Funeral services for Konawa resident Jimmy Hayes, 64, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Pickard Chapel in Konawa.
Rev. James Evans will officiate the service. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley.
Hayes died Thursday at Oklahoma City.
He was born Sept. 2, 1933 in Pauls Valley to Geneva Hines and Forrest Clayton.
Hayes was a school teacher and a coach. He was a member of the Young Farmer’s Group.
He was survived by his wife, JoAnn Hayes, of the home; three daughters, Leann Hayes, Shawnee, Gevena Karol Odell Castoe, and Karri Hayes, both of Ponca City; two sons, Jeffrey Hayes, Stonewall, and Jamie Lynn Hayes, Konawa; one brother, Billy Hayes, Covina, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Robertson, Bud Blansett, James Tooley, Everett Gregory, Faron Morgan, and Darrell Stinnett.

Nolene Hodges
SHAWNEE - Graveside services for former Maud resident Nolene Hodges, 73, were held today at Resthaven Memorial Park with Cliff Craig officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Hodges died Saturday at her Shawnee home.
She was born Jan. 6, 1924 in Maud to Noel and Olline (Holt) Hodges. She graduated from Maud High School, attended East Central State Teachers College and graduated from the University of Oklahoma.
Hodges began her career as a journalist working for The Seminole Producer before moving to the Weslaco, Texas area in 1949. She was the editor of the Edinburg, Texas, Daily Review for a short time.
She worked for the Star and the Monitor of McAlen, Texas for many years and was mid-valley reported for the Valley Morning Star in Harlingen, Texas, beginning in 1993.
Hodges also had been bureau chief of the United Press International’s south Texas bureau in the early 1960’s, and was news director for KRBV Television, the first woman in the nation to hold such a post.
She received numerous awards from UPI, and Associated Press, and International Media Conference at the University of Texas-Pan American and many others. She retired from the Valley Morning Star on July 31, 1996.
Hodges was a member of Northridge Church of Christ, past president of the Zonda Club, chairperson of a Boys and Girls Club, Girl Scout Troop leader and member of Weslaco Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivers include her mother; two sisters, Jan Rowe, Camarillo, Calif.; and Tokee Richard, Shawnee.

Robert C. Hogan
Funeral services for Robert C. "Bob" Hogan, 67, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Rev. David Karges will officiate the service. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Hogan died Saturday at his home.
He was born March 27, 1930 in Montague County, Texas to Robert Weil and Naomi Ruth (Mitchell) Hogan.
Hogan was employed by the Dowell Division of Dow Chemical Company from 1956 to 1984.
He came to Seminole from Bristow in June of 1969. He had also previously lived in Enid and Hominy.
Hogan was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he had served as the Chairman of Administrative Council, and a member of Society of Petroleum Engineers.
He was a graduate of Wichita Falls, Texas, high school, and Midwestern University with a B.S. degree in Geology.
Hogan served on the new building committee at the Methodist Church.
He married Elizabeth "Beth" Mosley on June 23, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Other survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Teresa Hogan, The Colony, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Craig Campbell, Dallas, Texas; one brother, Dwight Hogan, Wichita Falls, Texas; two sisters, Adele Smithson, Lubbock, Texas and Billie Rogers, Wichita Falls, Texas; and three grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth and Robert Aaron Hogan, and Hogan Lee Campbell.
Casket Bearers will be Herb Gunter, Mac Carter, Harley Howard, Ted North, Denver Johnson, and Rob Robertson.
Honorary bearers will be members of Fellowship Class of First United Methodist Church; Dr. Brenden O’Keeffe, and Dr. Ralph Ganick.
The family requests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1314, Seminole, OK 74868, or the Maple Grove Cemetery Chapel Restoration.

Bill Hotulke
Funeral services for Seminole resident Bill Hotulke, 62, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Bill Barnett will officiate the service. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
He will be taken to his home today at 4 p.m., and brought back the Swearingen Funeral Chapel at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Hotulke died Thursday in his home.
He was born Feb. 13, 1935 in Seminole to Archie and Liza Hotulke.
Hotulke was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving as Airman First Class. He was a member of Indian Nation Baptist Church.
He moved to Seminole 13 years ago from Tulsa.
Hotulke married Christine Larney Jan. 4, 1971, in Tulsa. She survived him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Other survivors include four sons, Gary Hotulke, Seminole, Darrin and Dave Hotulke, both of Tulsa, and Troy Edwards, Shawnee; three daughters Berry Alverez and Fawn Edwards, both of Tulsa, and Sherry Colbert, Ariz.; two brothers, Bobby and Wallace Barns; one sister, and 12 grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Gary Hotulke, Dale Alverez and Alvin Bahe Wings.

Jeremy House
Graveside services for Jeremy Wayne House, infant son of Larry and Dosha House, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Tate Mountain Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Martin officiating.
The infant was born on Nov. 21, 1997 and died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997 in Valley View Regional Hospital, Ada.
The baby is survived his parents of the home; maternal grandparents, James Dickinson, Stonewall, and Vita Dickinson, Wanette; paternal grandparents, Linda and Vernon Tripp, Wewoka, Jerry House, Waldon, Ark., great-grandparents, Wayne and Beatrice Bible and Robert and Onita House, all of Sasakwa.

Etta House
Funeral services for Wolf resident, Etta Lizziebeth House, 70, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Steve Nation and Rev. Charles Troglin will officiate.
Burial will follow at Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday at her home in the Wolf Community.
House was born in Wolf on Aug. 29, 1927 to Harvey Young and Fannie (Estep) Young.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Edward House on Oct. 23, 1964, one daughter and one brother.
The life-long Wolf resident was owner and operator of Seminole Water Proofing. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and a member of G.E.A.P.S. Grain Association
Survivors include one son, Jack House, Seminole, one daughter, Jenny Null, Seminole and 14 stepchildren, two brothers, John Young and Harvey, both of Seminole, two sisters, Mildred Staggs, Ada, and Evelyn McGirk, Denison, Texas, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Terry Young, Curtis Young, Jim Ladd, B.J. Paris, Mike Paris and J.R. Rivera.

Effie Muree Huff
KONAWA - Funeral services for Effie Muree Huff, 89, are set for 10 a.m. Friday at the Pickard Funeral Home Chapel.
Allen Reynolds will officiate the services. Interment will follow at the Konawa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.
Huff died Tuesday in Konawa.
She was born March 27, 1908 in Pontotoc County to Maudie Myrtle and William Arthur Babb.
She married Zill Huff at Sasakwa on Dec. 13, 1925; he survives her of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Wallace Huff, Sasakwa, Louie Huff, Tehama, Calif., and Furmon Huff, Joshua, Texas; one sister, I. T. Abbott, Corning, Calif., ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
