Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Helen Meriwether Killingsworth, 86, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Orange, Texas.
Rev. Sam Knight will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
Killingsworth died Monday, May 10, 1999 at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas.
She was born Aug. 14, 1912 in Orange Texas, but lived in Seminole for the past 21 years.
Killingsworth was in the process of moving back to Orange when she died.
She was a past board member of the Seminole Public Library, and a member of the Modern Literature Club, as well as an active member in the Presbyterian Churches in Seminole and Orange.
Survivors are listed as her daughter, Charlarose Covington, Alexandria, La.; sic grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Ann Kimmel
Funeral services for Seminole resident Ann Elizabeth Kimmel, 75, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Kimmel died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999 at Seminole Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 26, 1924 in Kiowa to J.W. and Minnette (Carter) Millsaps.
Kimmel attended school in Kiowa, and received her BA from East Central State College.
She then attended OU and OSU, pursuing a degree in Library Science.
Kimmel was employed as a high school English teacher and librarian, and had taught at Healdton, Woodland, Wewoka and Seminole, and retired from Seminole High School in 1990.
The students at Seminole High School had affectionately called Mrs. Kimmel "Luv".
On May 25, 1940, she married Henry D. Kimmel in Ada. He survives her of the home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one older brother, James Carter Millsaps; and one son, David Lee Kimmel.
Other survivors include one son, Steve Kimmel and his wife, Sammie, of Tulsa; one daughter, Margret Ledgerwood, Moore; and two granddaughters, Chasidy Kimmel, and Dawn Yandell and her husband, O.C., of Tuttle.
Casket bearers are listed as Dewey Wright, Joe Battles, D.D. Patterson, Freid Atyia, Hammett Atyia, and Hulett Edgmon.
Honorary bearers are O.L. Wood, Bill Snell and Lonnie Yandell.

Patti King
OKLAHOMA CITY - Funeral services for former Seminole County resident Patti L. King, 52, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church of the Servant.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Smith & Kernke.
King died Wednesday, April 14, 1999.
She was born Oct. 22, 1946 in Wewoka and was raised in Seminole.
King lived in Oklahoma City for the past 20 years or more, and was employed at Laid Back Interprises.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Sharp.
Survivors include her husband, Dale, of the home; her father, Earl Sharp, Holdenville; two daughters, Stephani Crone, Edmond and Jennifer LaMontagne, Conroe, Texas; and one grandchild.

Jimmie Kinkade
Jimmie Howard Kinkade went to be with the Lord on Jan. 19, 1999. He was born June 28, 1921 in Seminole to Amos Jack and Florence (Higdon) Kinkade.
He was the youngest of eight children, all of whom have preceded him in death except one sister, Neoma Reynolds, Shawnee.
He grew up in Shawnee and married Mary Louise Montgomery in 1938. She preceded him in death in 1993. They were the owners of L&L Jewelry, Inc., in Seminole for many years.
He served in the US Navy during World War II in the South Pacific.
Jimmie retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 34 years, serving mostly in management positions. He retired as chief of small engine accessories.
After retirement, he moved to Eufaula where he enjoyed his home and a host of many friends.
A 32nd degree Mason, he was active in the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and was a devoted member of the Clown Brigade of Bedouin Shrine Temple.
He was the beloved father of Jary Carol Davis and is survived by Jary and her husband, Bob F. Davis; one grandson, Todd Alan Davis and his wife, Darana; one granddaughter, Ashley Milon Davis; two great-grandsons, Kade Matthew Davis and Kash Taylor Davis.
He was loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be in Seminole at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999 at 11 a.m. Masonic graveside services will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee.
Casket bearers are listed as E.E. "Red" Smith, Lloyd D. Garrett, Johnny F. Christy, Lee Davis, David Steele and David Lake.

Lucy Kitchen
Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident Lucy May Kitchen, 87, were held today at Little Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Kitchen died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999 in Shawnee.
She was born Sept. 18, 1912 in Yale to Austin Work and Pearl Fudge.
Kitchen lived in Oklahoma and Arkansas during her early years, then move to California for 21 years.
She moved to Seminole in 1977, and had been a resident since that time.
She married Walter Lewis Kitchen on Aug. 4, 1926 in Stigler. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1981.
Kitchen was also preceded in death by her parents, three sons, James Edward Kitchen, Lonnie Delbert Kitchen and Austin Leroy Kitchen; and one daughter, Irene Laverne (Kitchen) Johnson.
Survivors include five sons, Leon Kitchen, Oakland, Calif., Leo Kitchen, McKinleyville, Calif., Marvin Kitchen, Alturas, Calif., Leonard Kitchen, McKinleyville and Luke Kitchen, Marysville, Calif.; two daughters, Netha Hill, Penn Valley, Calif., and Angie "Pearl" Hudson, Yuba City, Calif.; two sisters, Jewell Roberts and Ella Wilson, both of Quinton; 55 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Felix Klimkowski
HARRAH - Mass services for Felix L. Klimkowski, 84, father of a Seminole resident, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Harrah.
Father James Murphy will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at St. Teresa’s Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service.
Wake services are set for 7 p.m. tonight at St. Teresa’s.
Klimkowski died Wednesday, April 7, 1999.
He was born May 2, 1914 in Harrah to John and Elizabeth (Lutomski) Klimkowski, and had lived in Harrah all his life.
A farmer, Klimkowski had been employed at Harrah Public Schools and Oklahoma County.
He was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church.
Preceding hime in death were his wife, Helen in 1969; his parents, two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include three sons, John Klimkowski, North Carolina, Leonard Klimkowski, Crescent, and Daniel Klimkowski, Seminole; one daughter, Mary Roller, Chickasha; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Blanche Kneeland
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Blanche Louise Kneeland, 88, were held today at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Dr. Kelvin Moseley officiated at the service. Burial followed at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Kneeland died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999 at Pioneer Nursing Home.
She was born June 1, 1910 in Lindsay to Marshall Madison and Blanche Ella (Folsom) Smith.
A homemaker, Kneeland was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was married to Leo Kneeland; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Kneeland, Hulbert, and Don Kneeland, Ramona; tow daughters, Serelda Cody, Norman and Kay Hutchinson, Lake Charles, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.
Casket bearers are listed as Norman Waddell, Darrell Cody, Jeff Cody, Bob Hutchinson, Larry Kneeland and Fred Kneeland.

William Krause
Funeral services for former Bowlegs resident William (Bill) D. Krause, 64, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Stout Chapel in Wewoka.
Rev. Jim Gillium will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Vamoose Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Krause died Wednesday, July 7, 1999 at his home in Bowlegs.
He was born April 22, 1935 in Ada to Lloyd Delmon Krause and Zerabell (Maddian) Krause.
He was raised in Sasakwa, where he attended school, and served in the U.S. Navy.
On Oct. 13, 1958 he married Belva Gaines in Holdenville; she survives him of the home.
Krause and his family have been Bowlegs residents for the past 27 yeas, where he was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Hailey Krause.
Other survivors include Cris and Jo Krause, Austell, Ga.. Mike and Karen Krause, Bowlegs, Karl and Cindy Krause, Seminole, Beth and Brian Haws, Bowlegs and grandchildren Tonya Krause, Wendy Krause, David Gentry Krause, Nikki Gentry Krause, Jeena Krause, Destinie Haws and Kennidi Krause.
Pallbearers will include Hoss Batesel, Frankie Batesel, Gary Mainard, Dewayne Gillium, Sonny Harjo and Steve Roberson. Honorary bearers are Eddie Gaines, Jim Gaines, Bobbie Jack Biggs and Billy Jack Norman.
