Robert Blair

Graveside services for Sasakwa resident Robert Wayne Blair, 78, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Eberle family cemetery.

Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate at the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.

Blair died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999 in Sulphur.

He was born Feb. 15, 1921 in Pierce, Neb. To Maude and Robert Lewis Blair.

A veteran, Blair served during World War II at the Battle of the Bulge.

He worked in the oilfields, and had lived in Sasakwa since 1982.

Blair married Georgia Mae Smith on April 20, 1947 in Las Vegas. She survives him of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert W. Blair Jr., West Palm Beach, Fla., Paul Scott Blair, Oxnard, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Maryetta Sanders, Ojai, Calif., and Dona Clark, Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sisters, Irene Lyddon, Freemont, Neb., and Mildred Gabriel, Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

George "Bo" Bohanon

Funeral services for Seminole resident George "Bo" Robert Bohanon, 86, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.

Dr. Kelvin Moseley will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Bohanon died Monday, June 21, 1999 at Seminole Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 16, 1913 in Sardis to Robert Bohanon and Elsie Ann (Bell) Bohanon Moore.

Bohanon attended Jones Academy for Indian Boys in Hartshorne, and graduated from Kemper Military Academy in Booneville, Mo., in 1937.

He was a 32 degree Mason and a Shriner.

A veteran, he served in the US Army during World War II I the South Pacific as a Tec Sergeant.

Bohanon retired from Amarado in 1970, then worked as purchasing agent for Seminole Company.

He then was employed at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens as groundskeeper, then later at Davis Hardware.

Bohanon married Evelyn (Godfrey) Fretz on June 11, 1982 in Seminole. She survives him of the home.

His first wife, Jane (Reed) Bohanon preceded him in death on Aug. 7, 1980.

Also preceding him in death were his parents; seven brothers, Andrew, Abner Sylvester, Howard, Russell Perry, Ellis, Edgar Lee and Sam Bohanon; four sisters, Laura Mae Bohanon Davis Deaton Southard, Ethel Bohanon, Vina Bohanon Bell Selby and Elsie Bohanon Anderson Norris.

Other survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, George "Bobby" Robert II and Malvina Bohanon, Fayetteville, N.C.; stepchildren Janice and Ralph Dunagan, Seminole and Paul Fretz, El Paso, Texas; one sister, Viola Moore Sullivan, Oklahoma City; one grandchild, George "Robert" Bohanon III; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline Boris

Funeral services for Seminole resident Pauline A. Boris, 79, are scheduled for 2 p.m. at Southwest Church of Christ, 25th and Agnew Streets in Oklahoma City.

Lewis Hale will officiate at the services, assisted by Rusty Dawson and Ron Babbit.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Boris died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1920 in Randlett to George W. and Mary A. (Rex) Dunham.

Boris was a longtime resident of Chickasha, where she grew up. She move to California later in life, where she lived for 30 years before moving back to Oklahoma in 1987.

She was a former member of the Southwest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City, and currently a member of Church of Christ in Little.

Boris served as a Past Worthy Matron for Eastern Star in Chickasha, and a life member of the Soroptimist Club in California.

She retired as a bank manager in California.

Boris was married to Nelson Manley in 1942; he preceded her in death. She then wed William Boris in 1962; he preceded her in death in 1987 in California.

Boris was also preceded in death by one brother, Albin Dunham, and two sisters, Eva Lena Taff and Georgia Le Dunham.

Survivors include Robert Manley, Valencia, Calif., and Paul Manley, Yorba Linda, Calif.; one sister, Virginia "Betty" McDonald, Seminole; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Casket bearers are listed as Tom Hibbitts, Roy Boydston, Brian Sims, Howard Byerly, Jackie Cline and Calvin Howeth.

Mary Boswell

Funeral services for former Seminole resident Mary Katherine Boswell, 77, were held today at Avant House of Prayer.

