Mrs. Wood died Sept. 15, 2004, at Stratford. She was born July 21, 1937, in Bromide to Jessie Andrew and Beulah Mae Adams Allen.
She was a cook at Calloway Nursing Home and lived in Stratford for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Beulah Allen; two brothers, J.P. and James Benson Allen, and a sister, Mary Kobble.
Survivors include three sons, Andy Teachey and wife and Kim, Jimmy Wood and wife Christi, and John Wood and wife Terri, all of Stratford; a daughter, Donita Hickman and husband Lance, Shawnee; a sister, Georgia Mae Hamersley and husband Doil, Ratliff City; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Bearers are Tom Allen, Gene Allen, Perry Allen, Brian Allen, Ronnie Kobble, Lyle Perryman, Kyle Perryman and Kevin Perryman.

Mrs. Lancaster died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at her home. She was born Dec. 9, 1918, at Sasakwa, to Roy “Babe” Doolen and Ruby Hudson Doolen. She attended school at Rocky Point and Vamoosa. She was the head cook at Willard School and also the Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
She married Marion Albert Lancaster Dec. 30, 1937. He died June 1, 1988.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Lancaster and his wife Jean, Ada; and Chuck Lancaster and his wife Linda, of Ada; one daughter, Connie Tweedy and her husband Bob, Ada; two sisters, JoAnn Rodgers, Ada; and Janice Ross, Fort Gibson; five grandchildren, Thresa Harris, Steve Lancaster, Adrianna Lancaster and her husband R. D. Doyle, Tiffany Frye and her husband Cody Frye, Kyra Lancaster and Katy Lancaster; and four great grandchildren, Jayci Harris, Kase Harris, Alec Lancaster and Colton Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jesse “Son” Doolen, Andrew Jackson “A. J.” Doolen and Roy Dean Doolen, and two sisters, Naomi Davis and Dealtha Stafford.

Mrs. Epley died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1909, at Byng to Joe Dowd Walker and Sarah Lennis Ridge Walker. She attended school at Byng where she played basketball for Bertha Frank Teague. She was employed at Loose-Wile’s Biscuit Company during World War II, and later worked as a waitress and in a cafeteria. She was also a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
She married Roy Epley July 10, 1969. He died Feb. 16, 1986. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Edward Rosewitz, in 1996.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Bragdon, Oklahoma City; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Thomas Rosewitz, Boston, Mass.; one sister, Mildred Eldora Cheshire, Oklahoma City; one brother, Alvin D. PONCA CITY — A memorial service for Robert Perry “Bob” Whiting, 77, Ponca City, was Sept. 11, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel, Ponca City, the Rev. Doug Thatcher officiated.
Mr. Whiting died Sept. 8, 2004. He was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Ponca City to Perry and Liska Hunter Whiting.
He attended Ponca City schools and graduated in 1944. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to the end of World War II in 1945. He later attended Oklahoma State University where he earned an engineering degree and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
He married Barbara Jeanne Rose Oct. 24, 1954.
Mr. Whiting lived in Ponca City and owned and operated Whiting Furniture with his father, Perry Whiting, for more than 40 years. He was a member of Ponca City PrimeTimers, Elks Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1201 and American Legion-Huff Minor Post 14. He served as an usher for St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, where he was a longtime member.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of the home; four sons, Michael and wife Patty Whiting of Fort Smith, Ark., Randy Whiting of Springdale, Ark.; Dan Whiting of Brea, Calif.; Rick “Bubba” Whiting and wife Dianne of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Kathryn Whiting Pepper and nephew Garner Lee Pepper of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Paula Kay Green and husband Tim Green of Ada; a niece, Kelly Maloy and husband Jeff and children Patrick, Molly, Christian and Matt Maloy of Ada; and many friends and associates.

Mrs. Allen died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at her home. She was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Ada, to Henry and Audrey Bray Sweeney. She lived in Ada all her life. She attended grade school at Irving and high school at Ada High School. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness church.
She married J.C. Allen in Haskell, Texas. He died Nov. 13, 1983.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Jerry Lynn Moore and husband Jerry, Ada, and Ruthie Barrett and husband Donnie, Ada; three sons, Dr. Frederick Earnest Lamport Jr., Tulsa; J.C. Allen Jr. and wife Marcia, of the home; and Kevin Don Allen, Ada; one sister, Betty Ruth Wininger, California; one brother, Jimmy Ray Sweeney, Sullivan, Indiana; 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Rita McIntosh on March 20, 1984, and Martha Allen on Jan. 29, 1969; one brother, Henry “Buzz” Sweeney Jr. and one sister, Helen Bohannan.
Bearers are Steven Guinn, Frederick Earnest Lamport III, Ben McIntosh Jr., Shannon Barrett, Jay Carl Allen III and Carl Guinn. Honorary bearers are Michael Guinn, Scott Moore, Chris Barrett, Danny Barrett and Jimmy Allen.
