Funeral services for Ko- nawa resident Sheena Danea' Booth are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa with Rev. Drew Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa. Sheena, 20, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006 at Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born on Aug. 27, 1986 in Ada to Randy Wayne Hammack and Sheri Renee Nunley. She graduated from Konawa High School in 2005 and tutored fellow classmates while in school. She was a more complete young lady that has ever graced this world. Sheena brought more joy and insight to the lives of all who knew her than could ever be put in words. Sheena had the courage of a warrior, the humility of a missionary and the gracefulness of a dove. We will all miss you Sheena, and we love you all the way to the constellation Lira, already an angel. Her father, Randy Hammack; her grandfather, Bob Hammack and two great-grandfathers, Jack Sharber and Josh Nunley preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Sheri Renee Nunley of Konawa; her father, Mark Booth of Norman; stepfather, Tony Taylor; grandparents, Susi and Albert Nunley of Stigler, Grace Hammack of Maine and Elaine Mann of Aurora, Colo.; great-grandparents, Maxine Sharber of Konawa and Delphia Nunley of Ada; two brothers, Brodie Rope Booth and Brady Jack Booth of Konawa; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Sharber, Johnny Sharber, Jason Nunley, Brodie Booth, Brady Booth and Kyle Porter.

Funeral services for Seminole resident Dorothy June Loving are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Bruce Benson will officiate with interment to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole. Loving, 55, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006 at her home in Seminole. She was born Dec. 2, 1948 in Cove, Ark. to parents, Ruby Jewel (Arthur) and Delton Lawrence Brock. She was a homemaker who moved to Seminole in 1978 from Oklahoma City, and was of the Baptist faith. On July 18, 1991 she married Edward Earl Loving in Seminole. He survives her of the home. Other survivors include her mother, Ruby Jewel Bemo of Seminole; one son, Robert Thomas Reed, Jr. of Newalla; one daughter, Lana Jo Tipton of Choctaw; three step-sons, Shane Hester of Seminole, Jeremy Loving of Oregon and Edward A. Loving of Rush Springs; one step-daughter, Alisha Loving of Kansas; one brother, Delton Dewayne Brock of Seminole; one sister, Norma Jo Benedict of Yukon; nine grandchildren and one on the way and two great grandchildren with two on the way. Her father, one daughter, Myra Lee Locust and one brother Haskel Thomas Brock preceded her in death. Casket bearers will be Richard Could, James Kolander, John Wood, Robert Reed, Mica Tipton, James Carson Jenkins, Jr. and Carl C. McMillion.
George Dawson
Funeral services for former Seminole resident George Winfrey Dawson were held on Sept. 29, 2006 in Long Beach, Calif. Dawson, 81, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006 at his home in Long Beach, Calif. He was born May 3, 1925 in Tulsa to Guiles and Rita Dawson. He was a graduate of Seminole High School who was employed for many years at Gateway Termite Company. Dawson was a gifted floral designer and enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. His wife of 37 years, Harriet, preceded him in death. Surviving are sons, George Kent Dawson, Guiles Keith Dawson and Steve Clement; daughters, Paula Dawson and Donna Breslin; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Robert Honsinger
Funeral services for lifelong Konawa resident Robert Stanley "Ace" Honsinger are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Vamoosa Baptist Church with Kevin Duck officiating. Interment is to follow at Vamoosa Cemetery in Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa. Honsinger, 66, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006 at Ada retirement Center. He was born on Feb. 5, 1940 in Vanoss to Benny and Thelma Pearl (Hunt) Lehman. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge on Jan. 31, 1965. Honsinger worked as a driller in the area oilfields and was a member of Vamoosa Baptist church. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed music. He was very proud of his hole-in-one at an Ada golf course. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his three sons, Bo Honsinger and Robert B. Honsinger, both of Konawa and Stanley "Bush" Honsinger of Sasakwa; two sisters, Zelma McCraw of Konawa and Rita Graham of Calhoun, Ill. and seven grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce McCraw, Kelly Neely, Duane Brock, Clint Hanks, Stephen Palmer and Denver Palmer. Honorary bearers will be Tony Wolf, T.J. Wolf, Kenny Bennett, Chris Honsinger, Corey Fixico, Travis Honsinger and Ray Trapp.
