Anna Lucile Cook Munday, 95, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Odessa.
She was born July 1, 1914, in Kiefer, Oklahoma to George Burton Cook and Mamie Bessie Lovett Cook.
She lived in Seminole, Oklahoma, until she moved to Odessa, Texas, in 1947. She worked for Penland Distributors for 25 years as a bookkeeper and receptionist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Ordell Green; brothers, Hugh Cook, Ed Cook, Lyndle Cook; and a sister, Inez Pester.
She is survived by a daughter, Johni Munday Richards and son-in-law, Jack B. Richards, of Odessa and a grandson, David A. Richards, of Roswell, New Mexico, also ten nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2009 at Maple Grove Cemetery, in Seminole, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to a charity of choice.

Dorothy Murphy
Dorothy Mae Murphy, 77 year-old, Seminole resident passed from this life Friday, June 26, 2009 at Seminole Integris Medical Center. She was born July 30, 1931 in Maud, Oklahoma to parents Oscar Samuel Mitchell and Marie Mae (Riddle) Mitchell.
Dorothy graduated from High School in Gainesville, Texas. She married Bill Autry and he preceded her in death in 1977. She later married Jack Murphy and together they owned and operated "Murphy Electric" in Seminole for many years while at the same time they managed "Shady Acres Trailer Home Park". Jack also preceded her in death.
Dorothy is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David Autry and his wife Melissa, of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Lee Autry and his wife Robin, of Arizona; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell and his wife Jean, of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Elery Arnold Mitchell, of Norman, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and a host of other family and dear friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas at 3 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Richard Neal
Former Seminole resident Richard Thomas (Dicky) Neal died Feb. 4, 2009 in San Francisco, Calif.
Neal was born April 11, 1955 to Sam and Carolyn Neal, in Wynnewood.
He is survived by his parents, of Pauls Valley; sister, Shelley McCaulla, of Davis; brothers, Jonathan Neal, of Pauls Valley and David Neal, of Flower Mound, Texas; daughters, Rachal Detherage, of Shawnee, Leah Neal, of Norman, and Sarah Neal, of Weslaco, Texas; and two grandsons.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Paul and Pine Church of Christ, in Pauls Valley.
Linda Neely
Linda Carol (Virgin) Neely, age 67 died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at Valley View Hospital, in Ada.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Vamoosa Cemetery with A. T. Scroggins officiating.
Neely was born April 5, 1941, in Henryetta, to D. R. Virgin and Ruby Fern (Horner) Virgin. She married Calvin L. Neely Nov. 7, 1959, in Sasakwa. She was a homemaker and worked for the Chickasha Nation for three years. She attended the Church of Christ, in Francis, and was a graduate of Sasakwa High School.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin L. Neely, of the home, in Ada, Oklahoma; three daughters, Pamela Delozier, of Ada, Paula Evans, of Ada, and Christa Gerhold, of Powell, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, D. R. and Ruby Virgin; one sister, Pat Lyon; and one brother, Lynn Virgin.
Pallbearers are Wendell Wynn, Bob Barrett, Billy Rice, Donald Rice, Chris Lollar, and Larry Sloan.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, of Konawa.
Robert Newman
Daddy Bob (Robert H. Newman), age 86, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2009, surrounded by a family who adored him.
He was born on December 29, 1923, in Wewoka, Oklahoman to Havis and Opal (Williams) Newman.
Bob served in the US Army from 1942-1945. He was a private pilot and a deacon of First Baptist Church, Wewoka. He was self-employed heavy equipment operator, welder, and contractor for Bell Telephone Co.
Bob was the very best storyteller and was always ready to tell a joke to anyone who would listen. He loved God and he loved people. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years Oleda (Jones) Newman; two sons, Larry Newman and wife Brenda, of Sunrise Beach, Mo. and Bobby Newman and wife Pam, of Cromwell; grandchildren, Parrie Bayles, of Lake Ozark, Mo., Shelli Jones, of Lake Ozark, Mo., April Mason, of Seminole and Sommer Wood, of Tecumseh, Vickie Newman, of Seminole, the mother of Sommer and April, Tessa Newman, of Cromwell, and Josh Sheffield, of Edmond; eleven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bertha Jean Sanders, of El Reno and Barbara Louise Orsborne, of Wewoka; and many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to count.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jim (Biddy Son) Newman and wife Pauline Newman and Jerry Williams.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Wewoka, with Rev. Michael Vallandingham officiating and internment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Cook, Cliff Taylor, Marion Burt, Gary Thomas, Butch Houser, Ryan Finkenberg, Vernon Kittsmiller, and Dan Houser.
Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, in Wewoka. .
Orville Niblack
Orville Asher Niblack, age 79, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, in Arlington, Texas officiated by Dr. John Robbins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home located at 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas.
Orville was born on Dec. 5, 1929 in Wewoka, to Clyde and Ruth Niblack.
Orville served in the Air Force training command. He was employed with North American Apollo Space program followed by a 25-year career as a State Farm Insurance Agent. He was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of the ABC Sunday School Class. He taught Sunday school classes and served on numerous church committees.
He enjoyed horses, boating, golfing, gardening, and most importantly his relationship with family and friends.
Orville was preceded in death by his parents, his son Gary, and 6 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Saunda Niblack; daughter, Tina Reddell and husband, Steve; two grandchildren, Leslie Reddell and Kyle Reddell; brother Gene Niblack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Orville's beautiful eyes and infectious smile will forever be missed!
Clayton Noble
Longtime Wewoka resident Clayton "Triclkman" Noble, age 90, passed away at his residence Tuesday, April 14, 2009.
Clayton was born November 8, 1918, in Wewoka, to William and Estella (Robinson) Noble.
Mr. Noble retired from the Construction business as laborer.
He was a member of Livingston Masonic Lodge #175, Wewoka and the Ocese Band. He served in the US Army from 1942 to 1945 during World War II receiving Three Bronze Service Stars, AP Theater Ribbon, WWII Victory Ribbon and American Theater Ribbon.
He married Thelma Jean Rodgers December 16, 1991, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death February 7, 2000.
He is also preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind his daughter, Izonia Smith; sons, Tyrone Noble, Carzell Brown, both of Wewoka, and Izonia Smith, of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Clayton believed Jesus was his Lord and Savior. He loved fishing, and never missed his basketball games. He loved football, rodeos, and playing dominoes. He loved his kids, grandkids, family, and will be truly missed by all.
Wake services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Johnson officiating.

