Funeral services for Jo Byrd Davis, 84, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Stout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. L. R. Drinkwater officiating.
Interment will take place at Westwood Cemetery.
Davis died Monday at her Wewoka home.
She was born to Anna Bell and Henry Hill on Jan. 11, 1913 in Sasakwa. She was reared and educated in the Sasakwa area, and had lived in the area all her life.
Davis was baptized at an early age and was a member and usher at St. Paul’s Baptist Church. She was a member of the Wewoka Cemetery Commission. She worked as a housekeeper for several Wewoka residents.
She married Jonas Davis on April 28, 1934. He preceded her in death.
Davis was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Dorothy Griffis and one son-in-law, Freddie Griffis.
Survivors include five children, Charlotte Grimes Lamirand, Dallas, Texas, John and Missy Grimes, Wewoka, Richard Roberts Jr., Phillip Roberts and Andy and Candy Roberts, all of Denver, Colo.
Other survivors include 13 grandchildren, James and Pat Griffis, Norman, Kerry Griffis, Los Angeles, Calif., Terry Griffis, Del City, Oliver Jonas Barkus, Tulsa, Anthony Wayne and Karen Griffis, Oklahoma City, Edward James and Marvis Griffis, Wewoka, Hiawatha Griffis, Oklahoma City, Freddie Griffis Jr. and wifr Loizell, Wetumka, Sharon Griffis, Spencer, Anthony DeWayne Griffis, Del City, Lori Grimes, Oklahoma City, Lane Grimes, Oklahoma City, Stacey and Kristy Lamirand, San Francisco, Calif., one adopted granddaughter, Brenda Eddy; 23 great-great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of St. Pauls Baptist Church.

Reba Davis
Funeral services for Reba Lee (Isham) Davis, 54, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place in Sallisaw.
Wake services are scheduled to be held this evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Davis died Sunday in her Seminole home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1942 in Sallisaw to W.T. Isham and Irene (New) Sanders.
Davis lived in Sallisaw, and moved to Seminole where she had lived for the past 15-16 years.
She married Joe Davis Dec. 3, 1976 in Wewoka. He survives her of the home.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter.
Other survivors include her father, her mother and stepfather, Irene and George Sanders, Sallisaw; four daughters, Tabby Winter, Kathy Downey, Samantha Harjo, and Cindy Simpkins, all of Seminole; one stepson, Montelito Simpkins, Kansas City, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Georgia Duncan
Funeral services for Seminole County resident Georgia Faye Duncan, 62, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah.
Rev. James Wiggington will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Schoolton Cemetery.
Duncan died Thursday in Cromwell.
She was born Oct. 17, 1934 in Seminole County to Clifford and Minnie Myrtle (Tinkle) Barnes.
Duncan grew up in the Seminole County area and later moved to California. She moved back to Seminole County four years ago.
She married Billy Dale Duncan, her husband of 42 years, in 1951 in Arkansas.
Duncan was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Eldridge Barnes.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Dale Duncan, Wildomar, Calif.; two daughters, Deborah Ann Crawley, Pasadena, Calif. and Pamela Jean Birosak, Placentia, Calif.; five brothers, J.C. Barnes, Mt. Lake Terrace, Wash., Elzie Barnes, Aurora, Colo., Bobby Barnes, Cromwell, Ronald Barnes, Sapulpa, and Phillip Barnes, Cromwell; two sisters, Mable Sowder and Phyllis Curry, both of Cromwell; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Elzie Barnes, Ronald Barnes, Bobby Barnes, Phillips Barnes, Mark Duncan, Billy Duncan and Ronnie Birosak.

Tommy Allen Eidson
Graveside services for Tommy Allen Eidson, 46, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Garden Grove Cemetery, between Prague and Shawnee, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Ron Baldredge will officiate the service.
Eidson died Thursday at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore.
He was born Aug. 20, 1951 to Bearl Eidson and Eula Faye (Webb) Eidson. His mother preceded him in death in 1995.
Eidson was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a plant worker at Sunshine Industries in Ardmore.
Survivors include his father, Bearl and adoptive mother, Melva Jurgensen, Love Grove, two brothers Jerry Eidson, Seminole and Benny Eidson, Tecumseh, three sisters, Earlene Alexander, Phyllis Comer and Mary Sebastian, all of Shawnee.

