TULSA ¾ Funeral services for former Seminole resident Nelsa Lee Atchison Pack, 76, were held Tuesday at New Home Free Will Baptist Church.
Brother Roy Smith officiated. Graveside services were conducted at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, under the direction of Moore’s Memory Chapel.
Pack died Saturday at her residence in Berryhill.
She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Haskell. She grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Schools. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Floyd Wilford Pack, preceded her in death on March 22, 1992.
Survivors include daughter, Kay Walker, Berryhill; one granddaughter, one great-daughter; two sisters, Eva Hunter, Wetumka, and Bertha Carrol, Tulsa.
Thomas Oliver II
Funeral services for Wewoka Nursing Center resident Thomas Joseph Oliver II, 85, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Life Church with Revs. Jimmy Ray Been and Jimmy C. Freeman officiating. Interment is to be at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home. Oliver died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001 at Holdenville General Hospital. He was born on Aug. 8, 1915 in Van Buren, Ark. to Thomas J. and Juanita (Berry) Oliver. Oliver was reared and educated in the Alma, Ark. area. Following graduation from high school in 1935, he moved to Oklahoma City. He married Edith V. Cathey in Dallas, Texas on July 1, 1952. After working 33 years, Oliver retired from Johnny Tire Company in Oklahoma City as the bookkeeper. Upon retirement, he moved back to Van Buren for three years before making his home in Wewoka. In July 1991, Oliver moved to Wewoka Nursing Center. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dee Oliver; and one sister, Thelma Shanahan. Oliver is survived by his wife of Wewoka; one son, Thomas Sluder of Cromwell; one sister, Lillian “Trixie” McDonald of Van Buren; eight grandchildren; many close friends from Wewoka Nursing Center; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are to include John Hall, Brad Hall, Thomas Oliver, Larry Mitchell, Robert Noisey, and Leslie Hernandez.
Willie Rumbo
Funeral services for Willie Lon Rumbo, 67, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Chapel under the direction of Rev. Carl Whitfield. Burial is to be at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home. Rumbo died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000 at Veteran’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born in Soper on May 28, 1933 to Leonard and Dean (Fowler) Rumbo. He married Bobbie E. Pauley on Nov. 24, 1949 in Woodvill, Calif. Rumbo was of the Baptist faith and had retired from BJ Services in 1986. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the U.S. Army. During his military career, he received the Good Conduct Medal and 2nd Class Gunner Badge. Rumbo lived in Seminole for 28 years having moved here from Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jerry Rumbo. He is survived by his wife of the home; three sons, Robert L. Rumbo of Texas, Billy G. Rumbo of Oklahoma City, and Delbert F. Rumbo of Seminole; one daughter, Eva J. McCoy of Seminole; five brothers, Robert Rumbo, Jimmy Rumbo, and Bobby Rumbo, all of Oklahoma City, JR. Rumbo and Paul Rumbo, both of California; four sisters, Joyce Reed of Nevada, Anita Rumbo of Oklahoma City, Imogene Goble and Carol Detlefsen, both of California; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are listed as Robert Rumbo, Billy G. Rumbo, Billy Lee Rumbo, Jimmy Rumbo, Steve Cox, and Guy McCoy.
Carolyn Pagan
A memorial service to honor Carolyn Hope Eidson Pagan is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Maud.
Pagan died Jan. 29 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 26, 1942, in Maud. She graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo., and moved to New York City to work with street gangs.
She worked alongside David Wilkerson, founder of Teen Challenge and author of the best-selling "Cross and the Switchblade."
She later served as a teacher at the Youth Challenge Bible Institute before moving to Fayetteville, N.C., to start a Nicky Cruz Outreach Center.
Pagan obtained her masters degree in special education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Most recently she had worked with the Moore County School system in North Carolina.
Survivors include her husband, Emilio Pagan, of the home; two sons, Kevin Pagan, Greensboro, N.C., and Danny Pagan, Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Lanny Dee Eidson, Broken Arrow; and five sisters, Patsy Jo Lawrence and Sandra Reedy, both of Jenks, Donna Bell Henry, Blowing Rock, N.C., Deyauna Faye Spradling and Rubia Adwan, both of Oklahoma City.
