Ola Christine Taylor

Ola Christine Taylor, 63, died on Sunday. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home. E. A. Mason will officiate.

Taylor was born Oct. 7, 1933 in Holdenville to Andrew and Anna Roberts. She was raised in Sasakwa. She graduated from Sasakwa High School in l951 and married Jesse E. Taylor on July 6, l951.

She worked as a L.V.N. in Texas and Oklahoma.

Taylor is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Eddy Taylor of Sasakwa, and Wayne Taylor of Holdenville; a foster son, Jimmy W. Owens of Santa Fe, Texas; five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; one great-grandson and five step-great-grandchildren.

Other survivors include a brother, Anderine Roberts of Wewoka.

Taylor was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Cheryl; and her parents.

Pallbearers include Eddy Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Jimmy Owens, Ricky Taylor, Mike Taylor, Larry Taylor; honorary pallbearers include Bobby Murray, Charles Lee, Tim Brady and Mike Mathews.

Cecil H. Thomas

Services for Cecil Howard Thomas will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Yanda & Son Chapel under the direction of Yanda and Son Funeral Home in Yukon. Interment will follow at Wheatland Cemetery, 59th & Council, Oklahoma City.

He died Monday at Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Thomas was born in 1918 in Seminole County to Clifford L. and Ruth Ann Thomas.

In 1936 he graduated from Carr City High School.

Thomas married Annie Duncan on Nov. 8, 1939 in Ada.

Their union lasted 57 years.

He entered the Navy on June 6, 1944 and served in the Pacific until 1946.

Thomas was employed with DX-Sun Oil Company for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Annie of the home, daughters, Sharon Hokit of Yukon and Betty Turman of Warr Acres, a sister, Roberta Williford of Aloha, Ore. and a brother, Vernon Thomas of Seminole.

Thomas had four grandchildren.

Robert Thompson

Funeral services for Seminole resident Robert Clifton "Bob" Thompson, 76, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Seminole.

Thompson died Monday at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Kelvin Moseley will officiate the services. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Thompson was born October 14, 1920, in Burkburnett, Texas to Jessie Clifton and Breatrice (Parrish) Thompson.

He attended Banner School, east of Okemah.

Thompson worked at Getty Oil Company, from which he retired in 1982 as a supervisor.

He was a member of the local Masonic Lodge, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Thompson married Evelyn Maxine Dinwiddie on November 19, 1941 in Okemah. She survives him of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Norman Thompson; and one sister, Faye Allbritton.

Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmie Dale and Jan Thompson, Seminole, and Tommy Joe and Susie Thompson, Gainsville, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Jim White, Seminole; one sister, Eva McClure, Okemah; six grandchildren, Brent and Brian White, Tommy Thompson Jr., Lisa Thompson, Rene Voight and Jill Cook; and nine great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Brent White, Brian White, Tommy Thompson Jr., Dub Childers and George Whitford.

Honorary bearers will be the Tom Rammage Sunday School Class.

William Thompson IV

William Clyde "Bill" Thompson IV, 55, died Monday in Duncan. He was a former Seminole County resident.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Marlow. George Gilland will officiate.

Burial will follow at Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway, Smith, Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Thompson was born Sept. 5, l941 in Texas to William Clyde Thompson III and Mauzelle (Alcorn) Thompson.

He lived most of his life in Marlow. He graduated in l959 from Seminole High School.

Thompson owned a retail grocery store chain, Buy Low Foods; he married Cheryl Combes in Napa Valley, Calif., on Sept. 22, l995 and was a member of Elks Lodge and First Baptist Church in Marlow.

He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Trent Thompson of Chickasha and Tyler Thompson, Marlow; a step-daughter, Lisa Herring, Marlow; two step-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Atyia of Seminole and a brother, Mike Thompson of McAlester.

Ishmael R. Tiger

Graveside services for Seminole resident Ishmael R. Tiger, 84, were held at 2 p.m. today at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole.

Rev. John Lively officiated, and services were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

A traditional Native American wake service was held Monday.

Tiger died Sunday in Shawnee.

He was born Jan. 25, 1913 in Seminole to George and Lowilla Tiger, and he married Gyneva Stubbs in 1950.

Tiger had worked at the Little Rock Gazette and the Shawnee News Star before he retired in 1972.

He was a member of the Cheyarha Indian Presbyterian Church.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Tiger is preceded in death by his wife; one sister, Beatrice Pulliam; three brothers, Anderson, Edmund, and Webster Tiger.

Survivors include one daughter, Kaye Payne of Oklahoma City; one sister, Agnes Pulliam of Seminole; four half-sisters, Senora, Clara, Nancy, and Leafa, all of Seminole; three grandchildren, Tiffany Goforth, Kerry Magerus, and Jennifer Gray; five great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Gerald Lee Timmons Sr.

Funeral services for lifelong Seminole resident Gerald Lee Timmons Sr., 52, are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Temple of Praise.

Timmons died Monday at Columbia Medical Center in Arlington, Texas.

Rev. Harold A. Turner will officiate the services.

He was born to Lloyd James Timmons and Minnie Ruth (Coble) Timmons on December 16, 1944 in Seminole.

He retired from Wrangler, where he worked as a mechanic.

Timmons married Judy Carol Young on March 16, 1968 in Seminole.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Lackey.

Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; two sons, Gerald Lee Timmons Jr., Joplin, Mo. and Lloyd James Timmons, Grand Rapids, Mich.; one daughter, Judith Ann Conley, Grand Prarie, Texas; two brothers, Bobby Timmons, Seminole and Phil Timmons, Mansfield, Texas; and three sisters, Christine Easley, Raytown, Mo., Latricia Houck and Nell Spencer, both of Seminole.

Other survivors include five grandchildren.

Eva Towery

Eva Von (Tiger) Towery, 43, died on Wednesday at Ada. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel. Dorsey Nero will officiate. Burial will follow at Tiger Family Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Wake services are set for Thursday at 6 p.m. in Swearingen Funeral Chapel.

Towery was born Feb. 26, l954 in Olney, Texas to Edmond Tiger and Lucy McGirt Tiger.

She moved to Seminole from Wichita Falls, Texas in l987. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one son, James Matthew Sadberry of Burkburnett, Texas; five brothers, Roland Jim Tiger of Marlow, Pembroke Tiger of San Diego; Marland Tiger, Don Tiger and Randall Tiger, all of Seminole; four sisters, Gloria Jean Davis of Electra, Texas, Opal Cloud of Art, Kan., Wanda Carol Barber of Seminole and Nema Alderman of Wilburton.

Casket bearers include Shelby Barber, Nathan Barber, Donald Tiger Jr., Owen Tiger, Neville Tiger and Johnny Norris.

Honorary casket bearers are Roy Holata, Jamie Powell, Jim Norris and Steven Alderman.

Michael Joseph Untersee

KONAWA ¾ Graveside services for Michael Joseph Untersee, 13, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.

Rev. Winston Curtis will officiate.

Untersee died early Sunday in an oil tank explosion at Konawa.

He was born Oct. 26, 1983, in Alexandria, La. He was a 7th grade student in the Konawa School system.

Survivors include his mother, Vicky Ann Untersee, Konawa, his father, Julius Untersee, Davis, Ill., one sister Ciara Elizabeth Laney, Konawa, grandmother, Margaret Schumaker, Norwalk, Calif., grandparents, Preston and Sally Neese, Lakewood, Calif., grandparents, Julius and Georgene Untersee, Davis, Ill. and grandparents, Victor C. And Barbara J. Parker, Konawa.
