KONAWA - Funeral services for Leona Bradley Jones, 89, were scheduled for today at Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Richard Winters was scheduled to officiate, with burial to follow in Konawa Cemetery.
Jones died Sunday at Konawa, where she had lived most of her life.
She was born Sept. 21, 1910, in Konawa, to George and Ellen Nancy (Sea) Bradley.
She married A.J. Jones in 1929; he preceded her in death in 1987.
She was also preceded in death by one son, three brothers, one sister and her parents.
Survivors include five sisters, Zelma Shavey, Durant, Eva Gibson, Oklahoma, Bessie Kennedy, Mt. Vernon, Ill.; two brothers, Dan Bradley, Konawa, and Loyd Bradley, Oklahoma City; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will include Larry, Bobby and Max Bradley, Lillard Berry, Sterling Stover and Bennie Edwards.

Lillian Jones
Funeral services for Lillian Elizabeth Jones, 81, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Wewoka.
Rev. Dan Anderson will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Jones died Monday, Aug. 23, 1999 in Wewoka.
She was born April 14, 1918 to Albert "Hap" and Minnie Elsie (Towery) Wilson.
A homemaker, Jones also worked as a nurse at Holdenville General Hospital.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She married Oda Edward Jones on July 18, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Jones was also preceded in death by one son, James Jones; one sister, Lorene Morphis; one brother, Milton Wilson; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include four daughters, JoAnn Newton, Norman, Ruby Bevelhymer and Jeretta Cook, both of Wewoka, and Gwendylyn Graham, Holdenville; four sons, Bufford Lee Jones, Chesapeake, Va., Larry Jones, Cushing, Randy Jones, Wewoka, and Paul Jones, Holdenville; three sisters, Lucille Radamaker, Muskogee, Lois Duckworth, Carmi, Ill., and Pauline Woods, Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Tommy Wilson, Holdenville and Charlie Wilson, Muskogee; 31 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Kevin Newton, Tony Bevelhymer, Jeremy Graham, Oda Jones, Dustin Graham and Michael Jones.
Honorary bearers include Charlie Newton, Christopher Anderson, Michael Anderson, Joseph Morales and Chase Whitebird.

Nettie Jones
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Nettie Bea Jones, 96, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Church of Christ in Wewoka.
Burial is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at Salem Cemetery in Alba, Texas, under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Jones died Monday, April 12, 1999.
She was born March 5, 1903 in Indian Territory to Tom F. and Sarah E. (Latham) Griffin.
Jones was raised in Alba, Texas, attended college in Durant, and moved to Wewoka in the early 1970’s.
She married George Dewey Jones on Dec. 9, 1928 in Sayre. He preceded her in death in 1965.
Survivors are listed as one sister, Carrie Christopher, of Wewoka, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are listed as Clint Cox, Zack Christopher, Derek Christopher, Mark Bateman, Kerry Kincade, Vernon Kitsmiller, Eddie Neal and Rowdy Kincade.

Harvey "Earl" Jones
Funeral services for Maud resident Harvey "Earl" Jones Sr., 79, were held Monday morning at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud.
Rev. Roger Ballard officiated at the services. Burial followed at Cummings Cemetery under the direction of Knight Funeral Home.
Jones died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999 at Mission Hill Hospital, Shawnee.
He was born March 10, 1919 in Shawnee to Harvey Earl and Florence Belle (Young) Jones.
Jones moved to Maud 22 years ago from Shawnee.
A veteran, he served in the US Army during World War II.
Jones worked for Troxell Auto Parts in Shawnee, then worked as a pumper for Joe Sharver and John Patterson until his retirement in 1995.
He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Tecumseh.
Jones married Lois Marcell Eubanks on April 1, 1941 in Pauls Valley. She survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Billie Dean Brooks, in 1997.
Other survivors include two sons, Harvey Earl Jones Jr., of the home, and Thomas Dale Jones, Bethel Acres; two sisters, Lula Faith Davis, Shawnee and Oooleta "Lea" Miles, Porum; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mildred Jones
Funeral services for former Wewoka resident Mildred Jones, 86, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Baptist Church.
Rev. R. Woods of St. Paul’s will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery under the direction of Myers Mortuary.
Jones died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 at Midwest Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 4, 1912 in Wewoka, where she lived most of her life.
Survivors include one son, W.H. Jones, Oklahoma City; five daughters, Marguerie Jones, Oklahoma City, Ida Lewis, Detroit, Mich., Lillian Moore, Shawnee, Barbara Maddox, Bakersfield, Calif., and Tommie Davis; seven grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and 16 step-great-grandchildren.

