Delbert Glenn Reiss, lifelong Seminole resident died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at Norman.
He was born Dec. 19, 1932 in Apache, Okla. to William Reiss and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Manschreck) Reiss.
He attended Seminole public school and after graduation he received a degree in Diesel Mechanics.
He also served in the United States Army.
He married Anna Mae Brown on Dec. 15, 1962.
He is survived by two sons; Fred Reiss of Norman, William Reiss of McAlester; and one daughter, Carla Hinds of Lindsey, Tex; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna Mae; one brother, Donald Reiss; and one sister, Evelyn Reid.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
Burial will take place at Little Cemetery, Seminole County.
Lela Remis
Lela Remis passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 in Wewoka at the age of 79 years.
She was born Nov. 27, 1933 in Wewoka to the late Abe Remis and Lucy Nero Green.
Wake service will be 6;00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Houston Tiger officiating and Rev. Jerry Baker assisting.

Burial will be at Johnson Family Cemetery.
Lela loved to sew, make quilts and dolls clothing. She was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
Survivors include a brother, Sam Remis of Wetumka; nieces and nephews, Samuel Remis, Sam Remis Jr., Tommy Remis, Ramona Remis, Linda Remis, and Barbara Remis; cousins, Ruth Reschke and Edith Dority, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Edward Renfro
Edward Eugene "Gene" Renfro, 78, Shawnee resident died Friday, Feb 10, 2012 at his home in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Gene was born Jan 2, 1934 in Wanette, Oklahoma to Lee Roy and Katie Evelyn (Killian) Renfro.
Gene grew up in the Wanette, Oklahoma area and graduated from Wanette High School.
Gene owned and operated Renfro Construction and was well known for his quality home framing business done in the Shawnee and Seminole areas; he retired in 2010.
Gene married Lelia Delores Renfro on June 9, 1989 in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Gene was a loving family man and enjoyed spending time with his family and many outdoor activities. His family loved him very much and will miss him dearly.
Gene is survived by his wife Lelia of the home in Shawnee, Oklahoma; one son Donn Renfro of Naperville, Illinois, two daughters Ronda Cathey of Seminole, Oklahoma and Crystal Howe of Stillwater, Oklahoma, he is also survived by two brothers Claude "Buck" Renfro of Pink, Oklahoma and Roy Renfro of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, one sister Evelyn LaVerne Renfro Skinner of Wichita Falls, Texas. He is survived by his nine grandchildren; JP, Abbey, Nick and Emily Renfro, Christa Sanderson, Carol Bush, Zachary, Coleman and Trevor Howe, and one great granddaughter Jayce Sanderson. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and a sister Rosalee Skinner.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, Feb 13, 2012 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with burial at Little Cemetery. Rev. Bill Chesser will officiate at the service.
Casket bearers will be Donn Renfro, Travis Howe, Zackary Howe, Coleman Howe, Ethan Sanderson and Bobby Bush.
Honorary bearers will be Buck Renfro and Roy Renfro.

James Renfro
Wewoka resident James Charles "Starchild" Renfro passed away on Thursday, Jan 19th, 2012 at his resident in Wewoka.
Born July 30, 1956 in Seminole to Rev. Billy Gene Renfro and Naomi Jean (Jennings) Renfro.
Services will be Wednesday, 1:00 PM, Jan 25, 2012 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Renfro officiating and burial at Westwood Cemetery.
James was a graduate of Wewoka High School in 1975 and then attended Central State University and Okmulgee Tech.
James loved spending time with his family, fishing, and helping others.
He was one of the last to retire from the Oklahoma City General Motors plant after 30 years of service.
He will be remembered by all for the huge heart he had.
Preceding James in death are his mother Naomi and sister Barbara Ann.
Survivors include his father Rev. Billy Renfro of Wewoka; daughter Candice Shaw and husband Andrew of Wewoka; brothers Terry Renfro of OKC, Keith Edwards of Wewoka, Fred Jennings of OKC; sister Billie Gene Renfro of OKC and Lorraine Edwards of OKC; Aunt Alma Jennings of OKC; Uncle Clifford Jennings of Checotah; four grandchildren Kalib, Andriya, Kaisyn, and Aevri of Wewoka. James is also survived by a host of friends and other relatives.
Pall Bearers will be Terry Renfro, Wayne Whitfield, Clifford Jennings Jr. L.B. Alexander Jr., Greg Chandler, and Jerome Johnson.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Keith Edwards, Fred Jennings, Labron Cosby, Alroy Renfro, Terrell Renfro, Anthony Edwards and Byron Edwards.

Mark Reynolds
Mark K. Reynolds passed away suddenly at his home in Oakland, CA on May 15, 2012.
Mark was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on January 24, 1958.
The youngest of three children, he was a beautiful baby and adored by his parents and siblings.
Mark and his family eventually settled in Seminole where Mark graduated from Seminole High School in 1976.
He attended Oklahoma State University and earned a degree in Radio and Television in 1981.
Mark began his career at the NBC Affiliate in Garden City, Kansas where he produced and directed local television commercials and the evening news broadcasts.
From there he was hired as the first producer/director of the OSU broadcast "Sun Up."
This agriculture news show aired every morning on OETA.
In 1992, Mark went to work for Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California where he produced a series of instructional medical videos for national publishers.
When this studio closed, Mark stayed on as Manager of Media Services for the university.
He would have marked his 20th year with Samuel Merritt University in August.
Mark’s colleagues and coworkers became his family away from home.
He was voted Staff Member of the Year several times and was loved by faculty, staff and students.
Mark was a passionate sports fan.
He followed the OSU Cowboys and enjoyed attending the Oakland Raiders and A’s games.
Mark had an uncanny knowledge of history and trivia.
He was known for his insightful presentations on the history and facts of the Bay Area.
Mark was also a lover of music.
All his friends would agree that Mark must have bought the first Ipod.
The people close to Mark would describe him as "the coolest guy they know."
He will be missed by many.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
Mark leaves behind his sister and brother in-law, Holly and Keith Frazier; his sister in-law, Sherry Reynolds; nieces and nephews, Andrew Reynolds, Kim Reynolds, Sommer Frazier, Mackenzie Frazier and Carly Frazier.
Mark joins in heaven his loving parents, Jack and Juanita Reynolds; his beloved brother, Steve Reynolds; as well as his grandparents.
Services will be at 11:00 Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Strode Chapel in Stillwater.
Services will be led by Mark’s youth pastor and family friend, Russell Vickers with burial at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.
Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial service for Mark will be held at Samuel Merritt University in June.

Donald Rich
Funeral services for Rev. Donald Gene Rich will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Welty Full Gospel Church. Interment will follow at the Welty Cemetery.
Rev. Donald Gene Rich was born June 3, 1939 in Welty, Oklahoma to J.O. Rich and Mary (Lancaster) Rich.
He died, Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 72.
Don had been a resident of the Okemah area most all of his life.
He and Charlsie Bevan were married April 20, 1966 in Okemah.
Don was the pastor of the 8th Street Holiness Church in Okemah for 18 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Samuel Rich; one sister, Hazel Rowan and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include his wife, Charlsie Rich of the home in Cromwell; one son, Mark Rich of Cromwell; one daughter, Loretta Underwood of Castle; four grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Serving as active pallbearers will be George Livezey, Sam Goodwin, Wayne Lindsey, Bruce Brown, Ronnie Brown, Justin Massey and Don Ackerman.
Honorary bearers include Ronnie Rich, Larry Rich, Robert Rich, Ray Rowan, Jody Rowan and Jonathan Woodruff.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah and officiated by Rev. L.D. Davis and Rev. Larry Chesser.
