Ben Farland Reeves, age 80 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on Monday, March 22, 2010, at Wynnewood Care Center in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., on Friday, March 26, 2010, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, in Konawa, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery, in Konawa. Brandon Thomas will officiate and Bruce Crawford and Mark Reeves will assist.
Pallbearers are: Mark Stoup, Brandon Stoup, Mark Payne, Mark Porter, Dennis Isaacs, Chris Fixico, Ed Fixico, and Alan Akerman.
Honorary pallbearers are: Doyle Long, Forrest "Bud" Hatcher, Clifford "Shorty" Moore, Tony Lowry, Roger Harrod, Billy Akerman, Jack Huckleberry, and Bob Sanders.
Ben was born on August 28, 1929, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, to biological parents, Ethel Jewel (Reynolds) and Gordan Reeves. He married Lillian Reynolds, in Riverbank, California, on April 7, 1950.
Ben was a carpenter by trade. He lived in Konawa for the past thirty-five years, and he was a member of the Silas Missionary Baptist Church, in Konawa. Ben enjoyed playing and singing music and was a great family man who loved church and loved hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Reeves, of the home; two sons, Lon Allen Reeves and wife, Sheila, of Konawa, and Mark David Reeves and wife, Mona, also of Konawa; three daughters, Kathy Rennee Garcia and husband, John, of Merced, California, Marjorie Ann Ingram and husband, Ollie, of Konawa, and Carol Jean Steele and husband, Michael, of Harrah, Oklahoma; one brother, Tommy Reeves, of El Reno, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Jewel and Bill Fox; six infant grandchildren; his grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
Lon Reeves
Lon "Lonnie" Allen Reeves, age 59 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, died on Monday, June 2, 2010.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday, June 7th at Grace Community Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. Ed George will officiate and Drew Isaacs will assist.
Lonnie was born on February 9, 1951, in Oakdale California, to Ben F. Reeves and Lillian May (Reynolds) Reeves.
He graduated Riverbank High School in California, and he was in the Army National Guard. He later married Shelia (Ranells) on February 9, 2000, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was a tool-pusher and driller for the oilfield industry, and he roofed most of the Houses in Konawa. He lived in the Konawa area for thirty years. Lon enjoyed music, teaching music, and he most of all, he loved his family and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia Reeves of the home; two sons, Casey Allen Reeves of Escalon, California, and Jeremiah Lee Reeves of Santa Maria, California; one daughter, Carla Renee Reeves of Konawa, Oklahoma; his mother, Lillian Reeves of Konawa; one brother, Mark David Reeves of Konawa; three sisters, Kathy Garcia of Merced, California, Marjorie Ingram of Konawa, and Carol Steele of Jones, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Reeves on March 22, 2010; three children, Tara Denise Reeves and two stillborn babies, Lonnie Dean and Rena Renee Reeves; and one nephew, Aaron Ingram on May 13, 2010.
Honorary pallbearers are Beau Honsinger, Brandon Stoup, Monty Brazell, Johnny Jones, Mark Stoup, West Christopher, and Joe Mac Roberts.
Bobbie Regian
Bobbie Dee (Murry) Regian, 61, Seminole resident died on August 22, 2010 at Midwest City Regional Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born one of twelve children on October 7, 1948 in Modesto, California to parents Virgil Doyle Murry and Dorotha Jane (Peters) Murry.
Bobbie grew up in Tucson, Arizona and Modesto, California before later moving to Tuttle, Oklahoma where she graduated from High School. She married H.C. "Tony" Regian on June 7, 1966 they had two daughters, Lori and Debbie. She later married James "Red" Regian, Jr. on May 28, 2005 in Seminole.
Bobbie was baptized on Oct. 21, 1979 at Riverside Baptist Temple in Riverside, California. She recently worked as a C.N.A. at Parkland Manor Nursing Home in Prague, where took care of many people. As a teenager Bobbie worked at Don’s Drive-In.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband James "Red" Regian, Jr. of the home; one son, James Regian, III. of Seminole, four daughters, Lisa Belot of Yulee, Florida, Lori Smith of Seminole, Debbie Godwin of Wewoka, and Carol Ferguson of Washington State; five brothers, James, Bud, Buddy, Michael and Jerry Murry; three sisters, Tracy Lawrence, Rosie Faught and June Simons; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, she is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents; one sister; two brothers; her first husband, Tony Regian.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10 a.m., at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery with Thomas Smith officiating the service.
