Graveside services for Seminole County resident Geneva Faye Rich are scheduled for 3 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2009 at Little Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Prague.
Rich died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in Earlsboro at the age of 75.
She was born to William Marion and Jipsie Levenia (Jones) Rich on January 29, 1934 in Ada.
She lived on her parents homeplace in Seminole County.
Rich is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Travis Baker of Ada, and Ronald Baker of Arlington, Texas; one sister, Esther Norman of Perry, and five grandchildren.
Delbert Richards
Funeral services for Maud native Delbert Lawton Richards are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Erin Springs Church of God.
Ralph Conkling and Bryan Archer will officiate with burial in the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay. Services are under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home of Maysville.
Richards died Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Lindsay Manor Nursing Home at the age of 82.
He was born to Noel Elgin and Annie Ryker Richards on June 3, 1927 in Maud.
Richards attended school and graduated from Maud High School.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII serving in Hawaii.
On April 28, 1945, he married Lula Mae Bryson.
Richards worked for Warren Petroleum/Chevron as a field supervisor for 38 years which took he and his family fro Maud to Holiday, Texas, and then to Lindsay in 1949.
Richards enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing, turkey hunting, fishing, and wolf hunting.
He is a member of the Erin Springs Church of God where he enjoyed being involved with music.
Richards was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Dee Richards; his daughter, Pam Richards Cooper; and one brother, T.C. "Chuck" Richards.
Survivors include: his wife of 64 years, Lula Mae Richards, Lindsay; one son, Tye Richards, Lindsay; daughters Carolyn Williams of Lindsay, and Rita Blackwell of Lexington; one brother, Lee Richards, Maud; sisters Ozeeta Dobson of Seminole and Treva Phipps of Madill; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Tava Robbins
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Tava Lonalee (Barnes) Ingram Robbins are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
Rev. Lonnie Hurst will officiate the service.
Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Robbins died Monday, August 31, 2009 in Austin, Texas at the age of 91.
She was born October 25, 1918 in Stewart to parents Jess Barnes and Nora (Beck) Barnes.
Robbins was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Lickliter of Honolulu, Hawaii, Loretta Morone of Lake Taho, California, Margie Shipley of Nipomo, California and Diana Breedlove Cash of Austin, Texas; one brother, Leanord Barnes of Tulsa; and several grandchildren,
Other survivors include several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family and dear friends.
Robbins is preceded in death by one son, Larry Ingram, Sr. who died in 1979 and the father of her children, William Ingram in 1982.
She is also preceded by her second husband Roy F. Robbins who died in 2000.
Richard Roberts
Wewoka resident Richard Lee Roberts, age, 62, died Friday, Dec. 18.
He was born Jan. 13, 1947, to Richard William and Emma Loren (Ward) Roberts.
He graduated from Wewoka High School in 1965, and later entered the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He fished and hunted.
He is survived by his brothers, Alvin Roberts, Harold Roberts, and Kevin Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Rosie.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at Oakwood Cemetery with Military Honors and Rev. Donnie Knight will be officiating.

Robert Roberts
Robert Eugene "Bob Roberts was born May 6, 1945, in Myrtle Point, Ore., to Harold and Wilma Roberts. He grew up in Oakdale, Calif., where he met and married Carlene Owens, in May of 1968.
Robert was a member of the National Guard. He was retired from the University of California, where he specialized in Agricultural Science.
Bob enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. Later in life Bob moved to Arroyo Grande, Calif., near his mother, where he worked for the city of San Louis O Bispo for several years.
In January of 2003, Bob moved to Oklahoma to retire near his oldest brother, Jerry. He passed away, in his home Dec. 27, 2008 at his home, in Seminole.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Wilma Roberts; and one sister, Nance Gianino.
Robert is survived by his sons, Tim Roberts, of Fresno, Calif., Brandon and wife Laura Roberts, and two grandsons, Brett and Ethan, all of Fillamook, Ore.; brothers, Jerold and Judy Roberts, of Seminole, William and Joan Roberts, Richard and Laura Roberts, and Tim and Joanne Roberts, all of Oakdale, Calif.; brother-in-law, Guy Gianino, of Richmond, Calif.; also multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, of California, Seminole, and Oklahoma.
Theresa Roberts
Former Seminole resident Theresa Pauline Howse Roberts, age 79, of Holdenville, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, in Oklahoma City.
She was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Yeager to Virgil Howse and Gussie Kay Howse. She graduated from Spaulding High School and on Aug. 9, 1947 married James Verl Roberts, in Holdenville. Together the couple owned and operated Robert’s IGA.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Holdenville General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Steve Roberts, of Sasakwa; daughter, Judy Kilpatrick, of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and sister, Joann Ofill, of Tucumcari, N.M.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Verl.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Holdenville’s First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Vida Roberts
Former Shawnee resident Vida Louise Roberts, age 90, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at the Seminole Nursing Center.
