, Maud, resident died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at her home in Maud.

She was born March 20, 1983 in Wewoka to Randy Dean and Marilyn Kay (Redding) Calvert.

Ashlee was a homemaker and lived in the Seminole area most of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Calvert of Maud; father, Randy Calvert of Seminole; two sons, David Hutton and Paden Wallace of the home and a daughter, Sky Hutton of the home in Maud; four sisters, Carrie Travels of Maud, Sarah Brewer of Seminole, Nicole Weeks of Florida and Caitlin Kueneman of Maud; grandmothers, Ann Redding of Wewoka and Jan Calvert of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, David Redding and H.B. Calvert Jr. and grandmother, Janice Belshe and uncle, Mark Redding.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka. Rev. Rusty McMullin will officiate at the services.

Casket bearers will be Randy Calvert, Jimmy Calvert, Byron Calvert, Jason Hutton, Cody DeCar, John Brewer and Brandon Travels.

Honorary bearers will be Payden Wallace and David Hutton.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud.
