Mr. Rosales died April 30, 2004, at his home. He was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Durango, Mexico, to Julian Padilla Munoz and Gabina Rosales. He came to this area in May 2002 from Waco, Texas. He was a construction worker and bricklayer. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He married Paula Medina in Durango, Mexico.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Padilla; seven children, Sabino Padilla and wife Paulina, Ada, Maricela Padilla and Jesus Velasquez, Ada, Jose Luis Padilla, Gerardo Padilla and Cecilia Taylor, Ada, Refugio Padilla and Maria Del Carmen Hernandez, Durango, Maria Del Carmen Padilla, Durango, and Gabriela Padilla and Javier Valles, Ada; one sister, Margarita Padilla; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Maria DeJesus.

KONAWA — Services for Ellen Olena Brewer Eberle, 78, Konawa, are 2 p.m. Friday at Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Chapel, Frank Brewer and Albert Lerma officiating. Burial follows at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Mrs. Eberle died May 4, 2004, at an Ada hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1925, at Konawa to William Homer and Ocie Ellen Moore Brewer.
She and Abe Eberle were married in Arkansas in 1956. He died July 2, 1979.
Mrs. Eberle moved to Konawa from California 29 years ago. She was a cook at Vamoosa Schools for more than 12 years, cooking for more than 200 kids. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Eberle was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Laura Marie Downey; and two brothers, W.H. and Ben Brewer.
Survivors include a foster son Albert Lerma and wife Linda, Santa Ana, Calif.; two brothers, R.C. Brewer, Sasakwa, and Frank Brewer and wife Gwen, Maud; three sisters, Lorene Cole, Shawnee, Dorothy Mullins, Ada, and Mary Mosley, Fresno, Calif.; and three foster grandchildren, Vanessa, Amanda and Scott Lerma, Santa Ana.
Bearers are Jimmy Foran, David Brewer, Mark Brewer, Kenny Brewer, Ronald and Steve Mullins, Rex and Homer Downey, Bruce and Doug Brewer, Mike Mosley, Randal Brewer, and Ruben and Roger Brewer.

Mrs. Green died May 5, 2004, at a local nursing facility. She was born Dec. 7, 1920, at Oklahoma City to James Irving and Helen Margaret Anderson McCauley.
She lived in this area all her life, attending Willard Elementary and graduating from Horace Mann High School.
She and Clifford Green were married June 2, 1938. He died Dec. 29, 1983.
Mrs. Green was a homemaker and a longtime member of First Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Carol Green, Aug. 25, 1960.
Survivors include a son, Jim Green and wife Jolene, Ada; two daughters, Jeri Bradley and husband David and Jeanie Asbury, all of Ada; six grandchildren, Leslie Scrivner, Kathy Caplinger, David Bradley, Robert Bradley, Jonathan Bradley and Brendan Green; and four great-grandchildren.
Bearers are grandsons, Brendan Green, Gary Caplinger, Scott Scrivner, David Bradley, Robert Bradley and Jonathan Bradley.

ADA — Services for Juanita Gertrude Johnson, 92, Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Rusty Fuller officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson died May 5, 2004, at an assisted living center at Ada. She was born Dec. 19, 1911, at McLoud to Lee and Pearl Rebecca Holder Wilson. She attended school in McLoud, graduating from McLoud High School.
She and Lester Earl Johnson married June 28, 1930. He died April 6, 1992, at Byng.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, an artist and a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church. She came to this area in the 1960's.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Carrol K. Johnson, July 16, 1997.
Survivors include a grandson, Beau Johnson and wife Mary, Denton, Texas; a granddaughter, Melinda Douglass and husband Terry, Siloam Springs, Ark.; and four great-grandchildren, Brenna Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Ivy Douglass and Deidre Douglass.
Bearers are Roger Burns, Ted Burns, Doyle Johnson, H. J. Johnson, Buddy Campbell and Milton Jackson.

ADA — Services for James Loran "Jim" Stafford, 69, Ada, are 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Dr. George Warren and Mike Cantrell officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Stafford died May 4, 2004, at his home. He was born July 31, 1934, at Pauls Valley to William Loran and Nellie Mae Bentley Stafford. He attended Ada schools, graduating from Ada High School in 1952. He also attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1957.
Mr. Stafford was a public relations and public communication professional for 43 years. He was the founder and president of National Association of Royalty Owners, headquartered in Ada, until his retirement in 2000.
He and Sandra Rollins were married in 1957.
Mr. Stafford was a founding member of the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board, and served on the board of the Easter Seals Foundation.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Stafford, of the home; a daughter, Lori S. Crowson and granddaughter, Diana Bentley Crowson, of the home; son, James Douglas Stafford and wife Lisa, Norman; granddaughter, Rebekah Marie Stafford; and grandsons, Paul Caplan Stafford and James Michael Stafford.
Bearers are Buddy Lollar, Jim Herndon, Don LaSalle, Frank Jaques, John Hedley and Bill Goodwin.
Honorary bearers are Lewis Lawson, Lynn Stevener, Raymond Wilcox, Patrick Cowan, Harry J. Schafer Jr., Frank Chitwood, Guy W. Logsdon and Robert Harden.

Mr. Johnson died May 04, 2004, at a local nursing facility. He was born March 3, 1925, at Steedman to Gipson and Julia Alexander Johnson. He attended school at Conway.
He was a farmer, rancher and attended Pentecostal and Methodist churches. He was also active in traditional Indian stomp dances.
Survivors include two sisters, Emily Johnson Dickerson, Ada, and Leona Seckinger and husband Wesley, Allen; a brother, Dale "Lee" Johnson, Ada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
