HUGO, Okla. - Edith Dozier, 93, of Hugo, Okla., passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2004.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, in the chapel of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fort Towson Cemetery under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
Martha Williams
CLINTON, Okla. - Martha Williams, 79, of Clinton, Okla., died Sunday, March 28, 2004, after a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Okla., under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City
She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Jackson, Miss. She was a resident of Vernon most of her life and moved to Clinton in November 2003, as a resident of Grace Living Center. She was a devoted wife, caring mother and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Water and Lee Anna Jones; three sons, Issiac Williams, Jr., Gary Williams and Larry Williams and one sister, Mary Leeks.
She is survived by her husband, Issiac Williams; two sons, Thadus Jones of Germany and Lloyd Williams of Vernon; four daughters, Lee Ann Fuqua of Abilene, Ardie Williams of Burns Flat, Okla., Verbena Disbrow of Vernon and Sundena Brose of Elk City; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Jones of Washington and Walter “Bo” Jones of Paris; and two sisters, Esther Smith and LaNella Leeks, both of Paris.
If desired, memorials may be made to the diabetes foundation.
Harold Lee “Corky” Tittle
BOGATA - Harold Lee “Corky” Tittle, 75, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Red River County, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004, in Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, in Aikin Grove Baptist Church with his nephew, Johnny Tittle of Elkins, Ark., officiating. Interment will be Aikin Grove Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home of Bogata.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
He was born Nov. 21, 1928, in Red River County, the son of Zack and Elvis Wilburn Tittle. He was a retired painter and security guard. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Gene, Hershel, Wayne and Randle Tittle.
Survivors include two brothers, Darrell Tittle of Greenville and Gavin Tittle of Fort Worth.
Annie Frazier
HUGO, Okla. - Annie Frazier, 88, of Hugo, Okla., died Monday, May 31, 2004.
Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Jefferson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

HUGO, Okla. - Nathan Curtis Schulz, 22, of Soper, Okla., died Sunday, June 6, 2004.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, in Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel in Hugo, Okla., with the Rev. Tim Harless officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hugo under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
Carrie Beth Johnson
BOGATA - Carrie Beth Johnson, 78, formerly of Avery, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, at her home in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, in Avery Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Rice officiating. Wood Funeral Homes have charge of funeral arrangements.
She was born May 4, 1926, in Avery, the daughter of William Sidney and Cecilia Bird Burden. She married Dub Johnson in 1945. She had worked in banking and in her latter years for Wyatt’s Cafeteria.
She is survived by an uncle who helped raise her, Dick Burden of Deport, two daughters, Joni Land and husband, Gregory, and Jan Master and husband, Frank, all of Oklahoma City; a son, T.D. “John” Johnson and wife, Sherie, of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Caitlin and Hunter Land, D.J. Brown and wife, Jennifer, Stephanie and Lauren Brown.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at Miller & Miller Funeral Home chapel with Georgie Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Grant Cemetery in Grant, Okla., under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Hugo.
Noella Coker
HUGO, Okla. - Noella Coker, 62, of Hugo, Okla., passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Messer Cemetery in Hugo with the Rev. J.R. Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Messer Cemetery under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.

HAUGHTON, La. - Louise M. Cole, 97, passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Garden Court Nursing Center.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at First Baptist Church in Hugo, Okla.
Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo having charge of local arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Haughton, La., and from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo.
She was a wonderful cook, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and a godly Christian woman. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Oscar C. Cole; mother and stepfather, Kate and Walter Garner; sister, Velma Wilkins; brother, Lewis Garner; great-grandson, Andrew Forest Guilfoyle and daughter-in-law, Jean A. Cole.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Gene Cole of Tewsbury, Mass.; daughters, Billie Wood and husband, Harvey, of Bossier City, La., Mona Jo Linville and husband, Ray, of Duncan, Okla.; sister-in-law, Mildred Castleman of Hugo; grandchildren, Jerry and Ricky Wood, Vickie Warnock, Melissa Padgham, Melinda Guilfoyle, Randy Cole and Linda Grandfield; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks to the Corner Stone Hospital staff, to Life Path Hospice and to the nurses and staff of Garden Court Nursing Center.