She was born October 4, 1918, in Adkins, Arkansas, to Steve and Mattie (Burris) Baker.
She married Verbon D. Roberts on December 23, 1939 in Paden, Oklahoma. He died May 21, 1997.
She was affiliated with East Gate Freewill Baptist Church and lived in Shawnee most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson and great-great granddaughter
She is survived by her children, Charlotte and Boise Ivey, of Houston, Texas, Dorothy and Michael Forth, of Earlsboro, Stephen D. Roberts; grandchildren, Rosalie Billnoski, Anita Rogers, of Channelview, Texas, Erin Crosby, of Edmond, Pamela Riley, of Edmond, Syndey Roberts, of McLean, Virginia, Stephanie, Roberts, of McLean, Virginia, Michael Roberts, of McLean, Virginia; 8 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at the Walker Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Waldo Young officiating.
Burial will be at the Tecumseh Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
Frances Robertson
Longtime Seminole resident Frances Elizabeth (Clifton) Robertson passed away Aug. 15, 2009, in Seminole, at the age of 91.
Frances was born on Aug. 10, 1918, in Earlsboro, Oklahoma, to Oren William and Nora Amanda (Vulgamore) Clifton.
Frances lived in Seminole, Oklahoma most of her life, except for a short time when she and her husband worked in the California shipyards. She always had interesting stories to tell her grandchildren about her days working as a women welder. They moved back home, purchased land and raised their family here.
She lived life to the fullest, serving in her church at Trinity Baptist, where she and her husband Rex were charter members. She also served many years in the school cafeteria, where she could be close to her children. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame at New Lima Public Schools, in July of 2000.
She loved her kids and grandkids, OU Sooners, and the Dallas Cowboys. She also loved to keep up with "Tiger Woods". She has touched lives through school, church and even during her sickness she brought happiness to the people who she lovingly cared for at Pioneer Nursing Home. Her sense of humor, her great laugh and her big smile will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter and son-in-law: Kay and Bobby Azlin, of Wewoka, Oklahoma and one sister Dora Moreland, of Wewoka, Oklahoma. She is also survived by two grandsons, Ronnie Robertson, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Cory Azlin, of Seminole, Oklahoma, four granddaughters; Kathy and husband Mike Hale of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kelye and husband Brian Ellison of Dallas, Texas, Kiley and husband Billy Adams, of Seminole, Oklahoma and Amanda and Jason Timberlake, of Seminole, Oklahoma. Great grandchildren; Josh, Jake and Lacy Robertson all, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jarrod and Nick Hale, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Reesee Ellison, of Dallas, Texas, Brittnee Dunlap, of Seminole, Oklahoma and Kyle Wells, of Seminole, Oklahoma, Seth Moppin of Seminole, Oklahoma and one great great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Ron Duvall officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, located East of Seminole on Hwy 270.
Pallbearers will be: Jirl McGinnis, Terry McGinnis, Dewey Lee, Bill Parsons, Chuck Anderson and Bill Wilson.
Patricia Robertson
Wewoka native Patricia Ann Robertson, passed this life Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the age of 78 years in Seminole Estate Nursing Home.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Coley Family Cemetery North of Wewoka with Don Parr officiating.
She was born Nov. 12, 1930 in Wewoka to Samuel Houston and Ina (Harjochee) Coley. She graduated from Haskell Indian Institute in Haskell.
Patricia married Thomas Lee Robertson on Aug. 29, 1950 in Van Buren, Arkansas and to this union two children were born Rhonda Robertson and Tod Robertson.
Pat loved collecting California Raisins, fishing, gardening, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She worked many years as a Teacher's Aide in the Wewoka School System.
Preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers Herbert, Leo and Richard Coley, and two sisters Karen Coley and Kaye Lynn Coley.
Survivors include her husband Thomas Lee Robertson of McAlester; daughter Rhonda and son Tod of Wewoka; three brothers, John Coley, Wewoka, Dave Coley, Seminole, and Jack Coley, of Wewoka; one sister Marilyn Hodge of Wewoka; grandchildren Peary Robertson and wife Angela of Seminole, Matthew Robertson and wife Melissa of Hawaii, Rachel Farris and husband Terry of Ponca City, Tommy Cunningham and wife Kelli of Norman, and Jody McDonald and husband Joe of Tecumseh; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Peary Robertson, Matthew Robertson, Tommy Cunningham, Tod Robertson, Coltan Coley, and Monty Coley.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Thomas, John Coley, Dave Coley, and Jack Coley.
