Ellis Hostmyer

Funeral services for Ellis Eugene Hostmyer are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church.

Milo Steffen, Dennis Maloney and Bill Worden are all set to officiate.

Burial is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Hostmyer died Friday, April 19, 2002 at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 74.

He was born June 8, 1927 in Fairfax to Eugene Harold and Ina Marie (Pitts) Hostmyer.

He married Mary Grace Lucas on Aug. 14, 1956 at the First Christian Church in Medicine Lodge, Kans.

Hostmyer worked for Continental Oil Co. for 20 years and Pawnee Petroleum for 22 years.

He was currently employed part time for Seminole County District 2.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy En3. He was awarded the Good Conduct and National Defense Medals.

Hostmyer was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Roger Whelan of Eufaula and Randall Whelan of Seminole; one daughter, Deborah Johnson of Henryetta; one brother, Harold Hostmyer of Oklahoma City; one sister, Faye Busby of Corona, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Beatrice Hubbard

Funeral services for lifetime Lima resident Beatrice Brown Hubbard are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Rev. George Young of Holy Temple Baptist Church of Oklahoma City is set to officiate.

Burial is to follow at Lima Cemetery under the direction of Myers Mortuary.

Hubbard died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002 at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

She was born Feb. 11, 1912 to Rector and Ida Brown.

She graduated from Douglass High School in Wewoka in 1931.

Hubbard married William W. Hubbard in June of 1931.

She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Edna.

Hubbard is survived by four sons, Kenneth Hubbard of San Diego, Calif., James Hubbard of National City, Calif., Alfred Hubbard of Washington, D.C., and Ural Hubbard of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven daughters, Lois Broussard of Rockville, Md., Jean Wright of Seminole, Glynn Gantt of Wichita, Kan., Vera Jones of Temple Hills, Md., Ida Wright of Bowie, Md., and Hope Hayes and Faye Jones, both of Clinton, Md.; two brothers, Earnest and Bernard Brown, both of Ventura, Calif.; 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Franklin Hulbutta

Wake services for Franklin James Hulbutta are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tonight at Stout Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church.

Rev. Houston Tiger and Rev. Bill Barnett are set to officiate.

Interment is to follow at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.

Hulbutta died Saturday, March 23, 2002 at the age of 23 as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born April 26, 1978 in Seminole County and attended schools in Wewoka and Shawnee.

After graduating in 1997, he was attending Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech.

Hulbutta was baptized in the Indian Nation Baptist Church on June 27, 1987.

He is survived by the mother of his son, Jessica Kernell of Shawnee; his son, Anthony Tyler Hulbutta of Shawnee; his mother, Wanda Sewell of Seminole; his father and stepmother, Paul and Elaine Hulbutta of Wewoka; three brothers, Randy Hulbutta and Christopher Hulbutta, both of Seminole and Russell Hulbutta of Wewoka; four stepbrothers, Daniel Wesley of Shawnee, Fabian Samuels of Wewoka, and Chris Samuels and Dion Samuels, both of Norman; five sisters, Veronica Lopez and Sallie Wesley, both of Shawnee, Melissa Hulbutta of Big Cypress, Fla., and Crystal Hulbutta and Christina Hulbutta, both of Wewoka; and three stepsisters, Belinda Cook of Shawnee, Stacey Samuels of Wewoka, and Kelly Wade of Oklahoma City.

Pallbearers are Johnson Hulbutta, Chuck Hulbutta, Roger Hulbutta, Dennis Haynes, Dewayne Scott and Michael Scott.

Honorary pallbearers are Vincent Lopez, Roger Gibson, Bunny Powell, Wallace Scott Jr., Randy Hulbutta, Chris Hulbutta, and Russell Hulbutta.

Johnny Hulbutta

Wake services for Johnny Hulbutta were held Monday night at Stout Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services were scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church.

Rev. Houston Tiger was set to officiate.

Interment was to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Hulbutta died Sunday, May 12, 2002 at the age of 47.

