Tamera Loyd

Funeral services for Tamera Jo Loyd are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Mike Buckley is set to officiate.

Burial is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Loyd died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002 in Seminole at the age of 19.

She was born May 5, 1982 in Fort Smith, Ark to Jimmy E. Loyd and Terry Akins.

She graduated from Mannford High School in 2000.

Loyd also attended Central Vo-Tech in Drumright.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, Jimmy and Angie Loyd of Summerfield; her mother, Terry Akins of Kellyville; her step-father, John Brinsfield of Seminole; grandparents, Floyd and Sharon Wilson of Newalla, Jo Ann Wilson of Oklahoma City, and Dorothy Loyd of Cove, Ark.; one brother, James Akins of Kellyville; two sisters, Timber Akins of Kellyville and Shawna Loyd of Summerfield; and one stepsister, Vicky White of Summerfield.

Ina Mae Lucy

Funeral services for former Maud resident Ina Mae Francis (Willis) Lucy, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Maud.

Pastor Willard Fitzwater will officiate the services.

Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home.

Lucy died Tuesday at the Jan Francis Care Center in Ada at the age of 81.

She was born to Millard Kyle Willis and Allie (York) Willis on Feb. 21, 1921 in Sentinal.

Lucy lived in Maud from 1957 until 1963.

She then moved to Oklahoma City where she married Hiley Lucy on March 14, 1963.

Lucy lived in Oklahoma City until 1996, then moved to Ada.

She was a retired owner of a convenience store.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Odell Willis, Terry Willis, and Prentis Willis; and one grandson, Joseph Fitzwater.

She is survived by her husband, Hiley, of the home; two daughters, Brenda McKinley, Byars, and Beth Owens, Choctaw; two sons, Willard Fitzwater, Chickasha, and Cody Fitzwater, Tilly, Ark.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Twila Lueking

A wake service for Sasakwa resident Twila Lueking is scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight at the Church of the Tabernacle in Sasakwa.

Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Southwest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City with Tom Marshall officiating.

Interment is to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Lueking died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at her residence in Sasakwa at the age of 67.

She was born May 15, 1935 in Oklahoma City to Elmer and Pearl Scott Hill.

She was raised in the Moore and Oklahoma City area and graduated from Capitol Hill High School.

Lueking was a homemaker and married Raymond C. Lueking on Nov. 17, 1978 in Miami.

They lived in Kansas prior to making their home in the Sasakwa area.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Lueking is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Curtis Genzer of Ada and Kevin Genzer of Mildred, Kan.; three stepsons, Raymond Lueking, Jr. of Chanute, Kansas, Michael Lueking of Palestine, Texas, and Richard Lueking of Okinawa, Japan; two stepdaughters, Bonnie Sellmon and Janet Haberman, both of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Michael Hill of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Donna Routon of Oklahoma City, Joyce Davis of Woodland, Calif., and Merry Smith of Tomaha; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

Pallbearers are Joshua Genzer, James Routon III, Rick Cuccaro, Sean Jones, David Price and Clifford Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Genzer, Kevin Genzer, Richard Lueking, Michael Lueking, and Raymond Lueking Jr.

William Lunebring

A graveside memorial service for Cromwell resident William Gert Lunebring was scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Little Cemetery.

Rev. Carl Whitfield was set to officiate.

Services were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Lunebring died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002 in Wewoka at the age of 87.

He was born June 8, 1914 in Santa Maria, Calif. to Henrich and Mathilda (Weidemeir) Lunebring.

He married June Lunebring on Oct. 21, 2001.

Lunebring retired from McDonald-Couglas Aircraft in Lakewood, La. In 1969.

He was preceded in death by his parent and his first wife, Vergie (Swader) Lunebring in 1962.

He is survived by his wife of the home and two grandchildren.

June Lynch

Graveside services for Wewoka native June Laverne Lynch are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Yeager Cemetery.

Interment is under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.

Lynch died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at her home in Holdenville at the age of 70.

She was born to Mamie and Noel Tilley on April 17, 1932 in Wewoka.

