Noah William Peters, 92, died in the Duncan Regional Hospital on Tuesday. Funeral services are set for Friday at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Sasakwa. B. W. Goodson will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Peters was born on July 20, 1905 in Yeager.
Peters lived in Sasakwa for 65 years. He owned the Texaco Service Station in Sasakwa for 50 years. He was a member of the Sasakwa First Baptist Church, was an active Mason, and a member of the Sasakwa Senior Citizens’ group.
He is survived by a son, John R. Peters of Marlow, a daughter, Susan Hicks of Amarillo, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Margie Jean Plumlee
Graveside services for Margie Jean (Griffin) Plumlee, 64, a life-long Seminole resident, are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Little Cemetery. Rev. Steve Cline will officiate.
Interment is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Plumlee died Saturday at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She was born Nov. 19, 1932 in Seminole to Earl Griffin and Susie Frances (Wintz) Griffin. Both parents have preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Carr, Birmingham, Ala., and Steve Plumlee, Fayetteville, Ark., one daughter, Glenda Roberson, Wellston, one sister, Juanita Allen, Houston, Texas, seven grandchildren and her best friend, George Fain, of the home.

Frances Posey
Graveside Services for Seminole resident Frances Yvonne (Willis) Posey, 72, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.
Posey died Saturday at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa.
She was born April 6, 1925 in Caddo County to Hugh Densmore Willis and Etta Emily (Lansford) Willis Biggers. Her family moved to Seminole in the 1930s.
She worked at Sooner Drug in Seminole for many years, and at a sandwich shop in the same building for several more years.
Posey was married to Foster David "Bill" Posey. He preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 1973.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, Kathleen Willis; and two brothers, Everett and Leo Willis.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Allen Posey, Prague; one daughter, Joyce Reeves, Broken Arrow; two brothers, Hugh Willis Jr., Joplin, Mo., and Lawrence Willis, Chickasha; one half-brother, Don Willis, Aurora, Colo.; one step-brother, Calvin Posey, Enid; two sisters, Dorothy Hucheson, Tulsa and Betty Hokanson, Newcastle, Wyo.; one half-sister, Sandra Andre, Calif.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation hours are from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, noon to 7 p.m. Monday.

Robert Qualls
Robert S. Qualls, 75, passed away at University Hospital in Oklahoma City on Friday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Wewoka’s First Assembly of God Church, 1301 S. Mekuskey Street.
Qualls was born on July 23, 1921 in Washatau, Ark. to Robert Lee and Easter Helen Qualls.
He was raised in Prague and Seminole areas and served in WW II and was discharged in 1945. He had been in construction work and been retired for several years.
Qualls was married to Ruth Helen Sikes on Feb. 16, 1946.
He was survived by his wife Ruth of the home. Three children, Linda Kay and Donald Ray of Wewoka and James Robert of Sutter, Ill.
Qualls was preceded in death by Ardell Tucker and 3 brothers, Waymon, Elzie and Raney Qualls.

Robert Raines
Graveside services for former Konawa resident Robert Stanley Raines, 42, were held Tuesday morning at Paden Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Rev. Mike Raines officiated the service.
Raines died Saturday in Paden.
He was born Jan. 7, 1955 in Oklahoma City to Allen Odell and Patsy (Musgrove) Raines.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Raines.
Survivors include one son, David Raines, Konawa; one daughter, Summer Dawn Raines, Konawa; three stepsons, Adam Barker, T.J. Smith, and Sy Barker, all of Konawa; his parents, Odell and Patsy Raines, Prague; one brother, Terry Raines, Paden; one sister Stephanie Clonts, Paden; three half-brothers, Danny Raines, Midwest City, Donnie Raines and O.J. Raines, both of Oklahoma City; and one half-sister, Debra Raines, Oklahoma City.

Clarence Raper
Funeral services for Clarence Raper, 89, of Konawa will be held at Pickard Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Raper died Wednesday.
Rev. Winston Curtis will be officiating. Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery.
Raper was born April 10, 1908 in Maud and lived his entire life in the Maud and Konawa areas.
He worked as a farmer as well as for Farm Bureau Insurance Agency. He was a Lions Club past president and former president of the Konawa School Board.
Raper was a member of First Baptist Church in Konawa.
On June 25, 1930, Raper married May Izabell Walker in Maud. She preceded him in death on April 7, 1984.
On October 3, 1987 he married his present wife, Estell, who survives him of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Harold Raper and Carl Raper, both of Konawa; one daughter, Cheryl Akin, Moore; and two brothers, Don Raper, Destin, Fla., and T.E. Raper, Oklahoma City.
He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Gilbert Reynolds
Funeral services for former Wewoka resident Gilbert E. Reynolds, 71, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Chapel, Norman.
Pastor Jerry Hooper will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
Reynolds was born July 16, 1926, in Swatara, Minn., to Roscoe and Rose Reynolds. He grew up in Swatara and joined the U.S. Army during World War II.
He received the Purple Heart and numerous other awards during his tour in Okinawa.
He moved to St. Paul, Minn., where he was employed as a mailman.
When the iron mines opened in northeastern Minnesota, he became a steel worker.
He was a past member of the VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge and the U.S. Steel Workers Union.
He married Irene O’Neil, who preceded him in death.
He moved to Clinton in 1970 and married Luella Collins, who also preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rachel; brothers, Damon and Carroll; daughters, Kathleen Smith and Michelle Carter; and his parents.
Survivors include sons, Gregory of Aurora, Minn., and Richard, Hoyt Lakes, Minn.; daughters, Sandra Hagen, Mound, Minn., Pamela Reynolds, Iron, Minn., Wendy Humphreys, Grove, and Melanie Etsell, Norman; and his companion of 13 years, Zula Babb, Wewoka; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Donald R. Rhoades
A National Guardsman, just finishing up his weekend training at Camp Gruber in Muskogee County, was killed in a one-car auto accident Saturday.
Donald R. Rhoades, 39, Seminole, was dead at the scene when his 1995 Chevrolet pickup failed to maneuver a T-intersection and ran into a tree.
According to reports from Eufaula Police Department, the accident occurred at 7:10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of SH 150 and I-40.
"It was a T-intersection; he never hit his brakes," said Eufaula officer Sgt. Charles Hammett.
A passenger in Rhoades vehicle, Oklahoma National Guard Sgt. Robert "Bobby" Boatright, 37, Shawnee, was ejected at impact.
He was taken by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
He was released Tuesday morning.
Rhoades was employed at EnviroSystems in Seminole and had moved to Seminole from Oklahoma City.
He was born May 5, 1958, in Santa Monica, Calif., to Harry and Margaret (Blom) Rhoades.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret Wosika, Oklahoma City; one brother, Ricky Rhoades, and one sister, Becky Lynn Pack.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Bethany.
Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