Peggy Colleen Elliott
Funeral services for Peggy Colleen (Smith) Elliott, 46, sister to Seminole residents Carolyn May and Larry Smith, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Capitol Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Euel Bowen officiating and Rev. Wade Scott assisting.
Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Elliott died Sunday at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan.
She was born July 6, 1951 in Holdenville to Bun and Marie Smith.
Elliott attended Holdenville schools and graduated in 1969.
She married William Irvin Elliott Sept. 12, 1969 in the Capitol Heights Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member. He survives her of the home.
Because of her husband’s career in the Army, she had lived all over the United States.
Elliott had spent the past four years in Wichita, Kan., where she was a cashier supervisor in the commisary on McConnell Air Force Base.
Other survivors include one son, David Elliott, Rose Hill, Kan.; two daughters, Michelle Au, Jefferson, Wis., and Sherrie Diggins, Rose Hill, Kan.; three sisters, Geraldine Smith and Sharon Brinlee, both of Holdenville, and Carolyn May of Seminole; two brothers, Larry Smith, Seminole and Gary Smith, Stigler.
Pallbearers were John Paul Cosper, Kerry Dean Brinlee, Kraig Taylor, Rodney May, Daniel Taylor and Tommy May.
Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Smith, Daniel Taylor, Robert Keith Sanford and Darell Morgan.

Katherine Epperley
Funeral services for Katherine Lela Peters Epperley, 75, were held Tuesday morning at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Turner and Rev. Charles Troglin officiating.
Burial was held at Yeager Cemetery.
Epperley died Saturday at her Seminole home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1921 in Holdenville to John Claude and Elsie Iva (Kiser) Petree.
She married Robert Estel Peters in Jan. 12, 1938 in Texas. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1957.
She later married William Nolan Epperley in Holdenville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1976.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Bill Petree, Louis Petree and Kenneth Petree; one stepson, Jerry Epperley; one grandson, Jimmy Dale Peters, Jr.; and one great-granddaughter, Jessica Gregg.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Peters, Holdenville and Jimmy Peters, Seminole; one daughter, Melba Thompson, Holdenville; one stepson, Gary Epperley, Holdenville; two stepdaughters, Deborah Harris and Barbara Maxwell, both of Holdenville; two sisters, Joann Ellis, Holdenville, and Lusha Jasheway, Seminole; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Howard Evans
WEWOKA ¾ Funeral services for Howard Yadon Evans, 74, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ.
Rowdy Kincade will officiate. Interment is planned at ONG Cemetery, west of Wewoka, under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Evans died Saturday at Holdenville General Hospital.
He was born Dec. 11, 1922 in Cecil, Ark., to William Chelsey and Ethel Evans. He spent most of his life in the Wewoka area.
Evans married Juanita Jones on June 2, 1946.
He worked as an auto mechanic and was self-employed for many years in Wewoka.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, James C. Evans, San Diego, Calif., Howard Evans Jr., Mustang, and John Evans, Holdenville; one daughter, Nanette Neese, Wewoka; one sister, Clarice Price, Chandler; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Anna Mae Evans
OKLAHOMA CITY - Graveside services for former Seminole resident, Anna Mae Evans, 86, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Cemetery.
Evans died Tuesday in Oklahoma City.
She was born Jan. 19, 1911 in Idabell to Edward and Bertie Hardin.
Evans was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church
She married Jim Evans June 1, 1927 in Wewoka. He preceded her in death in Feb. 1972.
Survivors include on son, James Evans, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Verba Krasowski and Pearl Curry, both of Seminole; and one brother, Bert Hardin, Seminole.
Pallbearers include Rusty Hardin, R.B. Bruce, Jon Etheridge, Josh Etheridge, and Chris Etheridge, all of Seminole.
