Funeral service for lifetime Claremore resident Rebecca Ann “Becky” Wallis Anderson will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the First Baptist Church with Brother Sam Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday 1-8 p.m.
Becky died Friday, Nov. 15, at her home at the age of 43 following a lengthy illness.
The daughter of Richard Calvin and Mary Jean Davis Wallis was born Aug. 24, 1959, in Claremore. Becky graduated from Sequoyah High School, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rogers State University. She worked at Claremore City Hall for 12 years as an administrative assistant, and had also worked at Jayrambo Co. as an office manager, Centrilift in their purchasing dept. and as an engineering assistant, and Darr-Equipment as a secretary. Becky had been active with her son, Casey, in Boy Scout Troop 88 where she served as committee chair, and the 4-H Club. She was multi-talented, making many beautiful things.
Becky is survived by her son, Casey James Anderson, and mother, Mary Wallis both of the home; siblings: Linda Kay Washburn of Chelsea, and John Richard Wallis and Calvin Douglas Wallis both of Claremore; nephews and nieces: Kyle Wallis, Jeremy Wallis, Jessica Wallis, Jacob Wallis, Rachel Wallis, and Christopher Washburn; uncles: Austin, Raymond, Marvin, Jerry, and Hosea Wallis, and John Davis; aunts: Nadine Genzel and Louise Jantzen; numerous cousins, and many wonderful supportive friends.
Becky is preceded in death by her father, Richard Wallis, paternal grandparents, Homer and Dorothy Wallis, and maternal grandparents: Zeke and Emma Davis.

Pearl died Wed., Aug. 31, 2005, at the Rolling Hills Nursing Home, Catoosa, at the age of 93.
The daughter of Dolf and Molly Mae (Way) Bray was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Cushing. Pearl grew up in Albuquerque, NM. On April 11, 1933, Pearl married Dan Harvey Ash in Fayetteville, AR. They made their home in Catoosa before moving to Claremore in 1972. Pearl and Dan enjoyed going to church, and singing in area nursing homes.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bart Ash; grandson, Donnie Lynn Hoffman; and brother, Benny Bray.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Dan of the home; sons: Bobby Ash and wife, Donna of Tulsa, and Harvey Ash and wife, Marilyn of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Doris Figart and husband, Donald of Sperry; brothers: Tommy and Charles Bray of Eugene, OR; sisters: Ruby Hall of El Reno, and Goldie Ross of Roswell, NM; half-sister, June of Roswell, NM; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Blanche Mary Adams

Blanche Mary Adams, the daughter of Joseph and Jessie (McCormick) Wachdorf was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Chicago, IL. She was baptized as a child in the Catholic faith. A faith she embraced into her adulthood.
Blanche met her husband, Louis while working in a department store in Chicago. Their dates were spent with many hours dancing on skates at the Midway in Chicago. A popular pastime during the war days. They married in 1943.
Blanche also worked at Helicrafter as a grinder making artillery casings alongside her husband. Years later Blanche assisted Louis in his self-employed work as a photographer. This allowed them to travel to several different states as their children grew.
The mother of four children Blanche was devoted to her family. Her fun-loving nature was shared by her family and they spent their times together playing games, going on picnics, fishing, hunting, and early morning breakfasts cooked over outdoor fires. After the children were grown Blanche and Louis continued their fun activities joining a bowling league.
Later in years Blanche and Louis made their home in Lawrence, KS, where she worked at Kansas Color Press. She retired in Housekeeping at Lawrence Memorial Hospital where her giving and caring nature was able to shine.
In 1980, while visiting her daughter Laurie in Claremore, OK, Blanche attended a tent revival at Victory Tabernacle Church. With her young granddaughter Lisa praying at her side she rededicated her life to God. With friends and family looking on, her son-in-law, Bill, later baptized her at Spencer Creek.
In 1996, she made her home in Claremore. Living a year or so with her daughter, Laurie and husband, Bill. While living there she volunteered at Second Impression Resale Store, which benefits the Domestic Abuse Shelter. She enjoyed many fun times with her co-volunteers.
When her daughter Shirley moved to Claremore Blanche then relocated moving in with Shirley where she lived out the rest of her remaining days. Blanche passed gently into the Lord’s arms Thurs., April 28, 2005, at the age of 85.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Louis.
Survivors include her sons: Louis H. Adams, and Robert L. Adams and wife, Sandra all of Kansas, OK; daughters: Shirley A. Adams, and Dolores M. “Laurie” Timberman and husband, Rev. Bill Timberman all of Claremore; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Blanche Mary Adams will be 2 p.m., Tues., May 3, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Bill Timberman officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Geraldine Rae Adkins

Funeral service for Geraldine Rae Adkins will be 2:30 p.m., Wed., Dec. 29, at Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Chaplain Jim Collier officiating. A graveside service will be held at 5 p.m. at Mountain Station Cemetery, east of Hartshorne. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m., Tues., at the Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory.
Geraldine died Sat., Dec. 25, at Claremore Regional Hospital at the age of 51.
The daughter of Gerald Rae and Barbara Janette (Shepherd) High was born Oct. 30, 1953 in Seattle, WA. On Oct. 20, 1989, Geraldine married Eddie Wayne “Ed” Adkins in Yakima, WA. In 1991, they moved to Chelsea. Geraldine worked the last 7 years at the Claremore Veterans Center in the kitchen and as cook. Ed died April 21, 2001. Geraldine later married Dale Junior Rose, and he died July of this year. Geraldine enjoyed gardening, animals, and had a passion for collecting things. Most of all Geraldine had a love for people and was always there to help anyone she could.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ed Adkins and Dale Rose; her parents; and her grandmother, Clara Elizabeth High.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Bobby Rose of Tulsa; daughter, Corie Price and husband, Joe of Yakima, WA; sons: George Duncan of Walla Walla, WA, and Robert Duncan and wife, Antha of Alluwe; brother, Gerald High and wife, Leann of Onalaska, WA; sisters: Tikey Manjarezz and husband, Sam of Topinish, WA, and Cheryl McDaniel and husband, Mike of Onalaska, WA; grandchildren: Tori Price, Lyle Duncan, Ryann Duncan, Raelyn Duncan, and 2 grandchildren on the way.
Robert Eugene Shell

Robert died Wed., Dec. 8, 2004, in Pryor at the age of 40.
Robert was born June 23, 1964, in Denver, CO. In 1985, Robert married Dana Wells. They made their home in Clovis, NM, before moving to Foyil 7 years ago. Robert was a member of the Claremore Round Up Club; and enjoyed working on vehicles and listening to country music. He worked in road service and as a truck driver.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Phylis Pauline in 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Dana of the home; sons: Robert and Dustin Shell of Foyil; daughters: Claudia Morris of Melbourne, AR, and Dawn Shell of Pryor; brothers: Howell Merdith of Wyoming, and Cal Merdith of Colorado; sister, Doris Henry of Limon, CO; and 3 grandchildren.
