Funeral services for Lima resident Clyde Edwin Freeman, 81, and his son, Byron Patrick Freeman, 30, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Tri-City Christian Center.
Rev. John W. Forbes III of AME Zion Episcopal church, will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Lima Cemetery under the direction of Myers Mortuary.
The Freemans died Saturday, May 8, 1999 at a fire at their Lima home.
Clyde Freeman was born April 28, 1918. He had lived in Lima for 57 years.
He served in the US Army for 29 years, then worked for New Lima School System for 20 years.
Byron Freeman was born Jan. 14, 1969 at Ft. Gordon, Ga.
They were both members of Mt. Zion AME Church.
Surviving Freeman and his son are five daughters, Sara Freeman Salbego, St. Louis, Mo., Clydetta Freeman, Oklahoma City, Sharon Starnes, Seminole, Audrey Lewis, Orlando, Fla., and Avril Freeman, Oklahoma City; three sons, Stanley Freeman, Baltimore, Md., Franklin Freeman, Seminole, and Andre Freeman, Wewoka.
Other survivors include one brother, Franklin Freeman, Shawnee; one sister, Celestine Brown, Oklahoma City; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Helen Friend
BRISTOW - Funeral services for Helen Dostal Friend, 72, sister of a Seminole resident, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Schumacher Funeral Home Chapel in Bristow.
Cling Dawkins of the Sharon Baptist Church in Tecumseh will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow.
Friend died Tuesday, April 20, 1999 in Shawnee.
She was born April 19, 1922 in Prague to Willie Sherman and Coke Mae (Thomas) Behrnes.
Friend had lived in the Bristow area from the mid 1960’s until moving to Prague about three years ago.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of Christ.
Friend was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Dostal in 1993, and one daughter, Deborah Jean Watkins.
Survivors include her husband, J.D. Friend, of the home; one son, Ronald Dean Dostal, Bristow; one daughter, Sue Taylor, Thibodeux, La.; three sisters, Pearl Guinn, Shawnee, Ola Davis, Seminole and Ida James, Prague; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Isaac Fuller
Funeral services for Isaac Fuller Jr., brother of Wewoka resident Leon Fuller, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parks Brother Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah.
Rev. James Branscum will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Fuller died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999 at an Okemah nursing home.
He was born June 13, 1926 in Marshall, Ark., to Isaac Isiah "Ike" and Etter Elmina (Green) Fuller.
A veteran, Fuller served in the US Army during World War II.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator.
Fuller was a member of the Morse Baptist Church, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Lodge in Henryetta.
He was survived by one son, Isaac E. Fuller, Shawnee; two daughters, Charlotte Ross, Fayetteville, Ark., and Shirley Canuet, Springfield, Ga.; three brothers, Eugene Fuller and Wendell Fuller, both of Okemah, both of Okemah and Leon Fuller, Wewoka; two sisters, Nila Spears, Sapulpa and Ima Ellison, Amarillo, Texas; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Sheryl Gammons
Funeral services for former Seminole County schoolteacher Sheryl Ann Gammons, 47, were held this afternoon at Church of Christ in Holdenville.
Interment followed at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Gammons died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999 at Holdenville General Hospital.
She was born Oct. 28, 1951 in Oklahoma City to Neal and Barbara (Turpin) Prince.
A schoolteacher in Seminole County, Gammons taught for 14 years, and was a member of the 4th and Broadway Church of Christ in Holdenville since she was a young girl.
She married Johnny Gammons on Aug. 4, 1972; he survives her of the home.
Gammons was preceded in death by her father.
Other survivors include her mother, of Holdenville; two children, Rex and Kari Gammons, both of the home; one brother, Steve Prince, Hopkinsville, Ken.; two sisters, Jennifer (Prince) Yahola, Wetumka, and Angie (Prince) Johnson, Earlsboro; and grandmother Minnie (Binks) Prince, Wewoka.

Ella Garmon
Funeral services for Wolf Community resident Ella Mae Garmon, 83, are scheduled for Tuesday at Asbury United Methodist Church of El Paso, Texas.
Rev. Guy Pierce will officiate at the service, with Rev. Tom Garmon delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Rest Lawn Cemetery in El Paso under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
El Paso arrangements are under the direction of Futrell Funeral Home.
Garmon died Friday, May 28, 1999 at Valley View Hospital in Ada.
She was born May 1, 1916 in El Paso to Silas and Rose Davis Bushong.
A lifelong resident of El Paso, she helped her husband manage Valnestino Municipal Golf Course, and also worked at courses in Anthony, N.M. and Alpine, Texas.
Garmon also worked for the El Paso Independent School District.
She was a longtime member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, and was in the first graduating class of Austin High School in El Paso.
She married J.H. "Jake" Garmon on Nov. 21, 1936 in Alamogordo, N.M. He preceded her in death.
Garmon was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lola Maloney and Dolly Bushong.
Survivors include Tom Garmon, Alpine, Texas, and John M. Garmon, El Paso; one daughter, Linda Gale Hill, Wolf Community; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

E.D. Gayler
Memorial services for former Seminole resident E.D. Gayler, 52, are scheduled for Jan. 12 in Burleson, Texas.
Gayler died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998 in Burleson, Texas.
He was born Sept. 28, 1946 in Hugo to John and Cleo (Marsh) Gayler.
A longtime masonry contractor, Gayler lived in Seminole before moving to Burleson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kim Wade; three brothers, Donnie Gayler, Frank Gayler and Robert Gayler; and two sisters.
Survivors include three sons, David Gayler, Ada, Donnie Gayler, Prague, and Michael Gayler Wade, Hugo; four sisters, Hazel Frazier, Hugo, Lorene Sandlin, Bentonville, Ark., Melba Huddleston, Pueblo, Colo., and Johnnie Jo Gayler, Oregon.
Other survivors are two brothers, Lonnie Gayler, Stigler, and Dean Gayler; and 10 grandchildren.

Roy George
KONAWA — Funeral services for lifelong Seminole County resident, Roy L. George, 86, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Pickard Chapel.
Bro. Emry Lincoln and Bro. Edward George are scheduled to officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.
George died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999 at Konawa.
He was born Sept. 11, 1913 in Sasakwa to Audie Mae and Arliss George.
On Sept. 10, 1946, he married Lillian Lahoma Walker in Sasakwa; she preceded him in death.
George was a oilfield worker and a horseman. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances Cully and Audie George, both of Konawa, and three sons, Bobby George, James George and Edward George, all of Konawa; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Kelly Neely, Sky Shivers, Bobby Hudson, Jackie Douglass, Arron Dale House and Wayne Micco.
Honorary pallbearers include Dempsey Micco, Johnnie Micco, Frisco Micco, Johnny George, Buddy George, Henry Lancaster and Bubby George.

Grover Glenn
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Grover Cleveland Glenn, 97, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Macedonia Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery under the direction of Myers Mortuary.
Glenn died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999 in Wewoka.
He was born July 10, 1902 in Nacogdoches, Texas.
For 75 years, Glenn was self employed. He was a member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge #175, and the Jones Temple CME Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Dorothy Glenn, Los Angeles, Calif., Betty J. White, Midwest City, Lorene G. Henry, Los Angeles, Charlotte G. Ward, Del City and Jane V. Watts, Midwest City; one sister, Viola Glenn Jones, Kansas City, Kan.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