Gilbert Foster
Services for lifelong Seminole resident Gilbert Ray "Gib" Foster were held today at 2 p.m. at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel. The burial followed at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Foster, 85, died Saturday. He was born Oct. 28, 1920 in Earlsboro to William McCain and Susie Lucille (Presley) Foster. He married Alice (Pharr) Foster Dec. 25, 1941 in Seminole. Foster served in the United States Army during WWII. He began working at the Seminole Bakery, then ran a chicken route. Foster worked for Modern Appliance, then owned and operated Foster Refrigeration in Seminole during the early 1950s. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 204, serving 18 years as a finance officer and four years as a commander. After retirement in 1979, Foster played golf. He volunteered for the American Legion for 35 years. His wife of the home, and three daughters, Cynthia Easter of Sand Springs, Shirly Nelson of Oklahoma City, and Patricia of Seminole survives Foster. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Garlin Lee Cheatwood
Graveside services for longtime Maud resident Garlin Lee Cheatwood are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at Fairview Cemetery, near Maud. Rev. Wayne Taylor is set to officiate, under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud. Cheatwood died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, in Shawnee, at the age of 77. He was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Corbett, to Clarence William Cheatwood and Dora Mae (Willimette) Cheatwood. Cheatwood married Dovie (Cooley) Cheatwood on July 20, 1950, in Lexington. He was self-employed, in the construction business. Cheatwood was a longtime Maud resident, having moved there from Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Grace Carr; and four brothers, Bodie Cheatwood, Roy Cheatwood, Darrell Cheatwood, and Joe Cheatwood. Cheatwood is survived by his wife, Dovie, of the home; two sons, Garlin Dale Cheatwood of Edmond and Kenneth Cheatwood of Meeker; five daughters, Mary Goodgion of Tecumseh, Dorothy Wallace of Maud, Beverly Sanford of Holdenville, Belinda Cheatwood of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Janna Wallace of Maud; three brothers, Charlie Cheatwood of Lexington, Melvin Cheatwood of Lexington, and Lewis Cheatwood of Shawnee; one sister, Mabel Currie, of Purcell; 26 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services for Maud resident Jolene Ann Householder are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Cummings Cemetery. Steve Martin will officiate; burial will be under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud. Householder died Monday at her home in Maud at the age of 64. She was born May 29, 1942, in Clay Center, Kans., to Ray and Jean (Hillman) Gebhardt. She moved to Maud 15 years ago from Sulphur. She was a homemaker and had worked as a substitute teacher at Sulphur Schools. She was a member of Good Hope Road Church of Christ in Seminole, and was a member of the Magic Brush Art Club in Ada. She served as a leader with the Girl Scout Sooner Council in Sulphur. She married Clifford David Householder, who survives her of the home. Other survivors include her father of Clay Center; one son, Robert Householder, Maud; three daughters, Julie Morris, Oklahoma City, Sheryl Dewitt, Mesa, Ariz., and Deanna Panio, Yorktown Heights, NY; two sisters, Carlene Taylor and Goldie Bruebaker, both of Kansas; and two grandchildren. may

Private family services for Konawa resident Roger Dale Porter will be held at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa. Porter, 55, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006 at his residence. He was born Dec. 1, 1950 in Oklahoma City to Delbert and Bell Victoria "Pruitt" Porter. He was a retired mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. His parents, two brothers, L.D. and Eugene Porter and two sisters, Geraldine Porter and Shirilan Foreman preceded him in death. Surviving is one brother, Kenneth Lee Porter of Elk City and four sisters, Joyce Porter of Brooksville, Wanda Atkinson of Muskogee, Loveta Barnett of Amarillo, Texas and Juanita Moore of Chickasha.