Oscar Phillips
Oscar C. Phillips, 83, died in his home in Wewoka on Saturday.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. at Stout Funeral Home Chapel. Bill Worden officiated. Burial took place at Little Cemetery in Little.
Phillips was born Dec. 14, l913 in Savannah to Joseph Phillips and Dolly Anna Willard Phillips. Phillips was raised in Wewoka and was employed in the oilfield and pipeline business, he retired in l976.
His wife, Pauline Betty Phillips preceded him in death on March 28, l994.
He is survived by one sister, Wilma Blue of Walnut Creek, Calif.

Edna Pratt
WEWOKA ¾ Funeral services for Edna Lorene Pratt, 85, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Stout Chapel.
Rev. Wayne Parker will officiate; burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole, under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Parker died Saturday at Wewoka Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 21, 1911, in Wewoka to John A. and Emma O. (Jamison) Gosey. She was a veteran of World War II, where she served in the U.S. Army.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Pratt, on June 9, 1991.
Survivrs include two sisters-in-law, Hazel (Mrs. Bob) Gosey and Hazel (Mrs. Carl) Gosey, both of Wewoka.
Cora Lena
Funeral services for Cora Lena, 92, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Stout Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Jesse will officiate.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka, under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
The lifelong area resident died Wednesday in Wewoka Nursing Home.
Lena was born Oct. 4, 1904, in Sasakwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lillie Lena, and four children, Mike Harjo, Newman Lena, Tony Kilcrease and Sue Johnson, and one grandson, Leroy burns.
Survivors include ten children Roman Kilcrease, Floyd Kilcrease, both of Ada, John Kilcrease, Freddie Lena, both of Wewoka, Lucy Franks, Sasakea, Sammy Kilcrease, Seminole, Rex Kilcrease, Stroug, Walter Lena, Seminole, Eula Robinson, Holdenville and Mable Ward, Seminole; 49 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Oma Pullin
Graveside services for Oma Pullin, 90, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Konawa Cemetery.
Rev. Dick Couple will officiate, and services are under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.
Pullin died Monday.
She was born July 29, 1906 in Vinnea, Miss., to Willie and Alice Morrision.
She married Alfonso Pullin in January 1926. He preceded her in death in 1946.
Pullin lived in Konawa for several years, where she served as a housewife, and later moved to California.
She was a member of the Nazarene Church for 64 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Geraldine Williams of Paradise, Calif.; two sisters, Opal Cravens and Gladys Langford, both of Oklahoma City; one brother, John Morrison of San Angelo, Texas; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The family asks that donations be made to the Nazarene Church for missions.

Maxine Spencer
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident, Maxine Spencer, 74, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Spencer died Thursday at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
She was born Feb. 24, 1923.
Ada Mills
Graveside services for Ada Elizabeth Mills, 91, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Vamoosa Cemetery south of Seminole.
Mills died Thursday at Konawa Convalescent Home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1906 in Tulsa to Wesley Sullivan and Emmy Kelly.
She married Leo Lowe in 1926 and later married Jim Mills in 1970.
Mills had lived in Konawa the last eight years, where she served as a housewife.
She was a member of the WWI Auxiliary Club.
Mills is preceded in death by two husbands, one son, Jack Emmons Lowe, and two daughters, Juanita Cook and Elizabeth Bazel.
Survivors include three sons, James Lowe of Konawa, Leo Lowe of Baldwin Park, Calif., and David Lowe of Sacramento, Ky.; and two daughters, Louise Bazzil of Ark. and Ona Francis of Perrymont, Calif.
Bill Redding
Graveside funeral services for Billy Joe "Bill" Redding, 84, were scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker.
His nephew, R. Scott Baird, officiated. Burial was under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Redding died Saturday at Pioneer Nursing Home.
He was born June 6, 1912, in Meeker to Joseph Perryman and Ruby (Percival) Reding.
He lived and worked in and out of Seminole and Shawnee all his life. He was last employed with LSI in Vietnam as a sheet metal specialist. He was a veteran and a Seminole resident.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sisters, Myrtle Martin and Mildred Pettigrew, both of Shawnee.
