Jesse James Johnson Jr., 51, died at his home in Seminole on Sunday. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate.
Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Johnson was born Oct. 16, 1945 at Pasadena, Calif., to Jesse James Johnson Sr. and June Oretha (Sullivan) Johnson.
He married Penny Jean Taylor on July 11, l993 in Seminole.
Johnson served in the U. S. Army achieving the rank of sergeant; he was a self-employed roofer. He moved to Seminole 15 years ago from Porterville, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife of the home, his mother, two sons, Kris A. Johnson of Bowlegs and Kevin J. Johnson of Shawnee; two daughters, Kara Anna Marie Johnson of Porterville and Tonya Laynette Johnson of Florida.
Other survivors include two stepchildren, Amanda Dawn Simpson and Ricky Clayton Simpson both of the home; one brother, Billy Ray Johnson of Seminole and six grandchildren.
Casket bearers are David Taylor, Butch Taylor, Lonnie Goodnight, Kris Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Gene Renfro.

Rachel Kimery
Funeral services for Rachel Kimery, 80, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Little Church of Christ with John Henley officiating.
Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Prague
Kimery died Thursday in Okemah.
She was born on Dec. 16, 1916 in Okemah to Grady and Ruby McDaniel. She grew up in the Little Community and graduated from Prairie Valley High School.
She married Gerald Reynolds who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1971.
In August of 1973, she married Clifford Kimery and in 1990, they moved to Prague; he survives her of the home.
Kimery was a member of the Church of Christ at Little and worked at the First Methodist Church Day Care Center in Seminole.
Other survivors are a brother Hershel McDaniel, Little, and a step-son Steve Kimery.

Betty King
Funeral services for Betty (Pointer) King, 68, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel. Noma Mansell and Rev. Danny Fisher will officiate.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
The longtime Seminole resident died Tuesday in Seminole Municipal Hospital.
King was born Sept. 10, 1928 in Holdenville to Lizzie Allen "L.A." Pointer and Demma (Stephens) Pointer.
She was married on Nov. 4, 1945 to Wayne King Jr. in Seminole County. He survives her of the home in Norman.
King retired from teaching school in 1988. She taught at Earlsboro school and taught special education for 12 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Other survivors include two sons, Wayne King III, Midwest City, Tim King, Purcell, four brothers, Bob Pointer, Seminole, Bill Pointer, Enid, Phillip Pointer, Ada and Don Pointer, Chicago, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

William Lackey
EL RENO - Funeral services for William D. Lackey, 72, formerly of Seminole, were held at 11 a.m. on March 29 at Bible Baptist Church. Rev. Steven Ostten officiated.
Burial followed at El Reno Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Lackey died March 26 at his home in El Reno.
He was born on June 14, 1924, in Oklahoma City.
Lackey grew up and attended school in Seminole. During World War II, he served in the 513 Parachute Division of the 17th Airborne Division and as a prisioner of war in Germany. He was later awarded the Bronze star and the Purple Heart.
He was a member of VFW Post 382, the Telephone Pioneers of America, and the AARP.
Lackey is survived by his wife, Louise, of the home; daughters, Linday Kay Carpenter of Yukon and Sandra Krittenbrink of Okarche; brother, Jim Lackey of Houma, La.; sisters, Juanita Renton of Seminole, Erma Jean Sheppard of Enterprise, Ala., and Leota Mears of Tulsa; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family requests memorials be donated to Russell-Murray Hospice of El Reno.

Bessie Landrum
Bessie Lee Landrum, 95, died on Monday in Seminole.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Paden Holiness Church, Wayne Ray will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Paden Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Prague.
Landrum was born in Indian Territory on March 13. l902 to William and Leota (Cheatwood) Dawson. She was a life long resident of Okfuskee County. She and Elmer Huston Landrum were married on June 2, l918. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1960. She was a member of Paden Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Audrey Addington.
Survivors include four sons, Elmer Landrum of Seminole, Jack Landrum of Cromwell, Joyce Kenneth Landrum of Okemah, and Don Landrum of Shawnee; four daughters, Odrey Muncy of Oklahoma City, JoAnn Redage of Covington, La.; Doretha Lowery of Seminole and Syble Berry of Oklahoma City.
She was survived by 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Robert Langdon
Funeral services for Robert Lee Langdon, 77, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Rev. Roy Robertson Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Langdon died Sunday at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
He was born April 2, 1920, in Quay to Calvin and Ruth (Looney) Langdon. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1942-46.
Langdon moved to Seminole from California 25 years ago. He was retired from Seminole Lumber.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Wanda Jordan Paty.
Survivors include three brothers, C.J. and Donny Langdon, both of California, and Charles Langdon, Arkansas; two sisters, Ruby Morris, Duncan, and Dorothy Baker, California.
Casketbearers will include Cevin and Monte Holland, Lance Jordan, Erick Hilton, David Colvin and Raymond Langdon.
Honorary bearers will include Jerold Hill and E.J. Paty.

Sarah Langston
Sarah Z. Langston, 96, died on Saturday. Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at Stufflebean Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley. Dr. Joe Elam officiated.
Burial took place at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery near Shawnee.
Langston was born on Feb. 14, l901 in Yell County, Ark. She married William F. Langston on Sept. 19, 1925 in Arkansas.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church.
Langston had lived in Pauls Valley since l955.
She is survived by three children, Frances Adams of Nashville, Tenn., William P. Langston of Bartleswille and Phillip W. Langston of Shawnee.
Langston was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, William F. Langston on Feb. 22, l979. Memorials were requested in writing by Langston to be made to the First Baptist Church or to Child Care.

David Lehman
David Phillip "Dutch" Lehman, 82, of Konawa, died at Shawnee Regional Hospital on Monday.
A Rosary is set for 7 p.m. tonight at Pickard Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Justin Jones will officiate.
Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.
Lehman was born July 29, 1914 at Sacred Heart to David Lehman and Anna Diester Lehman. He grew up in Konawa but moved to California in l948. He returned to Konawa in l988.
He married Georgia Crouch in Bakersfield, Calif., Feb. 26, l988.
Lehman was a member of VFW and serviced in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a retired machinist for Northrop Aircraft Corp.
He is survived by his wife, one stepdaughter, Lynn Wells of Moore; two stepsons, Bill Dodd of Tulsa, and Jack Dodd of Greenville, Tenn., and one brother, Bill Lehman of Konawa.
Pall bearers will be Emmit McCraw, Robert McCraw, Dean McCraw, Tom Lehman, Bob Lehman and Darrell Kurstersteffen.
