ADA — Graveside services for Jolene Massey Rowe, 78, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Tupelo, the Rev. Carl Hayes will officiate.
Mrs. Rowe died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 5, 1926, near Chickasha to Clyde and Oma Marie Gregory Massey. She moved to the Tupelo area as a youth and attended Tupelo schools.
Mrs. Rowe was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Ronney Rowe, Palacios, Texas; a daughter, Marilyn Harper and her husband Hollis, Oklahoma City; her mother, Oma Gregory Massey, Ada; four grandchildren, Debbie Loving, Blanchard, Kenneth Rowe, Norman, James Harper, New York, N.Y., and Jana Warren of Macon, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren, Chad Wood, Riley and Ryen Rowe, and Emma Warren; and five cousins.

Mrs. Orr died Aug.11, 2005, at Ada. She was born Nov. 26, 1957, at Wichita, Kan., to Jimmy R. Mills and Eululia Rogers Mills. She was raised at Booneville and Ft. Smith, Ark., and attended school at Booneville, Greenwood and Ft. Smith. In 1980 she married Alvin Lee Orr at Van Buren, Ark., and the couple made their home at Ada.
She worked as a seamstress for Rock Mount.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Ray Mills; and her grandparents, Archie and Rowena Mills and Willie Martin Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin, of the home; children, Amber Orr, Ada, Scotty Orr and wife Juanita, Seminole, and Shawna Jackson and husband Chris, Cache; her mother, Eululia Mills, Ft. Smith; her grandmother, Onedia Rogers; her grandchildren, Taylor Orr, Kayla Orr, Breley Orr, Allison Warren, Brent Stone and Chyleaha Stone; brothers and sisters: Sandy and Moore and husband Gene, and Howe, and Peggy Allard, Ft. Mrs. Wilkins died Aug. 10, 2005, at Ada. She was born May 28, 1924, at Nowata, to Christian William and Gertrude Mason Willerton. She graduated from Three Sands High School in 1940, and attended Northern Junior College, Tonkawa. She was a longtime resident of the Ada area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Morris Memorial Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Roy Willerton, Russell Willerton and Calvin Willerton; and one sister, Juanita Sledge.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd L. Wilkins, of the home; one son, Melvin Eugene Wilkins, Newalla; one daughter, Karen Elaine Alexander, Fairland; one brother, Kenneth Willerton; three sisters, Velda Miller, Phillis Ricketts and Margaret Tautfest; two grandsons, Jay Alexander and Jordan Alexander; and one granddaughter, Jill Alexander.

Mrs. Cassady died Aug. 10, 2005, at Choctaw. She was born Oct. 27, 2005, at Scottsdale, Ky., to William Thomas Richey and Cynthia Nan Elizabeth Williams Richey. She married Albert Lesley Cassady February of 1947, at Sulphur. He died January of 1987.
Mrs. Cassady was a longtime resident of Ada, was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Lorenzi Richey; and two sisters, Ina Haines and Gertie Summers.
Survivors include one son, William D. Floyd and wife Nancy, Ada; one daughter, Bertha Duncan and husband Buddy, Choctaw; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers are David Duncan Sr., David Duncan Jr., Jim Gray, John Odom, Steven Floyd and Mack Summer.

Mrs. Nelson died Aug. 9, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 19, 1957, at Talihina, to James “Cubby” and Juanita Brown Walker. She lived in this area all her life and attended Allen schools.
She married Cecil Nelson. Mrs. Nelson was a cook at the Chickasaw Nation Senior Citizens Center for nine years. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Maud.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Walker.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Nelson, of the home; three brothers, Bobby Walker and wife Debbie, Johnny Walker, all of Kullihoma, and Kenneth Walker and wife Regina, Ada; one sister, Linda Daggs, Seminole; five nieces, Denice Daggs, Darla Daggs, Jamie Walker, Tajuna Baker and Taylor Boolin; and two nephews, Justin Boolin and Jeremy Boolin.

Mr. Hurst died Aug. 8, 2005, at a Fayetteville, Ark., hospital. He was born June 23, 1944, in Ada to Jimmy B. Hurst Sr. and Marguerite Townsend Hurst.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.

KONAWA — Services for Karl E. Raper, 70, Konawa, are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Konawa Church of Christ, Richard Winters officiating.
Mr. Raper died Aug. 8, 2005, at an Ada hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1934, at Konawa, to Clarence Raper and Mae Walker Raper. He married Carolyn Jolly Jan. 20, 1963, at Chandler. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher, and was also an oilwell pumper.
Mr. Raper served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Germany. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M, Stillwater, with a degree in agronomy, he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, a former member of the Seminole County Fair Board and the Oklahoma State Fair Board, a former member of the Konawa School Board and the Oklahoma State School Board and a member of the Soil Conservation Board and DAV.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harold Raper, June 2, 2005; and two sisters, Sue Ellen Raper and an infant sister.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Raper, of the home; two daughters, Camille Ellen Howard and husband Richard, Ada, and Gayla Ann Barrick and husband Damon, Ponca City; one son, Blake Edward Raper and wife Kellie, Leslie, Mich.; one sister, Cheryl Akin and husband Gary, Moore; seven grandchildren, Reese Howard, Cayden Howard, both of Ada, Kyle Barrick, Gage Barrick, Riley Barrick, all of Ponca City, Brendan Raper and Kaylyn Raper, Leslie, Mich.; two uncles, T.E.
