Funeral services for Steven Grove Harris, 48, father of a Seminole resident, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery Chapel in Oklahoma City.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas, and a brief visitation will be held in Oklahoma City at Hahn-Cook Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, prior to the services.
Harris died of a heart attack Thursday, March 4, 1999 at Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas.
He was born Sept. 13, 1950 in Prairie Grove, Ark., attended Oklahoma Military Academy and graduated high school in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Harris attended Oklahoma University and the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
Survivors include one son, Steven William Harris, Seminole; one daughter, Jasie Nay, Oklahoma City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Harris, Las Vegas; two brothers, Bill Harris, Enid, and Randy Harris, Dallas; and one sister, Linda Evans, Salinas, Calif.

Edra Harrison
Former Wewoka resident Edra June Harrison, 79, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999 at her home in Wakefield, Kan.
Cremation is planned, with no memorial services scheduled at this time.
Private family inurnment will be scheduled on a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, Manhattan, Kan.
Harrison was born June 1, 1920 in Comanche to Ed Hoket and Willie (Harris) Hoket.
She grew up in Wewoka, attending school there.
Harrison was employed as the Court Clerk for Seminole County for many years.
She retired in 1985, and had been a resident of Wakefield since 1992.
She married T.G. Harrison on June 29, 1940 in Wewoka. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie McElhaney, Wakefield, Kan.; and two granddaughters.
The family has suggested that expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association, in care of Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, 1317 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan Kan., 66502.

Rev. Gary Harrison
Funeral services for lifelong Seminole County resident Rev. Gary Dewayne Harrison, 46, are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ministry of Life Church in Wewoka.
Redmon Wolf and Delfred White Crow will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Wake services are set for 6:30 p.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Home, then the body will be to the church at 4 p.m. Monday with night services starting at 7 p.m. Monday.
Harrison died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999 at Baptist Integriss Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was born March 4, 1953 in Tahlequah to Jacob and Zonie (Gipson) Harrison.
A former president of United Tribes for Christ Fellowship, he attended Wewoka Public Schools and graduated from New Lima School.
Harrison has been in the ministry for many years, ministering to many Indian reservations where the Lord opened the door.
During his last years, he ministered with the prison ministry, "Hooked on Jesus" team.
Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Katherine Harrison.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Harrison, Seminole; three sons, Dale Harrison, of the home, Jessie Harrison, Konawa, and Jacob Harrison, of the home; two daughters, Amy and Autumn Harrison, both of the home.
Other survivors include one brother, Larry Harrison, Seminole; one sister, Nancy Goate, Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren, Jordon and Kaleb Harrison, Seminole.
Pallbearers are listed as Phillip Harrison, Martin Goate, Johnny Wolf, Mitchell King and Danny Faulkner.

Virginia Hart
Funeral services for former longtime Wewoka resident Virginia Ellen "Aunt Ginger" Hart, 88, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Wewoka.
Johnny Hinton will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Hart died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999 in Shawnee.
She was born Feb. 11, 1911 to Lena (London) and Dr. James Hart Sr. in Madill.
She attended school in Madill, moving to Wewoka in 1927 at graduating in 1929 from Wewoka High School.
After graduation, Hart attended Harding Christian College in Arkansas.
She worked as a secretary for many years in Oklahoma and California.
She returned to Wewoka in 1952 to work for her father and brother as a dental assistant.
Hart retired in 1981, remaining in Wewoka until she moved to Shawnee in 1998.
Survivors include four brothers, Dr. James Hart Jr., Wewoka, Allwyn Hart, Searcy, Ark., George Hart, Little Rick, Ark., and Harold Hart, Midland, Texas; and two sisters, Evelyn Burrows and Naoma Filson, both of Shawnee.
Pallbearers are listed as Rowdy Kincade, Larry Bailey, Eddie Neill, Jim Cox, Norman Earnhart and Raymond Cain.
Honorary bearers are Joel Keesee, Oscar Daniels and Clifton Taylor.

Carol Hawkins
Funeral services for Carol Harjo Hawkins, 42, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Snake Creek Baptist Church, north of Seminole.
Rev. Woody Fields and Rev. Bill Hobia will officiate at the service.
Interment will follow at the Cornelius family cemetery in Seminole.
Wake services are set for 7 p.m. tonight at Smith Funeral Home in Ada, officiated by Rev. Jeff Frazier.
Hawkins died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999 in Oklahoma City.
She was born March 13, 1956 in Claremore to Edmond Harjo and Lucy Cornelius.
A lifelong resident of the Ada area, Hawkins graduated from Byng High School, and attended East Central University
She was employed at Byng Elementary School as a tutor.
She married Jimmy R. Hawkins Sept. 15, 1978 in Sasakwa.
He survives her of the home.
Hawkins was preceded in death by her mother on Aug. 1992.
Other survivors include five sons, Jimmy E. Hawkins, Toby Hawkins, Micah Hawkins, Casey Hawkins and Kelly Hawkins; one daughter, Derekah Hawkins; one brother, Clifford Harjo; and her father.
Casket bearers are listed as Bear Roberts, Hard Head, Conjot Harjo, Big Moon, Estell Perry and Willy Stick.

Eddie Haworth
Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident Eddie Andrew Haworth, 50, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Little Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Haworth died Saturday, March 20, 1999 at his Seminole home.
He was born Nov. 3, 1948 in Wewoka to Milton and Gracie (Stockham) Haworth.
A veteran, he served in the US Navy.
Haworth married Peggy Sue (Wheat) Haworth on Aug. 24, 1971 in Seminole. She survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Other survivors include two sons, Eric and David Haworth, both of Seminole; two daughters, Ginger Haworth and Pamela Haworth, both of Seminole; four brothers, Teddie, Rick, David and Jeff Haworth, all of Seminole; and two sisters, Sharon Morris, Stillwater and Janet Streets, Seminole.

Richard Heard
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Richard Paul Heard, 21, are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Father Basil Keenan, O.S.B., will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at Tate Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Rosary services are set for 7 p.m. Monday at Stout Chapel.
Heard died Friday, March 12, 1999 in an auto accident.
He was born Sept. 30, 1977 in Holdenville to Buddy and Kathleen (Anson) Heard.
He had attended school at New Lima and Holdenville, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Heard was preceded in death by his grandfather, Louie Heard.
Survivors include his parents, of Wewoka; three brothers, Warren Heard, Seminole, Brian Heard, Edmond, and Andrew Heard, of the home; one sister, Jessica Heard, of the home; and grandparents, Joe and Velma Anson, Seminole, and Bill and Zella Dansby, Wewoka.
