William Whyte
QUAPAW, Okla. - William L. Whyte, 57, 3101 South 670th Road, died at 9:17 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 1997, at Freeman Hospital West, Joplin, Mo., of natural causes.
Mr. Whyte was born Feb. 2, 1940, at Downey, Calif.
He moved in 1984 to Quapaw from Whittier, Calif.
He was a motorcycle technician.
He co-owned the Bikers Dream, Baxter Springs, Kan.
He served from 1957-1961 in the Air Force.
He was a member of A.B.A.T.E., American Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education.
He was assistant state director from 1978-1984 of the California Harley-Davidson Owners Association.
He married Jeanette Rose at Norwalk, Calif.
She preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Mark Whyte, of the home; two daughters, Vickie Skoda and Cindy Whyte, both of Grants Pass, Ore.; a brother, Larry Whyte, Santa Rosa, Calif.; a sister, JoAnn Saccomando, Newport Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending with Abbott Funeral Home, Baxter Springs.
Bobbie Enyart
WYANDOTTE, Okla. - Bobbie Joe Enyart, 33, Wyandotte route 2, was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 1997, at Miami Baptist Regional Health Center after a car accident on Highway 10, east of Miami.
Mr. Enyart was born Sept. 17, 1963, at Miami.
He was a lifetime area resident.
He worked for the La-Z-Boy Manufacturing Co., Neosho, Mo., for 14 years.
He was a member of Set Free Ministries, Wyandotte.
He graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1981.
He graduated from Afton Vo-Tech School in 1991.
He coached Little League, football, and baseball at Wyandotte.
He participated in jail ministries for eight years at Ottawa County Jail.
He married Shellie Rickman in July 1982, at Wyandotte.
She survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Caleb Michael Enyart, and Joshua Aaron Enyart, both of the home; his parents, Bud and Darlene Enyart, Wyandotte; a brother, Don DeWayne Enyart, Joplin; a sister, Kimberly Harnar, Seneca, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Burl Pasley, Miami; paternal grandmother, Vergie Enyart, Miami.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God church, Miami.
The Rev. Gary Rhodes and the Rev. Larry Convirs will officiate.
Burial will be in Seneca Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry McCorkle, Mark Buzzard, Scott Cole, Gary Drake, Gary Wyrick and Roger Chester.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Picher.
Angela Enyart
WYANDOTTE, Okla. - Angela June Enyart, 7, Wyandotte, was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 1997, at Miami Baptist Regional Medical Center after a car accident.
Miss Enyart was born June 21, 1989, at Joplin.
She was a second-grade student at Wyandotte Elementary School.
She was a member of Set Free Ministries, Wyandotte.
She was involved in gymnastics at Olympic World, Joplin.
She was involved in the dance review at NEO A&M; College, Miami.
Survivors include her mother, Shellie Enyart, Wyandotte; two brothers, Caleb Michael Enyart and Joshua Aaron Enyart, of the home; paternal grandparents, Bud and Darlene Enyart, and maternal grandparents, Steve and Patty Rickman, all of Wyandotte; a step-grandmother, Wanda Gregory, Eureka Springs, Ark.; great-grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowrey, Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Burl Pasley, Miami and. Vergie Enyart, Miami.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God church, Miami.

Bryant Logan
PICHER, Okla. - Bryant L. Logan, 35, Picher, died at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 1997, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, after a sudden illness.
Mr. Logan was born June 17, 1961, at San Diego, Calif.
He graduated from Escondido (Calif.) High School in 1979, where he lettered in wrestling and football.
He moved from Escondido to Picher in 1986.
He worked at Miami Baptist Regional Health Center as a printing press operator.
He was a member of United in Christ Church, Picher.
He married Karen D. Bryant on June 8, 1982, at Miami, Okla.
She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Aaron Logan, Sand Springs, Idaho; three stepdaughters, Angela Freeman, Columbus, Ohio, Jodana Freeman and Rebecca Freeman, both of Miami; his mother, Thelma Logan, Picher; a brother, Fred Logan, Commerce, Okla.; a sister, April Hancock, Escondido; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jackson, Miami.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Picher, with the Rev. Charles Clevenger and the Rev. Clifton Redden officiating.
Burial will be in GAR Cemetery, Miami.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Davis, Johnny Johnson, Mark Johnson, Louie Bell, Kenny Ball and Joe Waldon.

Mack Smith
JAY, Okla. - Mack A. Smith, 87, Jay, died Saturday, May 31, 1997, at Grove General Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Smith was born June 28, 1909, at Vinita.
He was a former employee of DuPont Chemical Company, working as a millwright. He retired in 1971.
He was a member of Central Christian Center, Joplin, Mo., and the Masonic Lodge in Joplin.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
He married Bessie M. "Kitty" Griechen on Feb. 17, 1951 at Reno, Nev. She survives.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at the family residence in Jay, with Paul Thomson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay.
Joseph V. Olds
COMMERCE, Okla. - Joseph V. Olds, 84, 319 S. Cherry St., died at 2:40 a.m. Monday, June 2, 1997, at Baptist Regional Health Center, Miami, after an illness.
Mr. Olds was born July 26, 1912, in rural Miami.
He had lived in the Miami-Commerce area all of his life.
He was employed by Eagle-Picher Mining Co., and White Trucking Co.
He worked 20 years as a maintenance mechanic at B.F. Goodrich, Miami.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Commerce, and the Tulsa Scottish Rite.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Commerce.
He married Dolly Fell on May 12, 1933, at Miami.
She died Oct. 21, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Joe Don Olds, Commerce; two daughters, Margaret Adelide McCord and Linda Ruth Prater, both of rural Miami; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Commerce.
The Rev. Larry Moore and the Rev. Clyde Stilley will officiate.
Burial, under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami, will be in GAR Cemetery, Miami.
Pallbearers will be Merle Smith, Jay Woods, Joe Trinkle, Bill Turner, Art Robertson and Gerald Moudy.

Ellis Bryant
WYANDOTTE, Okla. - Ellis T. Bryant, 85, died at 2:48 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998, at Baptist Regional Health Center, Miami, after an illness.
Mr. Bryant was born July 1, 1912, in Stone County, Mo.
He had been a lifetime resident of the Wyandotte and Seneca, Mo. areas.
He was a member of the Seneca Assembly of God Church and worked at the Milnot Co., Seneca, retiring in 1974.
He married Alma Spear on Dec. 14, 1934, at Seneca.
She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, David Ellis Bryant, Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Shirley June Brown and Betty Joyce Breisch, both of Sand Springs, Ark., and Kathy Sue Cunningham, Diamond; three sisters, Bessie Deal, Wyandotte, Jessie Costilow, Lamont, Calif., and Bertha Morris, Bakersville, Calif., six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Seneca Assembly of God Church.
The Rev. Ernest Friend and the Rev. Denny Sikes will officiate.
Burial will be in Seneca Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Convirs, Lester Convirs, Larry Convirs, Truman Baughn, Kenny Perse and Charles Lofland.