Visitation is scheduled at Swearingen Funeral Home for Thursday, August 26, 2010 and Friday, August 27, 2010 from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Casket Bearers will be: Thomas Smith, James Regian III., Anthony Regian, Adam Godwin, Stephen Godwin, Trevor Smith and Dakota Godwin.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Monnie Reich
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10am for Wewoka resident Monnie Jean Reich at Wewoka Church of Christ with Charlie Kymes and Aron Alsbrook officiating and interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Monnie Jean Barnes was born April 14, 1922 in Hughes County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edward Mack and Eva Smith Barnes. Monnie passed away March 30, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa at the age of 87 years.
Monnie was the 3rd of 5 children. Her early years were spent in Hughes County. She attended school at Pecan Grove, Yeager and graduated from New Lima High School. This must have been where her enthusiasm for sports was born. She often told fond stories of playing basketball for the New Lima Falcons. She was proud that she played along side her sister Hazel.
Monnie married Lee Matthew Reich on August 29, 1940 in Wewoka. They made Wewoka their home, but traveled to California when the boys were young, then later Lee followed oilfield and construction work and they traveled all over the United States. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to family. Her children and grandchildren filled her life with pride and joy.
Monnie had many jobs including Muirs Meat Packing Co., Seminole County Election Board, society editor at Wewoka Daily Times, and as secretary for Rudolph Hargrave. However, Monnie had only one vocation and that was to take care of Lee and the boys. She loved being a homemaker and sharing her home with all the extended family and friends. Monnie was proud of her grandchildren and took pleasure in attending many school events in which they participated. Monnie enjoyed spending time with her many friends playing dominoes or canasta and watching game shows on television. Monnie had a passion for cooking and remodeling houses. Sundays were not complete until the family and friends gathered at Monnie or Grandma Barnes’ home for lunch after church.
Monnie is preceded in death by her husband Lee, her parents and two brothers Carl Barnes and Darrell Barnes.
Survivors include 3 sons; Ronald Lee and wife Ruth, Wewoka, George Edward and wife Carol, Ponca City, and Jimmy Dale and wife Billye, Tulsa, 8 grandchildren; Becky Roberts, Holdenville, Ronda Reich, Roy Reich, Wewoka, Michael and wife Casey Reich, New Boston, Texas; Randy and wife Athena Reich, Brett and wife Kristin Reich, Joy Reich, Tracy and wife Nichole Reich all of Tulsa. 8 great grandchildren; Sebastian, Colby, Madison, Ty, Chase, Andrew, Alaina, Matthew and Nicholas, her sister Hazel Morphis, Wewoka, brother Leon and wife Alma Barnes Wewoka, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Albert and Mary Ellen Reich, Wewoka. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Pall Bearers will Michael Reich, Roy Reich, Randy Reich, Brett Reich, Tracy Reich and Randy Tingwald.

Lee Reid Jr.
Lee Waddy Reid, Jr., 64 year-old, Seminole resident died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in Seminole.
He was born May 13, 1946 in Bristow to parents Lee Waddy Reid, Sr. and Elizabeth "Joan" (Donaldson) Reid.
Reid had served in the United States Army.
He married Lorie Ann (Fleming) Reid on October 6, 2000 in Seminole.
Survivors include his mother, Joan Reid of Ranger, Texas; wife, Lorie Ann Reid of the home; two sons, Traerse Reid and Dillon Reid both of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Joe Reid of Pasadena, Maryland; five sisters, Lone Marie Barber of Phoenix, Arizona, Theresa Lynn Vigil of Dallas, Texas, Lona Jaline Taylor of Casper, Wyoming, Mary Lougene Olsen of Sioux City, South Dakota and Billie Jaye Young of Omaha, Nebraska; two grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends.
His father preceded Lee in death.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 5 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Cremation services will follow under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Howard Reynolds
Howard Lewis Reynolds, 82 year-old, Tecumseh resident passed from this life Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born October 3, 1927 in Stidham, Oklahoma to parents Lewis Stanton Reynolds and Ruby (Stephens) Reynolds.
Howard married Doris June Shafer on January 31, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas. He worked as a self-employed auto mechanic until his retirement. Together they had lived in Payson, Arizona before retuning to central Oklahoma six years ago. He attended the Bowlegs First Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Reynolds leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Doris June (Shafer) Reynolds; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Kathie Reynolds of Spencer, Oklahoma and Leslie Howard and Sherrie Reynolds of Asher, Oklahoma; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Richardson of Calvin, Oklahoma, Vickie and Glen Canfield of Bowlegs, Oklahoma and Sharon and Dennis Beringer of Yukon, Oklahoma; two brothers, Dale Glen Reynolds and Lewis "Jr." Reynolds, Jr. both of
El Reno, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ruby Helen Kuykendall of Nebraska, Pauline Elkins of Seminole, Oklahoma and Sue Moore of Yukon, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Reynolds is preceded in death by his parents and by two grandchildren, Leslie "Scott" Reynolds and Leslie "Kyle" Reynolds.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2010 at Bowlegs First Assembly of God Church located on Hwy 99 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Pastor Roy Robertson will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole.
