Funeral services for Jessie Marie Kretchmar, mother of a Seminole resident, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks.
Rev. Ron Walker will officiate at the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Chandler.
Kretchmar died Wednesday, May 26, 1999 in Midwest City.
She was born April 5, 1926 in Delight, Ark. to Oscar and Amanda (Hanson) Denton.
A homemaker, Kretchmar was a member of the Faith Believers Church in Sparks, where she has lived for many years.
She married Richard Kretchmar on June 14, 1947. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1992.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Kretchmar, Sparks; two daughters, Linda Walker, Sparks, and Gail Warden, Seminole; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Blanche Lacquement
Funeral services for Seminole County resident Blanche Stewart Lacquement, 73, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home, in Okemah.
Pastor Lewis Lorvel will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
Lacquement died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She was born July 22, 1926 in Okfuskee to Floyd and Nealie (Finley) Stewart.
A homemaker for 56 years, Lacquement raised 17 children before working for Interstate Travel Facility.
She married Chester Louis Lacquement on Nov. 28, 1942. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three children, Duston Rex, Frankie Levi and Cora Ann Lacquement, one brother, three sisters, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include seven sons, Chester Louis Lacquement Jr., Oklahoma City, Emil Justice Lacquement, Macomb, Mark Dee Lacquement, Pauls Valley, Wayne Lloyd Lacquement, Oklahoma, James Earnest Lacquement, Hoffman, Robert Stuart Lacquement, Houston, Texas, and Otto Rene Lacquement, Okemah; seven sisters, Roberta JoAnn Childress, Okemah, Kathleen Elaine Bleeker, Blackwell, Phyllis Blanche Minor, Okemah, Patricia Alice McClure, Okemah, Rose Marie Boyd, Decatur, Ala., Evelene Marilyn Lacquement and Florence Sue Lacquement, both of the home; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are listed as sons, and honorary pallbearers are granddaughters.

Chester Lacquement Sr.
Funeral services for Cromwell area resident, Chester Louis Lacquement Sr., 75, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah.
Lacquement died Monday, March 1, 1999 at his home southwest of Okemah.
Interment will be in the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born June 22, 1923 to Rev. Emil Lacquement and Cora Peck Lacquement.
On Nov. 28, 1962 he married Blanche Stewart; she survives him of the home.
Lacquement was a veteran of World War II and a retired jet engine tester at Tinker Field.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Prague Church of God. He had been a resident of Okfuskee County for 37 years.
Lacquement was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Duston Rex Lacquement and Frankie Levi Lacquement; one daughter, Cora Ann Lacquement; two brothers, Clarence Lacquement and Joseph Lacquement; and three sisters, Grace Ellison, Ruth Whitworth and Ethel McKee.

J.W. "Tooter" Lang
Graveside services for Seminole resident J.W. "Tooter" Lang, 72, are scheduled fro 1:30 p.m. Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Jim Bierd will officiate at the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Lang died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999 at Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City.
He was born Dec. 21, 1926 in Eufaula to W.M. and Nellie Lang.
He owned and operated W.M. Lang and Son Tank Truck Service for 47 years.
Lang married Barbara Pfeiffer on Feb. 19, 1954. She survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Clara Pfeiffer.
Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Jerry Martin, Seminole; grandson Jace Martin; father-in-law, Rudy Pfeiffer and his wife, Jean, Maud; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudy and Mary Pfeiffer, Missouri, and Rod and Belinda Pfeiffer, Newalla; cousins Lois Burley, Oklahoma City, and Frances Baskins, Sallisaw; two nieces, Dana Pfeiffer and Michelle Pfeiffer, both of Missouri; and one nephew, Levi Pfeiffer, Newalla.

Thelma Langston
Word was just received of the death of former Seminole County resident Thelma Lorene Langston, 87.
She died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1999 at the Life Care Center in Longmont, Colo.
No services will be held, and cremation is scheduled at Erlinger Cremation and Funeral Services in Longmont.
Langston was born July 25, 1912 in Keefer to Jacob Albert and Nellie Chloe (Medley) Ruble.
She graduated from Wewoka High School, the later worked in the Seminole County Treasurer’s Office in Wewoka.
Langston was a Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Ardmore, and a member of the OES Chapter 246 in Wewoka.
She was also a Past Mother Advisor of Rainbow in Wewoka.
Langston was an active hospital volunteer in Ardmore, and in later years was a volunteer in the senior citizens Telecare Network in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
She was married to Ralph A. Stumpp Sr., in Wewoka; they divorced sometime later.
Later, she married William "Slim" Langston. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Langston was also preceded in death by one son, Ralph A. Stumpp Jr., in 1980 and one sister, Doris M. Ruble, in 1967.
Survivors include one son, Larry M. Stumpp, of the home; four grandchildren and four great-grand-children.
The family has suggested expressions of sympathy be made to individual favorite charities.

Alma Latta
Graveside services for former Seminole resident Alma Adeline Latta, 85, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Rev. John Lively will officiate at the services, assisted by Father Patrick McCool, O.S.B. Burial is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
The family will accept visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Swearingen Funeral Home.
Latta died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999 at Ft. Worth, Texas.
She was born Feb. 17, 1913 in Ava, Mo. To Robert Jasper Miller and Dora Jane Jones.
She moved to Seminole 70 years ago from Ava.
A homemaker, Latta was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Seminole.
She was married to James Kelvie Latta on Oct. 27, 1930 in Wewoka. He preceded her in death in Feb., 1983.
Latta was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Joan Nolte, Oklahoma City, and Delores Jean Minihan, Ft. Worth, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Casket bearers are listed as Kenneth K. Jones, Terrell D. Jones, Kenneth B. Jones, Edward D. Minihan, Albert Cruz, C. Dean Nolte and Armon Barjasa.

Zollie "Red" Lauderdale
Graveside services for former Seminole resident Zollie "Red" Lauderdale, 79, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenhill Cemetary in Lindsay.
Rev. James Allen Lauderdale will officiate at the services. Burial is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Lauderdale died Saturday, July 24, 1999 at the VA Center in Norman.
He was born Dec. 19, 1919 in Lindsay to Zollie and Grace (Watkins) Lauderdale.
He moved to California, then to Seminole in 1963 from Los Angeles.
A veteran of World War II, he served as a TEC 4 from July, 1943 to April, 1946.
Lauderdale was employed by the City of Seminole until his retirement in 1982.
He was a life member of the American Legion, Post #204, and also a member of the Elks Lodge, and a former member of the VFW.
He married Iris Colleen (Dimpel) Lauderdale in 1948 in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and one sister.
Other survivors include three sons, James Lauderdale, Bowlegs, Steven Lauderdale, Elk City, and Robert Lauderdale, Seminole; one brother, Elmer Lauderdale, Ontario, Canada; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
