Doyle Welch
In Loving Memory of Doyle Kelton Welch May 22, 1931-December 6, 2012
Doyle Kelton Welch was a loving husband, dad and grandpa. He loved with all his heart, soul and mind.
He’d look deep into your soul when he’d tell you he loved you and he cherished the love he would get in return.
As deep as his heart and spirit were, so was his love for fun and bringing it to his family and those around him.
He would liven up any get-together with his notorious jig and was known for taking his teeth out and putting them back in backwards and making faces.
He loved to fish and hunt and taught his children and grandchildren that love.
He brought his family up with music in their hearts by singing hymns and old country tunes. He loved God and he was so smart on the Bible because he read it daily.
One of his great qualities was his ability to ask for forgiveness and admit to shortcomings and we all loved him with all of our hearts because of that.
He was born May 22, 1931 to Monte and Martha Welch.
He married the love of his life and jitterbug partner, Mary Helen on Jan. 7, 1950 and celebrated 61 years of marriage on earth.
On Wednesday, the 6th of Dec. 2012 at the age of 81, Doyle Kelton went to Heaven to be with our Lord and Savior, surrounded by the family that he and Mary built together with love.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Welch, his parents, Monte and Martha Welch, Vera Coleman, sister; Olphelia Reich, sister; Elsa Mae Wright, sister; Clifton Welch, brother; Herbert Welch, brother; Lawrence Welch, brother; Oleta Clark, sister; Velma Hookerud, sister; Kevin Jackson, grandson; Brittney Michelle Darlene Welch, great-granddaughter; Daniel Dawson, grandson-in-law; Garrett Ryan Welch Christ, great-grandson, Kimberly Reed, granddaughter; Weldon Jackson, son-in-law.
