Opal Marie (Herriman) Auld Jolley, age 91, resident of Konawa, died at her home Tuesday, Feb 14, 2012.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Feb 17 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Rev. Ed Bray, Pastor of Cross Timbers Church will officiate.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Herriman, Dusty Herriman, Ernie Herriman, Dave Herriman, John Davis, Nico Brawdy, and Blake Votaw.
Opal was born Oct 24, 1920 in Asher, to Dave and Josie (Davis) Herriman.
She married Henry Jolley on Sept 25, 1940 in Konawa.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Jolley of the home; one son, Gerald Jolley of Cushing; three daughters, Henrietta Brawdy of Seminole, Glenda Martin of Enid, and Debbie Walker of Konawa; one brother, Dan Herriman also of Konawa; four step-sons, Mike Auld of Shawnee, Steve Auld of Oklahoma City, Mark Auld of Konawa, and Dale Auld of Seminole; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Darald, Ernie, and Yule Herriman; three sisters, Gracie Foran, Ida Ewing, and Florence Yott; and one step-son, Dennis Auld.
Della Jones
Della W. Coker Jones, 92, life long Seminole resident died Friday, March 9, 2012 in Seminole, Okla.
She was born on July 13, 1919 in Seminole County to David and Selina (Micco) Coker.
Della attended Pleasant Grove Schools west of Seminole. She worked at the Douglas Aircraft plant as a Riveter, later at Lillian Russell in Wewoka, Okla. and at the Seminole Library.
Della was married to the late Herman "Jerry" Jones in June of 1954; he preceded her in death in March of 1994.
Della is survived by a son Kenneth Tiger and his wife Teresa of Vallejo, Calif.; three daughters, Marsha Chapman of Stillwater, Okla., Carmen McKinney and her husband Tom of Muskogee, Okla., and Kevin Bunner of Seminole, Okla.; two sisters, Hazel Lusty of Yukon, Okla., and Anna Mae Cash of Durant, Okla.
She is survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Herman " Jerry" Jones, Lee Tiger and Pete Lena; her brothers, Harry Coker, Dave Coker and George Coker; sisters, Edna Walker and Helen Hill; a son, Melvin Lena; granddaughter, Marissa Chapman; and great-grandchildren, William Campbell, Maizy Campbell and Lucas "Little Man" Campbell.
Wake services will be Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. Rev. Dorsey Nero and Rev. Rick Harjo will officiate at the services.
Casket bearers will be Jerry McKinney, Tommy McKinney, Jordan Lyons, Michael Bunner, Josh Phillips, Steve Goat and Joe Goat.
Honorary bearers will be Tod Robertson, Mark Evans, Rex Hailey, Keith Coker, Walter Hill, Glen Coker and David Coker.
Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Okla.
Helen Jones
Helen B. Jones, former Seminole resident, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 89.
She was born Nov. 23, 1922 in Seminole to Oliver B. and Ava Cook.
She grew up in Seminole and graduated from Seminole High School.
Helen retired in 1985 after 35 years working for AT&T as a Plant Assigner.
She is survived by her son, Billy Jack Jones of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Ava Cook, husband, Lewis Jones, one brother, Weldon Cook, two sisters, Genny Briery and Becky Duke.
Viewing for Helen will be held 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home at 1001 N. Milt Phillips of Seminole.
Private family burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery of Seminole.

Lavern Jones
Lavern "Skinny" Jones, 92 year-old, life long Seminole resident died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Seminole.
She was born March 11, 1921 in Seminole to parents, Callie (Lane) Jordan and William "Bill" Jordan.
She married Jack Jones on August 17, 1940 in McAllen, Texas.
She worked at the "old" Seminole Hospital for several years and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Jackie K. Jones of Seminole; two daughters, Cherlene Yarbrough of Seminole and Billie J. Johnson of Seminole; one sister, Wanda "Bunny" Langden of Orangevale, California, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Jones; three brothers; four sisters and one granddaughter.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be B.J. Kiser, Matthew Schuh, Danny Yarborough, Steven Brown, Timothy R. Brown and Robert Hurt, Jr.
