ADA — Services for Raymond Walter Owens, 86, Ada, are 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Owens died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at his home. He was born Nov. 25, 1918, at Beebe, Oklahoma to Walter and Minnie Francis Noel Owens. He attended Byng schools.
Mr. Owens married Myrta Ruth Prechtl Aug. 6, 1943, in New Castle, Colo. He was a custodian for the First National Bank, retiring in 1980 with 18 years of service. Mr. Owens was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Myrta Ruth Owens, of the home; three sons, Lindle Owens, Phoenix, Ariz., Robert Owens, Mounds, and Chris Owens, Ada; four grandsons, Mike Owens, Mark Owens, Robert Owens Jr. and Daryle Owens; three granddaughters, Shelby Owens, Kailee Owens and Tarah Owens; two great- grandsons and one great- granddaughter; a brother, Glen Owens, Ada; and a sister, Loretta Blankenship, Ada. He was preceded in death by a son, Delbert Owens.
Bearers will be Marvin Lee, Howard Wilburn, Buck Owens, Boyd Pittman, Stewart Johnson and Ed Britt.

MIDWEST CITY — Services for Thomas E. Teachey, 66, Midwest City, are 1 p.m. today at Pickard Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Lewis Perry and John Wood officiating.
Mr. Teachey died Dec. 1, 2004, at Oklahoma City. He was born Jan. 4, 1938, at Watha, N.C., to Herman Carlton and Minnie Horrell Teachey. He had lived at Midwest City for 47 years.
He retired as a technical sergeant at Tinker Air Force Base after a 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Allen Teachey; and a sister, Pansy Estelle Thompson.
Survivors include two sons, Andy Teachey and wife Kim, Stratford, and Chris Teachey and wife Chasity, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Donita Heckman and husband Lance, Shawnee; four brothers, three sisters; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

STRATFORD — Graveside services for Rex Gray, 57, Stratford, were Tuesday at the McGee Cemetery in Stratford, the Rev. William Bratcher officiated.
Mr. Gray died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at a local nursing home. He was born Dec. 28, 1946, at Stratford to James Barney and Myrtle May Mercer Gray. He was a lifelong resident of Stratford and attended Stratford schools.
Mr. Gray was a tractor mechanic and attended Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include five brothers, Gus Gray, Joe Gray,Jake Gray and G.R. Gray, all of Stratford, and Baxter Gray and wife Patsy, Stratford; a sister, Bess Swallow, Stratford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, J. B. Gray, Jr. and George Gray.
Bearers were Gary Gray, Maurice Willis, Ronnie Cook, Calvin Wood, Doug Chandler and R. B. Archer.

Mrs. Johnson died Nov. 28, 2004, at Wynnewood. She was born May 17, 1914, at Shiloh, Ark., to John Henry and Emilie Adline Cothren. She moved with her family to the Byars/Stratford area in 1922. She attended Cottonwood School.
She married Glen Johnson in 1932. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lucielle Balderson, and a granddaughter, Sherri Johnson.
She lived in the Vanoss community for several years. They moved to Tucson, Ariz., in April 1956, where they owned and managed a cafe for many years. She returned to Wynnewood in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, George Carroll Johnson and Charlie Ray Johnson, both of Wynnewood; a sister, Julia Kifer, Ada; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

STONEWALL — Services for Leldon Jackson Miller, 78, Stonewall, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Ben Husted will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Masonic rites will be conducted at the grave site.
Mr. Miller died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at an Ardmore hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1926, at Allen to Rowe and Emily Tucker Miller.
He graduated from Stonewall High School.
Mr. Miller was employed with Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., and later with Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, Texas, retiring after 35 years of service. After his retirement, he moved to Owl Creek to farm. Mr. Miller was a 32nd degree Mason and Present Master, member of the Stonewall Bright Star Lodge 113 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Scottish Rite and also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1944-1946.
Survivors include three nephews, Hal Sliger, Allen, Rick Sliger, Byng, and Jack Hamilton, Seminole; two nieces, Lisa Groves, Byng, and Gela Peterson, Byng; 13 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Laverne Sliger in March, 1998.
Bearers will be Steve Groves, Pete Peterson, Ron Green, Justin Groves, Jonathon Groves and Matthew Groves. Honorary bearers will be members of the Stonewall Bright Star Lodge 113 A. F. & A. M.
