EARL PETTIGREW

ADA — Services for Earl W. Pettigrew, 61, Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Ken Butler and the Rev. Robert Ware officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Pettigrew died May 24, 2004, at a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1943, at Ludlow to Thurman and Edna Butler Pettigrew. He came to this area in 1947 from Ludlow, attending school at Asher and graduating from Asher High School. He also attended East Central University.

He was the manager for C. R. Anthony Company for 15 years. He later was the manager for several TG&Y stores, including Ardmore for several years, and was the automotive manager from 1980-1983 for the Ada TG&Y. He attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He and Ronda Simpkins were married Nov. 22, 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Ronda Pettigrew, of the home; three sons, Wayne Pettigrew, Brad Pettigrew and wife Breah, all of Tulsa and Cory Pettigrew, Ada; his mother, Edna Pettigrew, Ada; two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Butler and husband Ken and Arnon Stiles and husband Larry, all of Ada; a brother-in-law, Kent Simpkins and wife Katy, Longview, Texas; a grandson, Matthew Pettigrew, Ada and two granddaughters, Amery and Teagan Pettigrew, Tulsa; and several nieces and nephews.

Bearers are Shannon Butler, Anthony Butler, Jeremy O’Brien, Jeff O’Brien, Mark Simpkins and Billy Luce.

SULPHUR — Services for Lois Rachel Windham, 79, Sulphur, are 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church, Davis. Burial follows at Green Hill Cemetery, Davis.

She died May 24, 2004, at Sulphur.

ADA — Services for Berniece J. Brownlie, 86, Ada, are pending with Criswell Funeral Home.

She die May 26, 2004, at an Allen nursing facility.

NICHOLAS CAMP

ALLEN — Services for Nicholas Allen Camp, 18 months, Allen, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Allen Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Paul Butler officiating. Burial follows at Allen Cemetery.

The infant died May 23, 2004, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 2002, at Oklahoma City to James Camp and Cassie Lakey.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, James Camp.

Survivors include his parents, James Camp and Cassie Lakey, of the home; grandparents, Anita Johnson, Allen, Keith Lakey, Madill, and Cindy Camp; an uncle, Derrick Lakey, Allen.

Bearers are James Slaw and Nick Harris.

KONAWA — Services for Hortence “Dutch” Jackson, 94, Konawa, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Chapel. Burial follows at Vamoosa Cemetery.

She died May 24, 2004, at a Pauls Valley Hospital.

She died May 23, 2004, at Richardson, Texas.

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — Memorial services for Shane Randall Norman, 35, Rancho Mirage, were 11 a.m. today at the Church of Christ, Palm Springs. Burial followed at Desert Memorial Park, Cathedral City.

Mr. Norman died May 12, 2004, at Rancho Mirage. He was born Feb. 14, 1969, at Oklahoma City, Okla., to Richard Edgar and Nannette Orebaugh Norman.

He was an Internet Web page designer and the owner of Web Up. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his parents, Richard and Nannette Norman, Rancho Mirage; a sister, Amy Norris, Riverside; and a brother, Richard Norman, Rancho Mirage.

MARY ABELLI

ADA — Graveside services for Mary Ellen Abelli, 80, Ada, are 2 p.m. Monday at Vista Cemetery, Konawa, Floyd Kaiser officiating.

Mrs. Abelli died May 20, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born July 27, 1923, at Maud to Condy Monroe and Nora Elliott Dunagan.

She graduated from Vamoosa High School in 1943. She was a longtime resident of Ada and worked for many years as a unit secretary at Valley View Regional Hospital. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.

She married Armand Albert Abelli Aug. 4, 1947, at Concord, N.H. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Elmer Dunagan and Albert Dunagan.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Abelli, Ada; a daughter, Arianna Abelli, Burlington, Vt.; a brother, Fred Dunagan, Newcastle; a sister, Lois Shaw, Ada; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

She died May 20, 2004, at Bartlesville.

NON — Services for Gilbert A. Priest, 91, Non, are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Non Free Will Baptist Church, the Rev. Tim Dodson officiating. Burial follows at Non Cemetery.

Mr. Priest died May 21, 2004, at Norman. He was born Aug. 10, 1912, to Thomas A. and Florence Bankston Priest.

He was raised in the Non area and attended Non and Gerty schools. He moved to Ada in 1989 and moved to Noble earlier this year. He was a member of the REC board for 40 years. He also served on the Soil Conservation District Board, Farmers Home Administration Board and the ASC county committee.

He had been a member of Non Free Will Baptist Church for more than 80 years.

He married Demerril Turner in April 1935. She was killed in an accident soon after. He married Mable Shirley in April 1936 at Calvin. She died in 1987. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Florence Priest, and two brothers, Delmer Priest and Manuel Priest.

Survivors include a daughter, Pat Dodson and husband Gary, Norman; a son, Norm Priest and wife Pamela, Salt Lake City, Utah; five grandchildren, Melissa Priest, Park City, Utah, Kara Jensen and husband Jeff, Park City, Terrell Dodson and Trent Dodson, both of Oklahoma City, and Tim Dodson and wife Tiffani, Pearland, Texas; a great-grandchild, Alexis Jensen, Park City; a sister, Verna Shipman, Phoenix, Ariz.; and three brothers, Arlis Priest and wife Nadine and Elvis Priest and wife Rosemary, all of Phoenix, and Elzie Priest and wife Joann, Ada.

Bearers are Buddy Lawson, Tony Abney, Lloyd Joe Priest, Melvin Priest, Michael Priest and Mitchell Priest.

Honorary bearers are Millard Wainscott, Jackson Lawson and Leon Russell.

Donations may be made to Hillsdale Free Will Baptist Bible College, 3701 S. Interstate 35, Moore, OK 73129.
