Mrs. Chaney died April 30, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1941, at Ada to Willie Craig and Asalee Herrin Pollock. She attended school at Latta and lived in this area all her life.
She worked at Best Yet, Wrangler, Green’s Glass, and was a manager of Bargain-Mart. She was also a provider for the elderly.
Mrs. Chaney attended Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Keith Frye and Robbie Frye.
Survivors include her children, Stephanie Thomason and husband Jeff, Amy Chaney, Mike Frye and wife Angela, all of Ada, Linda Martin and husband Bob, Tomball, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Tina Frye, Ada; a brother, Craig Pollock and wife Dorothy, Ada; two sisters, Carolyn Goodman and husband Bill, and Debra Hatton, all of Ada; eight grandchildren, Jason Frye, Marsha Haines, Darlene Frye, Cory Groves, Brandon Frye, Aleisha Frye, Mandy Farmer and Matthew Frye; and five great-grandchildren, Hailey, Austin, Kara, Kyla and Kaetlynn.
Bearers are Jeff Thomason, Jason Frye, Chris Parker, Buck Haines, Bob Martin, and Mike Frye.
Honorary bearers are Cory Groves and Brandon Frye.

Ms. Atkeson died April 29, 2004, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Oct. 18, 1946, to Jim and Dora Barker Fowler. She lived in this area all her life and attended Vanoss school. She was a homemaker.
She married Gene Bishop in 1969 at Ada.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Bishop; three sons, Mike Parker, Jimmy Parker and Billy Bishop Jr., all of Ada; a daughter, Reta Thurman, Ada; her father, Jim “Red” Fowler, Ada; three sisters, Carla Sue Walker, Garland, Texas, Carla Guthrie, Francis, and Terry Woody, New Mexico; two brothers, Teddy Fowler and Eddie Fowler, both of Francis; seven grandchildren, Linda Humphreys, Michelle Marquette, Matthew Thurman, Amanda Humphreys, Heather Humphreys, Jennifer Parker and Justin Parker; and two great-grandchildren, Destiny Drinnon and Sandra Sue Drinnon.

Mr. McCause died April 30, 2004, at his home. He was born Aug. 16, 1933, at Connerville to Charley Claud and Bernice Lewis McCause. He attended school at Connerville and Tishomingo, as well as college at Waxahachie, Texas.
He was a retired minister and pastored Assembly of God churches from Alabama to Arizona for 50 years.
He married Alma Cupps. She died Dec. 9, 2000. He later married Dee Blackstock.
He was preceded in death by a son, Neal McCause.
Survivors include his wife, Dee McCause, of the home; three sons, Larry McCause, Felix McCause, both of Belen, N.M.; and Bruce McCause, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.; two daughters, Elaine Taul, Fort Worth, Texas, and Ruth Coulson, Deming, New Mexico; a step-daughter, Zane Lescalleet, Fort Wort; two sisters, Lillian Hamby, Oklahoma City, and Shirley Purkey, Tulsa; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Willoughby died April 30, 2004, at Ada. He was born on June 5, 1973, at Ada to Larry Don and Sandra Kay Douthitt Willoughby. He lived in this area all his life and attended school at Vanoss and Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech, Shawnee, where he received certification as an EMT.
He worked as a paramedic for Valley View Hospital Hughes County, Okmulgee County and Medicus Seminole.
He attended Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Kay Willoughby; and grandparents, Dub and Maxine Douthitt.
Survivors include his father, Larry Willoughby, Ada; a sister, Jeannie Willoughby, Ada; grandparents, J. R. and Corine Willoughby, Oil Center; and a nephew, Seth Mason, Ada.
Bearers are James Farris, Jeff Rollins, Michael Caton, Shad Moore, Tracey Oldham and Tony Willoughby.

Mr. Keever died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at a Midwest City hospital. He was born June 13, 1958, in Ada to Charles and Edna Clark Keever. He attended the Ada Schools.
Mr. Keever was a roofer and worked in general construction.
Survivors include a daughter, Miranda Keever, Ada; three brothers, Ron Keever, Galey, Steve Keever, Newalla and Scott McLish, Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Chuck Keever, and sister, Sharron Lancaster.
