Funeral services for former Seminole resident Jerald Robert McKedy, 54, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Epworth United Methodist Church in Chickasha.
Rev. Larry Jacobson will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. John Hauser.
Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
McKedy died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999 in Oklahoma City.
He was born March 24, 1945 in Ellsworth, Kan., to Newton Paul and Mary Elisabeth (Britton) McKedy.
He graduated from Seminole High School in 1964, and later graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
McKedy was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Methodist Men, High Plains Hunting and Retrieving Club, and was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
He married Diana Gail King on March 30, 1963 at Calvary Baptist Church in Seminole. She survives him of the home.
McKedy was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Other survivors include two sons, Byron Keith McKedy, Oklahoma City and Micah Gene McKedy, Cabot, Ark.; and three grandchildren.

M. Chris McKee
Funeral services for lifelong Seminole County resident M. Chris McKee, 35, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Rev. Drew Isaacs will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Dora Cemetery.
McKee died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999 at his home.
He was born April 19, 1964 in Seminole to Don and Sondra Rae (Williams) McKee.
He graduated from Maud High School in 1982, and moved to the Seminole area in 1983.
McKee was a member of the Grace Community Church.
He was employed as an oil field worker.
McKee was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his parents, of Earlsboro; one grandmother, Violet Rogers, Seminole; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Danny Isaacs, Konawa, and Danita and Willie Gordon, Maud, and Christine McKee; and nieces and nephews, Adam, Shayla and Shanda Gordon, all of Maud, Scotty and Gabbie Isaacs, and T. Isaacs, all of Konawa.
Casket bearers are listed as Darrell Morris, Doyle Morris, Gerald Morris, Jim Snodgrass, Bill Hooker and Jim Lauderdale.

Parker McKenzie
Funeral services for Parker Paul McKenzie, 101, father of a Wewoka resident, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at Rainy Mountain Baptist Church, Mountain View.
Rev. Reaves Nahwooks will officiate. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, under the direction of Smith Funeral Chapel.
A prayer service will be held Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel, Anadarko.
McKenzie died Friday, Mar. 5, 1999 in Lawton.
He was born November 15, 1897 southwest of Mountain View in a Kiowa camp.
McKenzie attended Rainy Mountain Kiowa Boarding School, Phoenix Indian Boarding School, Lamson Business College and Oklahoma A&M.
He served as a Kiowa linguist which earned him a Doctorate of Humane Letters (honoris causa) 73 years later from the University of Colorado.
McKenzie worked with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Anadarko, retiring with 39 years of service.
McKenzie was a member of Rainy Mountain Kiowa Indian Baptist Church. He was baptized in the Washita River at the Red Stone Church.
He was a member of the 21st Masonic Lodge, Anadarko, since 1925, and was a Master Mason.
McKenzie married Nettie Odley in the summer of 1919 in Hobart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and three sons.
Survivors include two daughters, Esther Hayes, Mountain View; Kathryn Collier, Wewoka; 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Lillian McKenzie
Funeral services for Seminole resident Lillian McKenzie, 93, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church.
Dr. Kelvin Moseley will officiate at the services. A private family burial will follow the services at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
McKenzie died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999 at Valley View Hospital in Ada.
She was born Sept. 4, 1906 in Ozark, Ark. to George And Katie Harrower.
McKenzie spent her formative years in Charleston, Ark. before moving to Seminole in 1941.
Except for her residency in Sasakwa from 1963-68, she lived in Seminole since that time.
McKenzie was a homemaker, and a member of the Esther Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, as well as the Busy Bee Quilting Guild.
She was preceded in death by one son, John, in 1986, and her husband, Charles, in 1988.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Gayla Arnold, Mica Ervin and Johnna Ervin, and their husbands, Tommy Arnold, Kelly Cook and Mike Ervin; and eight great-grandchildren, Amy Arnold, Kelli Ann Cook, Seth Arnold, Mica Ervin, Katie Arnold, Jon Michael Ervin, Kassidy Cook and Trey Ervin.
Pallbearers are listed as Don Raney, Bill Thompson, Owen Melton, Dale Wallace, Glen Carroll and Don Brooks.
Memorials should be directed to the Baptist Children’s Home in Oklahoma City.

Sue McKown
Graveside services for Maud resident Sue Barnett (Ragsdale) McKown, 64, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Cummings Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Knight Funeral Home.
McKown died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Oklahoma City.
She was born July 15, 1935 in Anniston, Ala., to Lloyd Virgil Ragsdale and Margaret W. (Bell) Ragsdale Mitchell.
She married Jerrye Olan McKown of Feb. 22, 1952 in Mobile, Ala. He survives her of the home.
McKown was preceded in death by her father.
Other survivors include her mother, of Bossier City, La.; one son and daughter-in-law, Timmothy "Stormy" and Rishelle McKown, Plano, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Douglas Seay, Sherman, Texas, Tamela and Larry Wise, Tecumseh, and Rebecca McKown, Keller, Texas; six brothers, Donald Ragsdale, Africa, Wayne Ragsdale, Abilene, Texas, Gary Ragsdale, Miami, Fla., Rodney Ragsdale, Bossier City, La., and Johnny Ragsdale, Shreveport, La.
Also surviving her were nine grandchildren, Cameron Kurtz, Zane Kurtz, Amber and Nichole McKown, Tory (Wise) Dilon, Joshua Wise, Jese James, and Seth and Sara Chitwood; and three great-grandchildren, Brianna M. Dilon, Jacy Bledsoe and Jaidea Dilon.

Lula McMichael
Graveside services for Martha Lucinda Ellen "Lula" McMichael, 95, mother of Seminole resident Gerald McMichael, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Holdenville Cemetery.
Rev. Wade Scott will officiate at the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
McMichael died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 in Seminole.
She was born Dec. 22, 1903 in Bear, I.T., now known as Hughes County, to William Thomas Henry and Amanda Collier Henry.
The third of five children, McMichael is the last surviving sibling.
She attended Atwood Schools and was a resident of Holdenville from 1925 to 1987.
McMichael worked at the McAlester Ammunitions Depot, and later at JC Penny's.
She married Robert Lee McMichael on May 3, 1921; he preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1971.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one son, Carl V., in 1990 and one granddaughter.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Lee McMichael Jr., Holdenville, and Gerald W. McMichael, Seminole; Myrtle Lee McMichael, Fresco, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Frances McMillan
Graveside services for Earlsboro native Frances McMillan, 81, were held Wednesday at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Chapel.
McMillan died Saturday, June 12, 1999 in Tecumseh.
She was born May 20, 1918 in Earlsboro to Hershal and Audie Mae (Keys) Taylor.
A graduate of Earlsboro High School, she had lived in Maud, Shawnee and Tecumseh.
McMillan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one grandson.
Survivors include sons Charles Lee McMillan, Hephzibah, Ga., Gary A. McMillan, Lawton, and Ron H. McMillan, Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