He was born Jan. 29, 1955 in Casa Grande, Ariz. to Johnson and Sarah Tiger Hulbutta.

His family moved to Altus in 1960 and later moved to Wewoka in 1964.

Hulbutta attended school in Justice and graduated from Pleasant Grove.

He married Linda Tebe on March 24, 1979. They lived in Wewoka for the last 18 years.

He worked for the City of Wewoka.

Hulbutta was a past representative of the Tallahassee Band, a former Seminole Nation Council member, and Young People Chairman for Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Roman Hulbutta; and one sister, Semeria Grass.

He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Denise Hulbutta and Kristy Hulbutta of the home; two sisters, Nancy Bear of Wewoka and Nelsie Yargee of Shawnee; and four brothers, Ramsey and Paul Hulbutta, both of Wewoka, Ron Hulbutta of Seminole and Jimsey Hulbutta of Oklahoma City.

Betty Joy Iervolino

TULSA – Funeral services for Seminole native Betty Joy (Longacre) Iervolino are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.

Interment is to follow in Memorial Park Chapel under the direction of Ninde Funeral Directors.

Iervolino died Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at St. Francis Hospital at the age of 80.

She was born Aug. 18, 1921 in Seminole to Charles Calvin and Beulah (Cannon) Longacre.

She was raised in the Seminole and Shawnee area.

Iervolino graduated from Shawnee High School and received a Bachelors of Education Degree from Oklahoma State University.

She taught elementary school in the Tulsa Public Schools for 30 years.

She was a member of the Tulsa Retired Teacher’s Association, Oklahoma Education Association, and the National Education Association.

Iervolino was a member of the Baptist church.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Iervolino of Tulsa; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Maxine Dean.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Marlin Ingram

A memorial service for Marlin Perry Ingram, former owner of The Vogue and Jr. Vogue stores in Seminole is scheduled for Feb. 18.

The service is scheduled at Goldsby Baptist Church, south of Norman off I-35.

The service is under the dirction of Demuth Funeral Home.

Ingram died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002 at an Oklahoma City hospital due to surgical complications.

He was born Aug. 4, 1937 in Denison, Texas to Marlin "Pie" Ingram and Nell Roe Hickman.

He was raised by his grandparents, Ed and Girlie Ingram.

Ingram graduated from Denison High School in 1955.

After serving in the United States Air Force as Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas, he received his education from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

He coached Little League for many years and was a booster of TCU athletics.

Ingram spent 40 years in the women’s apparel business, starting at the Dad and Lad Store and Lily’s Department Store in the Denison, Texas.

He was a regional sales representative for ACT III women’s wear and was also national sales manager for Jack Winter, Inc.

He was a national sales manager for Sunny South/Jo Hardin women’s wear in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.

Ingram married Marian Owens Ingram in 1995 and they moved to Norman in 2000.

He was a member of Goldsby Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Brad Ingram.

Ingram is survived by his wife; two sons, David of Norman and Lance of Dover, N.H.; two grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Owens of Canton, Miss.; two stepsons, Dan and William Owens, both of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Rosalee Ingram, Cindy Hickman, and Lou H. Coats, all of Texas; and one brother, David Lee Koiner of Nocona, Texas.

Ruth Isaacson

HOLDENVILLE – Funeral services for Ruth Deloris Isaacson are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Hudson Funeral Home.

Rev. John Lively is set to officiate.

Burial is to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa at 2 p.m. under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.

Isaacson died Friday, April 5, 2002 at Rambling Oaks Assisted Living Center in Norman.

She was born Aug. 18, 1912 in Okmulgee.

She married Louis B. Isaacson Sr. on Jan. 24, 1930.

Isaacson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Holdenville.

Her husband owned and operated Ike’s Friendly Chevrolet and she worked at Miles Ladies Clothing Store in Wewoka.

She was preceded in death by her son, Louis B. Jr. in 1986 and her husband in 1995.

Isaacson is survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Don Maxey of Shawnee.

Bearers will be three grandsons; one great-grandson; Phillip Carter of Norman and Elton Johnson of Tahlequah.
