Mrs. Barrett died May 1, 2004. She was born Jan. 4, 1926, at Okmulgee, Okla., to Levi and Clara Ackley.
She attended the University of Oklahoma.
She lived in Fort Worth, Oklahoma City, Okla., Midland and Van before settling in Dallas in 1961. She was a member of Canterbury Book Club, Garden Key Study Club and Chi Omega Alumnae and Bible study groups.
Her husband, Jean Barrett, died in December 2000.
Survivors include three children, Jean M. Barrett Jr., Gregory Ackley Barrett and Michele Barrett McDermett; grandchildren, Austin Barrett and Blake Barrett, both of Boston, Mass., John Barrett, Jenny Barrett, Bonner McDermett and Megan McDermett, all of Dallas, Blake Barrett, Boston, Mass.; a sister, Mary Stover, Tulsa, Okla.; two nieces, Kathleen Law, Plano, and Vicki Crocker, Tulsa; and friends, Jean Lewis and Mary Gratz.

Mr. Kirkes died May 1, 2004, at Pauls Valley. He was born June 8, 1960, to Richard Taylor and Pauline Coffee Kirkes. He grew up in Wilburton and graduated from Wilburton High School.
He and Lisa Burrows were married May 16, 1980, at Fitzhugh.
Mr. Kirkes was employed at Basic Energy, Lindsay.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Kirkes, of the home; three daughters, Ashley, Jessyka and Alyssa Kirkes; his parents, Richard and Pauline Kirkes, Wilburton; and a brother, Lewis Kirkes, Wilburton.

Miss Lolli died May 1, 2004, at a Coalgate nursing facility. She was born Feb. 9, 1924, at Cottonwood to Victorio and Concetta Bellettini Lolli.
She attended school at Cottonwood and was a lifelong member of the Blessed Sacrement Catholic Church, Coalgate. She worked many years in area restaurants.

Mrs. McCraw died May 2, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 28, 1943, at Maud to Elvon Leroy "Bud and Vineta Faye Hulsey McGuire.
She was a longtime resident of the Konawa and Sacred Heart area and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Altar Society, Sacred Heart Cemetery Commission, volunteer at Asher Public School and a past member of Konawa School Board.
Mrs. McCraw received a bachelor's in elementary education from East Central University and taught school for many years. She was a bookkeeper, past owner of River Mist Convenience Store and Sooner Directional Drilling Company.
She and Robert "Jerry" McCraw were married July 11, 1963, in Ada.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vineta Faye McGuire.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry McCraw, of the home; three daughters, Carolyn Johnston, Konawa, Robbie Sanders, Konawa, and Ronda Jackson, Konawa; her father, Elvon Leroy "Bud" McGuire, Konawa; two brothers, James McGuire, Lexington, and Ronnie McGuire, Sanger, Texas; seven grandchildren, Robert, Jennifer and Jason Johnston, Julia and lee Jackson Paige and Shelby Sanders.
The family asks that donations in Mrs. McCraw's memory be made to Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund.

Mr. Taylor died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at a Norman hospital. He was born Dec. 10, 1950, in Ada to Melvin L. and Jackie L. Dietz Taylor. He lived in the Oklahoma City area for many years and graduated from Southeast High School. Mr. Taylor attended Metro-Tech School.
He was an electrician for Delta Electric.
Mr. Taylor married Diane Gootee on June 6, 1998. He was a Baptist and served in the U. S. Navy in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Taylor; three sons, Shane Taylor, Oklahoma City, Todd Taylor, Oklahoma City, and Johnathan Taylor, Moore; a stepson, DeWayne Gootee, Oklahoma City; his parents, Melvin and Jackie Taylor, Del City; two sisters, Christine Azar, Del City, and Tina Bookout, Temecula, Calif.; one brother, Tommy Taylor, Oklahoma City; one granddaughter; and two grandsons.

Mrs. Tipton died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at her home. She was born Dec. 20, 1938, in Sulphur to Curtis W. and Dollie Mae Stevens Harvey. She came to this area in July 1999 from Portland, Ore. She attended school at Imperial Beach, Calif. and graduated from Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas, in 1956.
She attended Draughns Business College in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mrs. Tipton was an insurance claims professional, retiring from Sedjwick Insurance in 1999 in Portland, Ore. She was also a homemaker.
She married Albert Mitchell Tipton on March 9, 1957, in San Diego, Calif.
Survivors include her husband, Albert "Mitch" Tipton, of the home; daughter, Lisa Tipton, Chicago, Ill.; a son, William Tipton and his wife Susan, McMinnville, Ore.; two sisters, Renee Carmichael, Ada, and Jimmie Ruth Lofton, Portland; four grandchildren, Sabrina Colleen Tipton, Jerry Peterson-Tipton, Samantha Peterson-Tipton and Amy Peterson-Tipton; a special friend, Cisco; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Welch died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1948, at Galey to Fred and Winona Rycroft Ward. She lived in this area all her life.
She attended school at Galey and Vanoss, graduating from Vanoss High School. She also attended East Central University.
Mrs. Welch was employed with Flex-N-Gate as a lab technician since 1976.
She married Thomas Fred Welch in 1968 at Pauls Valley.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Welch, of the home; two sons, Brian Welch, Tulsa, and John Welch and wife Paula, Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Kristi Welch, Ada; two grandchildren, Sara Welch and Stone Welch; eight sisters, Eileen, Judy, Martha, Pauline, Shirley, Glenda, Ramona and Nora; and four brothers, Weldon, Bill, Eddie and Tommy.