Honorary bearers will be Robert Hurt, Andy Johnson and Jackie A. Jones.

Michael Kane
Michael Ray Kane age 64 of Wayne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 at his daughter’s home in Lexington.
Michael was born on Aug. 1, 1948 in Seminole.
He was the youngest child of six children born to Theodore Leroy Kane and Beulah Mae (Williams) Kane.
Michael grew up on a farm in Seminole County and attended Pleasant Grove Schools.
After graduating in 1966, he joined the U. S. Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict.
After being honorably discharged he returned to Oklahoma and later married Ollie Bratcher. Together they raised three children and made their home in Wayne.
Throughout his life, Michael worked hard at various jobs. In his earlier years he worked in the oil field. He later worked in the carpet business for a retailer in Wayne and then in Norman for many years.
Over the last 10 years of his life, Michael worked as a handyman doing painting and carpentry work. It was said that he could fix or repair about anything that was broken.
Michael had many hobbies that kept him in the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, and hunting.
He used to garden, but he mainly liked to collect things, some of value and some of no value except to him.
He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, a wonderful brother and good friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Beulah Mae Kane; a sister, Johnnie Sue Partain; a brother, James "Jim" Kane; daughter-in-law, Sandra Casey and four nephews, Clifford, Roger and Patrick Kane and Shane Reed.
He is survived by three children, Raenee Dunn and husband Buddy of Lexington; Scott Casey of Wayne and Jason Kane and wife Jocelin of Wayne; the mother of his children, Ollie Kane of Lexington; three sisters, Betty Young and husband L.D. of Sellerburg, IN, Joetta Meyer of Wayne, Pat Herman and husband Luther of Durant; six grandchildren, Ashly and Meranda Casey, Madalyn and Pyper Dunn, Jaden and Casey Kane, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Graveside Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at Wolf Cemetery in Wolf.
Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Galand Kelley
Galand Dean "Floppy" Kelley, 28, a resident of Konawa died on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25 at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa. Pastor Drew Isaacs will officiate.
Burial will follow at Dora Cemetery in Seminole County, north of Konawa.
Pallbearers are Billy Dixon, David Green, Jr., Davo Green, Edward Heard, D. J. Huckleberry, Jonathan Bounds, Greg Pemberton, and Matt Yerby.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rob Taylor, Danny Huckleberry, Shawn Taylor, and Jason Wall.
He was born Aug. 9, 1984 in Seminole to Frankie Dean Kelley and Darla (Shaw) Kelley.
He graduated from Konawa High School and worked as a Derrick Hand for Akerman Drilling.
He is survived his parents, Frankie and Darla Kelley of the home; two brothers, Frank Kelley of Konawa, and James Shaw of Ada.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
James Kelley
James C. "Jim" Kelley, 65, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 in Henrietta, Texas.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Henrietta, Texas with Rev. Randy Osborn, pastor officiating and Rev. Jim Moses, minister of music, assisting.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas.
Kelley was born on July 10, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Davis and Genevieve (Dugger) Kelley.
He had worked in Dallas and Waco as a Pharmacist and had owned the Script Shop in Konawa.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Davis Kelley; grandparents, Dug and Idylee Dugger, J.H. "Jim" and Lottie Kelley.
Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Kelley- Lopez and husband Sergio of Portland, Oregon; one son, Douglas Davis Kelley of Konawa; mother, Genevieve Kelley of Henrietta, Texas; three aunts, Mary Jean and Clancy Fleming of Kilgore, Texas, Bobbie and Graham Wilson of Henrietta, Texas and Lea Ann and Dr. David Greer of Henrietta, Texas.
There will be a family visitation after the memorial service on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Henrietta, Texas.