Interment was held at Little Cemetery under the direction of Peters Stumpff Funeral Home, Skiatook.

Boswell died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999 in Avant.

She was born Dec. 13, 1922 at Bald Hill, near Seminole, to Cecil S. and Edda Mae Hays.

Boswell graduated from Mountain View School, and attended college in Norman.

She moved to the state of Washington in 1942, where she worked in the shipyards. She moved back to Oklahoma in 1944.

Boswell was a member of the Avant House of Prayer since 1967, and has been an active member of the Extension Homemakers.

She married Virgil Boswell on June 22, 1939 at the Ferguson Church. He survives her of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Other survivors include one daughter, Kathy Vigna, Seaside, Calif.; two sons, Richard Boswell, Skiatook, and Phillip Boswell, Avant; three sisters, Ida Hyett, Bakersfield, Calif., Flora Mae Nazworth, Seaside, Calif., and Barbara Aston, of California; one brother, Ralph Hays, Yukon; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Bill Bradberry

Graveside services for Seminole resident Bill Bradberry, 73, were held Wednesday at Woodside Cemetery in Shawnee.

Rev. Larry Jones officiated at the service under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel in Shawnee.

Bradberry died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999 at his home.

He was born Nov. 14, 1926 in Grand Salina, Texas.

A machinist, he worked for Eaton and had lived in the Seminole are since 1978, moving from Dallas, Texas.

Bradberry was a member of the Baptist Church.

He married Dolores McClanahan on Nov. 7, 1975 in Durant. She survives him of the home.

Bradberry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Other survivors include two sons, Gary Bradberry and Michael Bradberry, all of Texas; one stepson, Kenneth Taylor, Maud; one stepdaughter, Brenda Kimbrell, Midlothian, Texas; two adopted daughters, Linda Green and Sherry Bradberry; three sisters, Marie Palmer, Dallas, Wardene Cernshaw, Terrell, Texas and Maudie Wrenn, Wells Point, Texas; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Velma Bradley

Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Velma A. Bradley, 94, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.

Dr. Kelvin Moseley will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.

Bradley died Friday, March 5, 1999 at Seminole Medical Center Hospital.

She was born Nov. 27, 1904 to Benjamin and Mary (Saling) Minter.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Baptist Church.

Bradley lived in Seminole for over 20 years, moving here from Nicoma Park.

She was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Benny Joe Bradley, two brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include one son, O.D. Bradley, Mission Viejo, Calif.; one sister, Tennie Belle Ham, Seminole; and three grandchildren.

Matthew Breeding

Funeral services for Wewoka resident Matthew Mark Breeding, 16, were held today at the Oklahoma City Church of Prophecy.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuaries.

Breeding died Sunday, July 18, 1999.

He was born July 26, 1982 to Shawnee to Gary and Judith Breeding.

David Brewer

David "Ryan" Brewer was separated from his mortal body on May 23, 1999. Ryan was born May 10, 1979 in Oklahoma City.

Affectionately known as "Bug," he graduated from McLoud High School in 1997.

During his school years, he enjoyed soccer, band, and Mr. Smith’s science classes.

He was junior at Oklahoma Christian University, where he continued to play his saxophone.

He was proud to call the men of Alpha his brothers, and he still played soccer at every opportunity.

He was an active member of Eastside Church of Christ in Midwest City.

Ryan is survived by his parents, David and Stephanie, brothers Luke and Jacob, sister Elizabeth, grandparents Frank and Gwen Brewer, great-grandmother Inez Willson, aunt Zina Siemer, uncles Kenneth Brewer and Mark Brewer, his special friend and constant companion, Mariah, and a host of relatives, friends, and admirers.

The wise man Solomon said, "A wise son brings joy to his father." Ryan brought us that joy.

He will be remembered for his quiet confidence, his unselfish attitude, and his dependable nature.

We are thankful and blessed he was not ashamed to show and communicate his love for us.

His passing leaves a void that will never be filled.
