Funeral services were set for longtime Seminole resident, Violet Gertrude Morris, 81, for today at the First Baptist Church in Seminole.
Rev. Kelvin Moseley officiated at the service.
Interment was scheduled at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Swearingen Funeral Home. She died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at the Shawnee Regional Hospital.
She was born Feb. 16, 1917 in Missouri to Grace G. (Bracken) and George Oliver Franklin.
Morris retired in 1989 from Mistletoe Express and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seminole.
She married Marvin C. "Cub" Morris on Aug. 21, 1947 in Bentonville, Ark. He survives her of the home.
Morris was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Shawn Meyers; sisters Vivian Carpenter, Virginia Hack, Don Franklin and Ethel Franklin.
Other survivors include: son, Terry Morris and wife, Nancy of Shawnee; daughter Nancy Myers and husband, Leonard, of Moore; two brothers, Vernon Franklin and wife, Becky, of OKC, and Dave Farrier and wife, Donna, of Lawrence, Kan.
Also surviving Morris are: two sisters, Verna May Matthews and husband, Winford, of Seminole, and Veva Nelson and husband, Joe, of Prague; five grandchildren, Tony Myers, damon Myers, Kendal Myers, April Morris and Brandi Morris; and one great-grandchild Amanda Meyers.

Danna Morrison
Funeral services for Danna Dezzel Morrison, 87, sister to Wewoka residents, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Capital Heights Baptist Church, Holdenville.
Rev. Wade Scott and Rev. Dennis Tate will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Visitation began Saturday at Stout, and will continue Sunday at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.
Morrison died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999 in Oklahoma City.
She was born Oct. 16, 1911 in Marietta to Beula (Smith) and Claude William Bradley.
Morrison was reared in Marietta and Holdenville, and was an active member of Capital Heights Baptist Church.
She was married to Murphy Morrison; he preceded her in death in August of 1978.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Turner, Ada; one son, Tom Morrison, Muskogee; four sisters, Naomia Stafford, Wewoka, Bessie Rush, Fresno, Calif., Velma Brill and Lennie McMichael, both of Holdenville; one brother, William L. Bradley, Wewoka; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are listed as Ron Stafford, Tom Morrison, Gene Thompson, Tim Thompson, Claude Rush and Ralph Jennings.
Honorary pallbearers are Hayes Stafford, Clifton Houser, Oliver Brinley, Clyde Kelley, Calvin May, Bill Bradley, Buster Morrison and Robert McMichael.

Neal Moyer
Funeral services for Seminole resident Neal A. Moyer, 74, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Dr. Kelvin Moseley will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Moyer died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999 at Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City.
He was born June 29, 1924 in Oklahoma City to Raymond Hubert and Pauline (Judkins) Moyer.
He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1942.
A veteran, Moyer served in the US Army in Europe from 1943-1945 in the Aircorp.
He retired from Sun Oil Company after 42 years of employment.
Moyer was a member of the First Baptist Church, and was a 32 degree Mason.
He married Anna Bell Anthony on Dec. 24, 1941 in Letha; she survives him of the home.
He was preceded in death by his father, one son, Neal R. Moyer, and one grandson, J.T. Moyer.
Other survivors include his mother, of Ponca City; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Andy Moyer, Seminole; one sister, Barbara Ennis, Ponca City; six grandchildren, Blaine, Rebecca, Brandon, Russell, Pat and Bob; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Casket bearers include his grandsons, and Ryan Hallum.

Gerald Mullen
Graveside services for Seminole County resident Gerald Dewayne Mullen, 35, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wolf Cemetery.
Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate at the service. Interment will be under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Mullen died Friday, May 7, 1999 at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was born Aug. 12, 1963 in Seminole to Gerald Eugene Mullen and Gladys (Richards) Mullen.
Mullen lived in the Seminole area all of his life. He was disabled.
Mullen was preceded in death by his father in 1985.
Survivors include his mother, Gladys Mullen and two sisters, Teresa Anson and Melissa Marquis, all of Wolf.

Frank Mushinski
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Frank Joseph Mushinski, 88, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Father Basil Keenan, O.S.B., will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mushinski died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999 in Monroe, La.
He was born May 18, 1910 in Mizerka, Poland to Stella and Peter Mushinski, and came to America in Feb., 1913, where the family settled in Hainesport, N.J.
A veteran, he served in the United States military during World War II, seeing action in the Pacific and European Theaters, and was at Pearl Harbor during the bombing.
Mushinski achieved the rank of Master Sergeant and won numerous medals of honor.
After his retirement in 1977, he moved to Oklahoma, and had lived in Sulphur, Norman and Seminole.
He married Imogene Brown on March 30, 1944. She survives him of the home.
Mushinski was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Henry, Murph, Charlie, Walt and Joe; and sister Stella.
Other survivors include sons Frank Mushinski, Bastrop, La., Stan Mushinski, Altamonte Springs, Fla., and Ken Mushinski, Wrightstown, N.J.; daughters Jackie McKinny, Oklahoma City, Pat, Elon College, N.C., and Chris, Moore.
Also surviving him are 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers are listed as Richard Mushinski, Robert Tilts, Frank Mushinski, Kevin Brooks, William Downs and Daniel Harpster.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Rinda Myers
KONAWA — Graveside services for former Seminole County resident Rinda (Duck) Myers, 67, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Konawa Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Rev. Mike Taylor, Myers’ cousin, will officiate at the service.
Myers died Thursday, May 13 at her home in Sulphur.
She was born March 29, 1932 in St. Louis to James R. Duck and Ruby (Taylor) Duck.
Duck graduated from Maud High School and on June 9, 1951 married Richard E. "Gene" Myers in Ada; he survives her of the home.
She retired from Halliburton Company, Duncan, after 31 years of service, and was a member of First Christian Church of Sulphur.
Other survivors include a daughter, Kristi Ann Wells, Pensacola, Fla. And a son, Richard K. Myers, Henryetta; one sister, Sally Bridwell, Worland, Wyo.; and four grandchildren.

Genevieve Nall
Graveside funeral services for longtime Seminole County resident Genevieve (Hickman) Nall, 90, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Dr. James D. Sill Sr. will officiate at the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Nall died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999 at her home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1909 in Chandler to Lewis and Myrtle (Lightfoot) Hickman.
Nall was employed with Douglas Aircraft and City Service Oil Company, and had lived in Seminole County for the past 70 years.
A member of First Christian Church, she was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and the first Ladies Golf Association established in Seminole.
She was married to N.H. "Buck" Nall on Aug. 25, 1931 in Holdenville. He survives her of the home.
Nall was preceded in death by her parents.
She was also survived by one brother, O.H. Hickman of Shawnee.
