Glen Pruitt
SHAWNEE - Funeral services for Seminole County businessman Glen Jefferson Pruitt, 87, were held today at Roesch-Walker Funeral Home.
Rev. Chuck Utsler officiated the service. Burial took place at Resthaven Memorial Park
Pruitt died Tuesday at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1910 in Wilcoxin, Ark., to James Cleveland Pruitt and Eva (Truelove) Pruitt.
Pruitt moved to Oklahoma City in later years and worked for trucking companies. He was transferred to Kansas and later bought a large garage and owned the Oldsmobile Agency in Baxter Springs, Kan. until his retirement.
He married Arlyne Phillips in 1936. She died in Sept. 1977.
He married Marjorie Brisch in Feb. 1982. She survives him of the home.
Pruitt was also preceded in death by his father.
Other survivors include two sons, Phillip Ray Pruitt, and Allan Pruitt, both of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Frankie Bozeman, and Fern Benson, both of Shawnee; one brother, Jack Lee, Earlsboro.

Daisy Ryan
Daisy Hudson Ryan, age 81 years of Grove, formerly of Maud, passed away Dec. 27 at Grove Nursing Center after a long illness.
Daisy was born April 2, 1916 to James Harvey and Mary Estep Hudson in Catalphia, Ark. and moved to Maud as a child.
She married Sanford Ryan on July 19, 1930 in Wewoka. They resided in Maud until 1979 when, due to failing health, they moved to Tulsa to be near their children.
She was a homemaker, wife and most wonderful mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sanford, in May 1986; son J.A. Ryan in August 1972; grandson Denton Ryan in Dec. 1996; and brother Faye Hudson.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Dean Donahue, Bernice and Ray Moore, all of Grove and Betty and Billy Horn of Waxahachie, Texas, one son and daughter-in law, Rev. Reed and Sandi Ryan of Catoosa, four granddaughters, Christina Moore of Tulsa, Denise Ryan Dean of St. Louis, Jennifer Linn of Ft. Worth, Texas, Leasa Butler of Houston, Texas; three grandsons, Mikel Donahue of Broken Arrow, Richard Donahue of Tulsa, Stephen Ryan of Catoosa; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elva Hart of Moore, Ann Renfro of Maud and one brother, James Hudson also of Maud.
She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are under the direction of Knight Funeral Home, Maud, and will be held at the Trinity Baptist Church Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud.

Mary Lou Savage
Graveside services for Mary Lou Savage, 58, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. today at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole.
Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate, and services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Savage died Sunday at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
She was born May 27, 1939 in Seminole to Jack Smith and Pearl Vincent.
She married Lonnie Savage, and he preceded her in death in 1992.
She retired from Dyna-Tek Corporation in California, and she was a cook at the Bus Station Cafe for several years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Moore of Watauga, Tex., and Johnny Moore of Lexington; one brother, Don Smith of Seminole; one sister, Rita Newman of Wewoka; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Ethel Smith
TECUMSEH - Funeral services for former Seminole resident Ethel Jarvis Smith, 103, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Church of Christ.
Doyle Loveland and Eugene Warrenburg will officiate the service. Burial will take place at Little Cemetery.
Smith died Friday in Seminole.
She was born Dec. 19, 1893, in McLoud, I.T. to William H. and Nettie (Horsley) Jarvis. She attended Jarvis grade school, Seminole High School and graduated from Shawnee High School.
Smith received an Education degree from East Central College.
In 1900, she moved with her family to Jarvis Ranch, Seminole Nation. After her marriage, she moved to Little Community and lived there until 1936.
Smith had lived in Seminole for the past 10 years.
A school teacher, she taught for 23 years, her first job being at Lone Star, a one-room school house in Seminole County. She taught in Macomb for 14 years before retiring.
Smith was a member of Highland Church of Christ, Tecumseh.
She married Edward P. Smith Dec. 25, 1919 in Paris, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1937.
Smith was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Loyd Smith, three brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Glen Smith, Seminole, and Thomas Smith, Ada; two sisters, Gladys Walton, San Antonio, Texas, and Elsie James, Shawnee; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Georgia Smith
Funeral services for Georgia Louise Smith, 75, were held today at the First Baptist Church of Sachse, Texas.
Rev. Billy Harris officiated the service. Burial was held at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
Smith died Monday in Oklahoma City.
She a homemaker and a member of Harvey Road Baptist Church.
She was married to Carl M. Smith. He survives her of the home.
Smith was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Starling and one brother, V.L. Harris Jr.
Other survivors include three sons, Ronnie Smith, Wylie, Texas, Gary Smith, Magazine, Ark., and Nickie Smith, Commerce, Texas; one daughter, Marilyn Haller, Holdenville; three brothers, Glen Harris, Garland, Texas, Rev. Billy Harris, Sachse, Texas, and James Harris, Wylie, Texas; one sister, Patsy Bantz, Denton, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Jack Snodgrass
Funeral services for Jack Morgan Snodgrass, 59, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Terry Newell will officiate the service. Burial will be at Wolf Cemetery.
Snodgrass died Tuesday.
He was born Oct. 29, 1938 in Biggers, Ark., to James Quincy and Lorrine Maxine (Woodruff) Snodgrass. He graduated from St. Louis High School in 1957.
Snodgrass was a veteran of the US Army, trained as an E5 Specialist.
He worked in the oilfield, seven years with Santa Fe Railroad and retired from Tinker Air Force Base several years ago due to illness.
Snodgrass was a member of Church of Christ.
He married Georgia Snodgrass July 2, 1971 in Seminole.
Snodgrass is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jim Snodgrass.
Survivors include his former wife, Georgia Snodgrass; one son, Morgan Wade Snodgrass, Bowlegs; one stepson, Jody Soderstrom, Oklahoma City; two stepdaughters, Nancy Leighman, Pauls Valley, and Michelle Brown, Latta; one brother, Shorty Snodgrass, Konawa; two sisters, Ruth Cooper, Tecumseh, and Sue Snodgrass, Seminole; one grandchild, Gabriel Snodgrass; and three stepgrandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Philips Huddleston, Larry Sneed, Wade Snodgrass, Corky Snodgrass, Colter Snodgrass, Morgan Snodgrass and Jim Snodgrass.

Willie Spencer
Funeral services for Willie Spencer, 71, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church, south of Wewoka.
Rev. Houston Tiger will officiate the service. Burial will take place at the Spencer Family Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Wake services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Stout Funeral Chapel.
Spencer died Wednesday at Wewoka Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 3, 1926 in Wewoka to Roman and Loney (Cummings) Spencer.
Spencer retired from Altas & Haster Storage in 1981 and was a member of the Sand Creek Eugaula Baptist Church.
He came back to Wewoka in 1982 from Oklahoma City, where he had lived for 16 years.
Spencer was married to Elizabeth Spencer, who survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters, Pearline Yahola and Anna Mae BcGirt; and two brothers, John Spencer and Joseph Harjo.
Other survivors include his mother; two sisters, Irene Conley, Wewoka, and Lela Jackson, Oklahoma City.
Pallbearers include Leonard Harjo, Lee Cloud, Stoney Hill, Edward Crump, David Conley, and Alan Ferguson.