Graveside services for Wewoka resident Pamela Ann Lawson are scheduled for Wednesday, with visitors to gather at the family home on Seran Drive from 3 p.m. onwards. Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka. Pamela Ann Lawson died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006 after a lengthy illness. Born to D.T. Lawson and Helen Douglas Lawson in 1952. Pam was a graduate of Wewoka High School's illustrious class of '42 and attended East Central State Teachers College as an art major until marrying Tommy Harralson in 1944. Pam's careers ranged from billboard designer and newspaper columnist to legal secretary and office manager. In 1995 she retired from Cochran Chemical Company to care for her family and resume her practice of domestic arts. Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Cornett of Nacogdoches, Texas; grandson, Josh Cornett of Austin, Texas; Walker Cornett of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Betty Barb of Midland, Texas and an uncle, Stephen Douglas of Oklahoma City.
Jannie Lyon
Funeral services for long- time Seminole resident, Jannie Louise Lyon are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Seminole with Tommy Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole. Lyon passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006 at the age of 88 at Seminole Medical Center. She was currently a resident at Seminole Estates Nursing Center. She was born on June 6, 1918 in Konawa to Jeff L. and Roxie (Kemper) Akin. She was a graduate of Konawa High School. Louise married Paul Lyon on Nov. 12, 1941 in Sasakwa. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1998. Louise was a retired secretary at Pleasant Grove School in Seminole County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Seminole Retired Teacher's Association. The family would like to give special thanks to: the staff of Seminole Estates Nursing Home, Doctors Park Home Health of Shawnee, Dr. McCrory and the staff of Seminole Medical Center for all the kindness and care they have shown to Louise for many years. Her parents, husband, son Danny Lyon, brothers Frank Akin, Jube Akin, and Bobby Akin, and sisters Kate Sweetman, Virginia Zoeller, and Mildred Streetman preceded her in death. Louise is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Lyon of Seminole; sister, Mary Dorr of Edmond and sisters-in-law Bobbie Upton of Seminole and Estelle Lyon of Wewoka. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Trisha and husband Matt Weber of Duncan and Traci and husband Nick Gray of Ft. Worth, Texas, and one great grandson, Cody Weber of Duncan. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
Wiley Jackson
Funeral services for lifelong Seminole resident Wiley Riley Jackson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Wood officiating. Interment is to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole. Jackson, 80, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006 at Baptist medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born March 29, 1926 in Stigler to Jonas Jackson and Nellie (Kelough) Hardin Jackson. He lived in Shawnee for the past year and was an aircraft mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base for 30 years before retiring in 1982. Jackson married Dorothy Campbell in Bowlegs on July 8, 1949. She was his second wife of 43 years and the mother of his children. On August 2001 he married Jean Kistler. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Wolfe and of the American Legion. His parents; first wife, Marjorie Lee (Turner) Jackson (4-12-47) and second wife, Dorothy (Campbell) Jackson (12-27-94) preceded him in death. Surviving is wife, Jean Jackson of the Seminole home; two daughters and son-in-law, Faye Houck of Norman and Brenda and Daryle Presley of Seminole; one brother, Lewis "Doc" Jackson of Glenpool; one sister, Rena Bundy of Seminole; four grandchildren, Sarah White of Norman, D.J. Houck of Seminole, Melissa Kennedy of North Carolina and Kerri Presley of Ada and two great-grandchildren, Drake White and Kodi Houck, both of Seminole.
