Funeral services for former Maud resident Opal Marie Glover are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Romulus Baptist Church.
Rev. Mike Craig and Rev. Darrell Whiten are set to officiate.
Burial is to follow at Romulus Cemetery under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home.
Glover died Monday, March 18, 2002 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 85.
She was born March 17, 1917 in the Romulus area.
She married Russell E. Glover on Nov. 3, 1937 in Lawton.
He preceded Glover in death on March 3, 1993.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Romulus Baptist Church.
Glover was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Larry Glover on Jan. 7, 1979; one grandson, Keith Glover on Dec. 16, 1988; four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Russell Glover of Macomb; one daughter, Shirley Beleu of Macomb; five grandchildren; 11 geat-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Gordon
Funeral services for Wewoka native Dorothy A. Gordon are scheduled for Friday at Faith Memorial Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Wake services are planned for 7 p.m. Thursday at Temple and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Gordon died Friday, April 19, 2002 following a short illness.
She was 69.
She was born Feb. 15, 1933 in Wewoka.
Gordon attended Wewoka Douglass High School and Oklahoma City Nursing School.
She was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church, Grand Chapter O.E.S., and numerous Masonic and community organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Gordon is survived by her children, James Washington, Gregory E. Gordon, Diane Stotts-Brown, and Denise Gordon-Thompson; one brother, Jesse L. Crawford; and her grandchildren.
Nathaniel ‘Fats’ Gordon

Gordon died Thursday, March 14, 2002 in Oklahoma City at the age of 68.
He was born Oct. 13, 1933 in the Nobletown Community in Wewoka to Henry and Denise Gordon.
In 1984, he retired from Bellnomini Ranch/Farm where he worked for 20 years.
Gordon was also employed by John Morris House Movers for 10 years.
He was a member of Ethiopia Reformed Coptic Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Gordon is survived by his wife of San Antonio, Texas; his mother of Oklahoma City; one son, Reginald Albert Gordon of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Clifton Gordon of Oklahoma City; one sister, Louise Gordon of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.
Pearl Gordon
Funeral services for longtime Wewoka resident Pearl Gordon are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Wewoka.

Gordon died Sunday, May 12 at O.U. Medical Center Presbyterian Tower at the age of 106.
She was born Jan. 20, 1896 in Houston, Miss. to Henry and Hanrietta Lyles Davis.
She had lived in Wewoka most of her life before moving to California and living there for eight years.
Gordon then moved back to Wewoka in 1958 and stayed there until 1999 when her health began to fail.
She then moved to Oklahoma City with her daughter who looked after her until her death.
She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Spring Creek Baptist Church in Wewoka.
Gordon was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Louise Gordon of Oklahoma City; one son, Clifton Gordon of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Willie Gordon
OKLAHOMA CITY – Funeral services for Willie Lee Gordon are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Earl M. Temple Memorial Chapel.

Interment is to follow at Westwood Cemetery under the direction of Temple and Sons Funeral Directors, Inc.
Gordon died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002 at the age of 75.
He was born Feb. 15, 1927 in Lima to Willie and Bertha Cartlidge Gordon.
He attended elementary school in Lima and Douglas High School in Wewoka.
Gordon enlisted in the United States Army and served in World War II.
After receiving an honorable discharge in 1946, he returned to Oklahoma and went to work at Douglass Aircraft, now known at Tinker Air Force Base.
He left Douglass Aircraft and became a laborer with the International HOD Carriers Local 612.
Gordon worked with the Local in Lost Angeles, Calif. and Oklahoma City for over 30 years.
He was a Mason and affiliated with Inspired Lodge No. 195 of Prince Hall Grand Lodge.
In September of 1952, he married Dorothy Ann Crawford Gordon of Wewoka.
Gordon is survived by his wife; his children, Patricia Gordon of Los Angeles, Calif., Joyce McDaniels of Carson, Calif., James Washington of Wewoka, Mary Louise Quinn of Aurora, Colo., Gwendolyn Diane Stotts-Brown of Plano, Texas, and Denise Gordon Thompson and Gregory Gordon, both of Oklahoma City; three brothers, R.T. Gordon of Las Vegas, Nev., Leon Gordon of Clinton, Md., and Cleveland Gordon of Long Beach, Calif.; a grandchild he raised, Gregory Garnett Gordon of Oklahoma City; 25 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbeaers are the Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church and Faith Memorial Baptist Church.
Honorary bearers are C.J. Hines, John L. Osborn, Marvin Moore, Raymond Hamilton, Cleo Murray, Booker Carter, and Willie James.
Francine Gray
The Mass of Christian Burial for Seminole native Francine Gray was held this morning at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Interment followed at Resurrection Memorial Church.
Gray died Saturday, June 8, 2002 in Oklahoma City at the age of 59.
She was born Oct. 29, 1942 in Seminole to Sylvia Beatrice and Roy Elmer Williams.
After graduating high school in Blackwell, she moved to Oklahoma City where she became a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Gray recently retired from the state health department.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
She is survived by her husband, A.C. Gray; one daughter, Terri York; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Thrasher and Kay Jones.
Services were under the direction of Smith and Kernke.
Vesta M. Gray
Graveside funeral services for former Seminole resident Vesta Mary Gray were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Michael Smith was set to officiate.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Gray died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002 at Golden Rule Nursing Center in Shawnee at the age of 97.
She was born March 11, 1904 in Shell Knob, Mo. to Samuel Z. and Armila (James) Taylor.
She married Orville E. Gray, who preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1983.
Gray worked for Douglas Aircraft in Oklahoma City and Wackers.
She was a member of the Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jack and Vernon Gray; her husband; and three brothers and three sisters.
Gray is survived by her niece, Marie "Shirley" Lejska of Shawnee; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
