BOLEY - Funeral services for Robert "Baby" Hayes, 70 will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Amos Temple Methodist Church.
Hayes lived in IXL, and had several family members in Seminole County.
Eulogy will be given by Rev. Cleophus Johnson. Burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery under the direction of Keller Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Lee and Leo Hayes, both of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Addie Mae Turner, Boley, Betty Kemp and Doice Hayes, both of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Alva Brown, Oklahoma City, and Lora Thompson, Wellston; stepmother Madie Hayes, IXL; 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Eugene Hendricks
Graveside services for Eugene Hendricks, 88, were scheduled this afternoon at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Harold Turner officiated.
Hendricks died Saturday at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
He was born Aug. 14, 1909 in Morrilton, Ark., to Noah and Nora Hendricks. He came to Seminole from Arkansas and lived most of his life here.
Hendricks was married to Blanche Hendricks.
He worked for the city of Seminole Parks Department for 14 years, and the City of Tecumseh Parks Department for nine years before retiring.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include one brother-in-law, Ellis Casteel of Eufaula.

Oscar M. Hensley
SHAWNEE ¾ Funeral services for former Seminole resident Oscar M. Hensley, 85, were held today at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Matthews officiating.
Hensley died Monday a local hospital. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of the Resthaven Funeral Home.
He was born Aug. 24, 1912 in Alton, Mo. to Felix Marion and Ollie (Hardwick) Hensley.
Hensley graduated from Varnum High School. He had lived in Seminole before moving to Shawnee.
He was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Army in the Philippines and New Guinea.
Hensley was retired from Tinker Air Force Base and was a deacon at Liberty Baptist Church.
He married Kathleen Sheppard on Aug. 27, 1946 in Clovis, N.M. She preceded him in death in 1993.
Surviving are his daughter, Marion Kay Gomez, Shawnee; sister Edna Falls, Ruidoso, N.M.; two granddaughters and several brothers.

Wade Hilton
BINGER - Funeral services for Wade Hilton, brother of Seminole resident Dorothy Lisenbery, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Binger Baptist Church.
Hilton, 74, died Thursday. Burial will take place at Memory Lane, Anadarko under the Gragg Funeral Home.
He was born Dec. 7, 1922 in Lookeba to Hubbard H. and Florence Hilton.
He grew up in the Lookeba and Binger areas, attended Lookeba School, and was a graduate of 1941 class.
Hilton was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served his country overseas, in the South Pacific and Japan. He owned and operated Hilton Auto for the past 37 years.
He married Villa E. Heavin Aug. 1, 1953 in Chickasha. She survives him of the home.

Andy Hooten
Funeral services for Andrew Marshall Hooten, 87, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at First Church of God, with Rev. Roger Brewer and Rev. Jerry Humphries officiating.
Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Hooten died Wednesday at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was born Aug. 24, 1910 in Shawnee to Jesse Marshall and Rosa Ann (Young) Hooten.
Hooten moved from Shawnee to Seminole in 1942.
He was the owner of Hooten Oil Company since 1942. He retired in 1978. He was a member of the First Church of God, and Rotary Civic Club.
Hooten married Floy Nell Womack June 7, 1934 in Tecumseh. She survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Other survivors include one son, Bill Hooten, Seminole; four sisters, Ervie Lee Hooten, Shawnee, Geraldine Walls, Tahlequah, Alice Lightfoot, Ponca City and Nona Click, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, David, Mike and Jon Hooten, and Daniel Newman; and four great-grandchildren, Rayme, Cody, Jake and Abbie Hooten.
Pallbearers will be David Hooten, Mike Hooten, Jon Hooten, Daniel Newman, Steve Quinalty, Don Gill, and Jerry Byram.
Honorary bearers include Don Stuart, Harry Arnhart, Jack White, Cecil Combs and Alvin Rees.
The casket will remain open at the church until approximately 9:30 a.m. Saturday, then will be closed and not re-opened..

Joe Jackson
BASTROP, LA. - Funeral services for Joe Elmon Jackson, father of Seminole resident Ken Jackson, were held today at Golden Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Johnny Miller and Rev. Joe Bell officiated the services. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jackson, 86, died Tuesday at his residence in Columbia, La.
He was retired from International Paper Co. He was married to Margie Jackson, who survives him of the home.
Other survivors include one daughter, Jo Ann Kelley, Columbia, La.; two sons, Robert Jackson, Bastrop, La., and Ken Jackson, Seminole; one sister, Arvie Hornsby, Denham Springs, La.; two brothers, Woodrow Jackson and Ozias Jackson, both of Rayville, La.; six grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.

Carl Johnson
Graveside services for Carl A. Johnson, 73, were held Monday at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Carl Whitfield officiated the service.
Johnson died Saturday at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
He was born Nov. 13, 1923 in Garfield, Kan., to Frank and Valli (Sjogren) Johnson.
Johnson moved to Seminole from western Kansas 26 years ago.
He worked in the oilfield most of his adult life, for Flint Engineering and Rig Construction.
Johnson was retired from the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Johnson, Seminole; four sons, Frank Johnson, Wichita, Kan., Marvin Johnson, San Antonio, Texas, John Johnson, Great Bend, Kan., and Joward Owen Johnson, Claflin, Kan.; five daughters, Carla Nutting, Crosby, Texas, Darla Belt, Pawnee Rock, Kan., Sharla Woods, Larned, Kan., Marla Johnson, Pawnee Rock, Kan., and Monica Brakebill, Pawnee Rock, Kan.
Other survivors include 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mary Jones
Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Jones, 96, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta.
Dr. Kelvin Moseley will officiate the services.
Jones died Thursday at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
She was born Sept. 29, 1901 in Russellville, Ala. to James B. and Margrett Nance.
Jones was a charter member of First Baptist Church, where she played the piano and taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge #224, Tri-Quarter Club, an officer of Eastern Star and past president of American Legion Auxiliary.
She was married to Dewey Jones. The couple operated Dewey’s Cafe in downtown Seminole for many years.
Her husband preceded her in death April 4, 1977.
Jones was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and three brothers.
Survivors include Harold W. Jones, Seminole, Gerold "Duge" Jones, Edmond; one daughter, Wanda Durkoop, Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Bruce Harkens, Bradley Harkins, Jeremy Jones, Ray Harrington, Aaron Harrington and Daniel Boren.