Lucy Norman
Wewoka resident Lucy "Polly" Norman passed away Wednesday March 18, 2009, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years.
Lucy "Polly" Norman was born Sept. 18, 1923 in Troy, Oklahoma.
Polly served as an accountant for the International Dealer, in Seminole for twenty-one and half years, and later in the office of Southern Loan CO., in Wewoka until her retirement in late 2007.
She was a member of First Christian Church, of Wewoka. She chaired the Outreach Committee and served on the Baptism Services committee.
Most recently she served as Church Secretary and Office Manager.
She was a trustee, treasure and a Charter member of Wewoka Citizens Improvement League, of Wewoka, (CILOW) diligently working for the rejuvenation of T.B. Miller Park and The Wewoka Swimming Pool. She was a Charter member of Wewoka Cemeteries Association, serving on the committee where she was instrumental in the capital improvement projects Oakwood and Westwood.
She was also a charter member of the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center, a member of the Seminole Nation Museum, Oklahoma Historical Society and National Historical Society, a Sorghum Day volunteer. She served as chairman of the Folk Art and Quilt Show for several years.
She also served as Treasurer of the Band Boosters Club, Cub Scout Den Mother, PTA Secretary and Bluebird leader. She will be greatly missed by the Wewoka Community.
She is survived by her son, Robert G. Norman, of Oklahoma City; daughter, Candace D. Norman, of Tulsa; brother, W.M. McClendon, of Muskogee; two sisters, Ada Wadley, of Tulsa and Jane Thompson, of Humble, Texas.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, Gail Diane Norman; husband, Robert S. Norman; parents, Charles Wesley and Mattie (Reed) McClendon; and three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at First Christian Church, in Wewoka, with interment at Holdenville Cemetery.

Mollie Northern
Funeral services for Seminole resident Mollie Iola Northern are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
Rev. Roy Robertson will officiate.
Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Northern died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Seminole at the age of 84.
She was born to James B. Parsons and Lula Faye Boggs in Goul on November 15, 1924.
She married Ray Northern in Mesa, Ariz., on December 28, 1941.
The couple moved to Seminole 13 years ago from Arizona and were members of the Bowlegs Assembly of God.
Northern is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Wayne; and two grandsons, Woody and Kenny.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Northern, of the home; three sons, Olen Ray Northern of Alaska, Jimmy Leroy Northern of Arizona, and Clyde Pierce of Oklahoma; one daughter, Crystal Formica of Arizona; one brother, Leroy Lawson of Mounds; numerous grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Pierce, Robert Pierce, Randy "Joe" Houser, David Pierce, Jim Northern, and Jimmy Leroy Northern.
Honorary bearers are Olen Ray Northern, Sr., and Pete Formica.