Lynch attended Wewoka public Schools.

She married H. Joe Lynch in 1950 and moved to the Holdenville area in 1957.

Lynch worked at the Street Car Café for many years, and then worked in home health care before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Mamie; one sister, Lou Alice Tilley; and one brother, Dale Tilley.

Lynch is survived by one son, Leland Lynch, Broken Arrow; two daughters, Shelley Carter, Yeager, and Jolena Jemigen, Broken Arrow; two brothers, Jerry Tilley and John Tilley; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, one of which will be born in December.

Meleah Mack

Funeral services for Meleah Hempsey Mack, 21, are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday in her Cromwell home.

Rev. Houston Tiger and Richard Fixico will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mack-Bell family cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.

A wake service is set for 7:30 p.m. tonight at Mack’s Cromwell home.

She died March 25, 2002, in Oklahoma City.

Mack was born Nov. 26, 1980, in Claremore to Dewayne and Alice Deere Mack.

Known as "Chub" to her family and friends, Mack graduated from Butner High School in 1999.

Even through enduring her chronic illness, she enrolled and was attending Seminole State College.

A lifelong participant in Indian tradition, Mack was a member of the Fish Pond Tribal Ground and the Alligator Clan of the Seminole Nation.

She accepted Christ into her life on Feb. 21, 2002.

Survivors include her mother, Alice Deere Mack, of Cromwell; her father, Dewayne Mack, Shawnee; four brothers, TJ and Felix Mack, both of Henryetta, Kevin Mack of Wewoka, and Darrin Mack of Seminole; one sister, Josie Mack of the home; and her grandmother, Geneva Creek Wilson, Shawnee.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Camryn West; and grandparents, Frances Little Deere and James Deere.

Pall bearers include Paul Harjoche, Ernie McPerryman, Glen Mann Jr., Preston Little, Alvin Wilson, Andy Butler and Cookie Carbitcher.

Honorary pallbearers include Phillip Yargee, Andy Alexander, Roman Hill, Ferron Culley, Dan Simmers, Oscar Waiters and the Fish Pond Tribal Ground men.

Roy Madkins

Funeral services for Roy Clarence Madkins are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Stout Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. C.R. Cochran is set to officiate.

Interment is to follow at Westwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Madkins died Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the age of 77.

He was born in Wewoka on Dec. 15, 1924 to Henry and Lucy Walker Madkins.

He lived in the Wewoka area almost his entire life and graduated from Nobletown School.

Madkins married Lillian Johnson of Wewoka in 1947.

After serving in the United States Marines they lived in Nebraska and California prior to returning to Oklahoma where he employed as an aircraft mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement.

Following his first wife’s death, he married Myrthanna Hill on Sept. 21, 1988.

He is survived by his wife of the home; eight daughters, Lydia Johnson of Tulsa, Margaret Jordan of Arlington, Va., Shirley Simpkins, Pearlie Madkins, and Carol Madkins, all of Alexandria, Va., Linda Mack of Seminole, Henryetta Madkins-Wilson of Carrollton, Texas and Debra Madkins of Burtonsville, Md.; five sons, Clarence Madkins of Burtonsville, Md., Harold Madkins of Phoenix, Ariz., Leonard Madkins of Los Angeles, Calif., Michael Madkins of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Alex Madkins of Del City; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Kemp of Oklahoma City and Lori Ann Warriors of Shawnee; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, China Davis of Wewoka.

Madkins was preceded in death by his parents and all of his brothers and all but one sister, Raymond, Fountaine, Earl, Albert, Fred, Sadie, Ruth, Irma, Frances, and Margaret.

Pallbearers are Alex Madkins, Clarence Madkins, Bryce Wilson, Louis Kemp, Christopher Wilson, Michael Madkins, Tommy Wilson, and Gary Davis.

Honorary pallbearers are Harold Madkins, Leon Mack, Clint Sullinger, Lincoln Perry, Leonard Madkins, Clyde Spencer, Oscar Gray and Franklin Gray.