Woodrow Jones
Funeral services for Sasakwa resident Woodrow Wilson Jones, 78, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Assembly of God Church in Sasakwa.
Brother Wesley Martin will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Jones died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999 at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1920 at Frances to Carey M. and Elizabeth Jones.
Jones was raised in Sasakwa and attended school there.
As a young man, he worked in the oilfield, and spent most of his working career in the oil fields of Seminole and Pontotoc Counties, where he earned a reputation as an expert mechanic and crude oil recovery professional.
He retired from W.B. Osborn Oil Company in 1983.
Jones married Lenora Lorene Crosby in Holdenville on Aug. 1, 1941. She preceded him in death April 3, 1959.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and his second wife, Ollie Whisenhunt Jones in 1986; four brothers, Hearl Jones, William "Bill" Jones, Carey Jones Jr., and Audie Jones; five sisters, Earl Hodges, Ora Adams, Wanda Freeman and two infant sisters.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Jones, Spring, Texas, Ronald Lester Jones, Holdenville, Jimmy Leon Jones, Sasakwa and Steven Ray Jones, Sallisaw; two brothers, Clifford Jones, Nowata, and Winfield Jones, Oklahoma City; one sister, Marie Williamson, Ada; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a special friend and niece, Louise Hensley, Ada.
Pallbearers are listed as Harry Crenshaw, Tommy Dale Harris, Bill Brady, Wayne Clifton, George Carter and James Norman.

Susie Justice
Services for Konawa resident Susie Mineola Justice, 90, were held at Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mitch Williams and Rev. Drew Isaacs officiating.
Burial was at Konawa Cemetery.
Justice died in Konawa on Sunday.
She was born on Dec. 27, 1908 to John Sydney and Martha Savanna Blevins.
Justice was a resident of Konawa for most of her life and was a member of the Assembly of God.
Justice was preceded in death by her three husbands Raymond Foran; Alf Pierce; and John Justice.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers.
Survivors include one niece Era Cravens, Byng; and sister-in-law Opal Cravens.

Shawnee Accident Claims Life
Clayton Dean Kean, 21, Tecumseh, grandson of Seminole residents Betty and Eldon Kean, died Monday from injuries obtained in an auto accident in Shawnee.
The accident occurred Monday morning at the on-ramp from Broadway to US 177 in Shawnee.
Kean’s 1982 Honda motorcycle was behind a 1986 Volkswagon Jetta, driven by Pamela Ann Sing, Tecumseh.
Sing slowed to yield a semi truck in the right lane of 177, when Kean supposedly accelerated, according to eyewitness reports, and misjudged the distance from the car.
Kean struck the rear of the Jetta, and was thrown from his motorcycle.
He was transported to Mission Hill Hospital by ambulance with massive internal injuries, then later to University Hospital in critical condition in ICU.
He died Monday in Oklahoma City.
According to the police report by Shawnee Captain Al Turner, Kean was not wearing a helmet.
Funeral services for Kean are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Tecumseh Pentecostal Church of God, with Rev. Fred Owens, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 25, 1977 in Shawnee to Ronnie Dean Kean and Laural Lee (Rider) Raymond.
Reared in Shawnee and Tecumseh, Kean graduated in 1996 from Tecumseh High School.
He was employed as a shop manager at Quality Lube in Shawnee.
Survivors include his daughter, Maddison Kean, of the home; his mother and stepfather, Laural and Don Raymond, Edmond; father Ronnie Kean, of Shawnee; one sister, Tracey White, Tecumseh; one brother, Clinton Kean, Oklahoma City; stepbrother Corey Raymond, Oklahoma City; one stepsister, Jennifer Raymond, Edmond; and grandparents, Betty and Eldon Kean, Seminole.