Casket Bearers will be: Mark Reynolds, Justin Canfield, Nathan Reynolds, Travis Canfield, Sean Reynolds and Chance North.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Dennis Lee Reynolds, Leslie Howard Reynolds, Glen Canfield, Dennis Beringer and Jerry Richardson.

Lula Richards
Lula Mae Richards, 81, died on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Norman, Oklahoma. She was born a twin on January 1, 1929 at Harjo, to Harvey Anderson and Edna Marie (Hogan) Bryson.
Lula grew up in the Maud area. When she was nine years old, her father died and so her step-dad, James Brison raised her. On April 28, 1945, Lula married Delbert Richards.
In 1949 they moved to the Lindsay area where Delbert worked for Warren Petroleum. She was a homemaker and a self-employed beautician
Lula’s survivors include her son, Tye Sand Richards of Lindsay, daughters; Carolyn Mae Williams of Lindsay; and Rita Delette Blackwell of Lexington; brothers; Charles Wesley Brison and James Edward Brison; sisters: Wanda Jean Threet of Wellston and Harlene Ann Minnix of Tulsa;12 Grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert; daughter, Pamela Sue Cooper; son, Dee; a great grandchild, and her twin sister, Beulah Fay Minnix.
Rebecca Richards
Rebecca Ann Richards, 43, Wewoka, Oklahoma resident died, Thursday, July 22, 2010 at her home in Wewoka. Rebecca was born May 18, 1967 in Artesia, New Mexico to Jerry Lee and Betty Edwina (Lott) Smith.
Rebecca moved to Wewoka 13 years ago from Louisana. She was a homemaker. Rebecca loved to do many things, among them were fished, car racing and working in the pits.
Rebecca leaves to cherish her memories her parents; Jerry and Betty Smith of Bryant, three sons; Anthony Regian, Adam Godwin and Stephen Godwin all of Seminole, two daughters Leslie Driver of Wewoka, and Stephanie Ridge of Seminole, one brother Thomas Smith of Seminole, and two sisters; Mary Halpain of Perryton, Texas and Susan Godwin of Shawnee and four grandchildren.
She is also survived by her companion of 13 years Debbie Godwin.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Willard and Goldie Smith and Edwin and Betty Lott.
Memorial Services are planned for August 1, 2010 at 6 p.m. at Wintersmith Park Lodge at 1800 Wintersmith in Ada, Oklahoma.

Margaret Richardson
Margaret Ann "Peggy: Richardson died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010.
She was born Feb. 13, 1931, in Washington, DC, to George W. Singletary and Shiela O'Neal Singletary.
She married Jack Allen Richardson (formerly of Wewoka) Aug. 11, 1976, in Oklahoma City. She worked as legal secretary for Charles Shadid Attorney for number of years.
She is survived by her children, Shiela, Michael, Laura, Jack Allen, Kenneth, Teresa, Elaine, and Paula; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and sister, Sandy Hentschel.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Oakwood Cemetery, with Rev. Marvin Hays officiating.

Anna Riggs
Anna Lee Riggs was born in Milfay on August 14, 1929 and departed this life in Shawnee where she had lived the past three years on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the age of 80 years.
Anna was the daughter of Oddus J. and Georgia (Fisher) Skaggs. Anna was a long time resident of Milfay.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milfay, and worked in the Milfay School Cafeteria from 1963 until she retired in 1992.
Anna married Clyde Henry Riggs in Bristow on October 12, 1949.
He preceded her in death March 17, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Roland Skiggs and one sister, Juna Mae Marker.
Survivors include, one son, Henry Riggs of Shawnee; one daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Ed Rider of Shawnee; three grandchildren, Mandy McKay and Jay Johnson of Tecumseh, Myria and Gerald Hayslip of Oklahoma City, and Sunita and Mike Embrey of Oklahoma City; two great-grandchildren, Jax Keegan Johnson of Tecumseh, Jillian Michelle Embrey of Oklahoma City; and a host of Nieces and nephews, others relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel with Rev. Forrest Whitmore officiating.
Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