James Wall
Graveside services for longtime Seminole businessman and co-founder of the Newton Wall Company, James Newton (Newt) Wall, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holdenville Cemetery. The celebration of his remarkable life will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Seminole. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Shawnee. James Wall was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006. He died at home in Shawnee encircled by his loving family. Newt was born Aug. 8, 1932 in Holdenville to Isaac Newton Wall and Maurine (Tucker) Wall. Both parents and two brothers, Harold and B.K., preceded him in death. He leaves his cherished wife of 54 years, Mary Ellen (Ewing) Wall; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Robert Cox of Norman, Nancy and John Vincent of Houston, Texas, Elizabeth Wall of Shawnee, Jamie and David Hammons of Shawnee and Amy and Daniel Coroama of Washington, Mo. Other survivors are one sister, Charlotte Lowe and brother-in-law, Jim Lowe of Shawnee; longtime special family friend, Linda Stonecipher of Shawnee; sisters-in-law, Idamae Mattheyer of Stillwater and Francis Gillaspy of Shawnee and 11 nieces and nephews. Also mourning him are 17 adoring grandchildren who he loved in return, Wes, Ben and Alyse Cox, Jonathan and Cameron Vincent, Julie and husband Chris Martin, Andy and wife Baylee Hammons, Nate, Libby, Kate, Trudy and Emma Hammons, Josiah, Emily, Matthew, Laura Beth and Joshua Coroama. Among the others who will greatly miss him are numerous business associates, many longtime employees, Rivergate Alumni and multitudes of admiring friends. Newt attended Holdenville Schools where he distin- guished himself both in academics and sports. He was named a high school All-American football player and was inducted in to the Holdenville Sports Hall of Fame. He was president of his senior class and the student council. Newt attended East Central and Oklahoma Universities on football scholarships. Newt joined the National Guard while still in high school and was called to active duty with the 45th Infantry Di- vision to serve in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in September 1951. His many successful business ventures commenced at the age of 10 with a newspaper route. He also started what may be Oklahoma's first fast food enterprise with a hamburger drive-in at the age of 17. Newt Wall was the chairman of the Newton Wall Company, which he co-founded with his father and brothers. In 1954, when he joined the company, there were two stores, one in Shawnee and one in Stillwater. The Newton Wall Co. stores are now in 28 locations in Oklahoma, Texas and Mississippi. He was on the Board of Directors and was the principal stockholder of Vision Bank of Ada, Prague, Meeker and Durant. Among his many charities and philanthropically interests is Oklahoma Baptist University; Seminole State College; Oh Be Joyful Church of Crested Butte, Colo.; Eagle Flight Ministries; Rivergate Men's Retreat and individual college scholarships. He served three terms on the Seminole State College Board of regents, two terms as president. While he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seminole, he served as deacon, Sunday school department director and held other offices. He was currently a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Shawnee. Newt founded both the Seminole Prayer Breakfast and Rivergate's Men's Retreat in 1983. The purpose of Rivergate is to gather men around the person of Jesus Christ. Men are invited to attend the four-day sessions at random and by personal referral. They attend without costs. Rivergate is celebrating its 23rd year and one of Newt's greatest joys was to see the changed lives that came from Rivergate Retreats. He was always the happiest when he was helping someone who needed a friend. Casket bearers for the services will be his grandsons and the honorary bearers will be the men of Rivergate. Brandi Lewis
Funeral services for the granddaughter of Charles and Susan Robertson of Wewoka are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Strode Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Will Jenkins officiating. Interment is to take place at 2:30 p.m. at El Reno cemetery under the direction of Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater. Brandi Renea Lewis, 22 of Perry, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006 at Stillwater Medical Center. She was born April 12, 1984 in Stillwater to Lee Allen Crusha and Paula Louise Robertson. She attended school in Morrison and Ripley and she was a very hard worker, but also a fun loving and outgoing person. On Jan. 22, 2004 she married Alan Lewis in Perry and was a cashier at KFC. She enjoyed her music and the outdoors and she loved to go camping, fishing and swimming (even though she was scared of the water). Brandi loved her entire family and enjoyed the time she could share with them and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her grandfather, jack Crusha, preceded her in death. Surviving is her husband; parents, Lee and Pamela Crusha of Morrison and Paula Wilson and husband Mike Russell of Stillwater; two sons, Aden Hunter Lewis and Ryan Lee Marshall; one daughter, Madison Chesteen Marshall; two brothers, Robert Clint Dixon and Chance Crusha; two sisters, Amber and Emily Crusha; grandparents, Verma and husband, Henry, Ratliff of Buffalo, Mo., Charles and Susan Robertson of Wewoka and John and Doris Scott of Perkins and father-in-law, Billy Reamy of Perry.
