Funeral services for Louis McDaniel are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pentecostal Church at 8th and Echo in Holdenville.
Pastor Claude Graham is set to officiate.
Burial is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
McDaniel died Tuesday, May 14, 2002 in Wewoka at the age of 82.
He was born June 24, 1919 in Sherman, Texas to Lou and Pearl Smith McDaniel.
He was raised in Lamar and attended school there.
On Oct. 29, 1941, McDaniel married Louis Lorene Anglin in Lawton.
They made their home in Holdenville and raised three children, Saundra, Carolyn, and Eddie.
He was a long time church member and served as an Elder Deacon at the Holdenville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
McDaniel worked as a custodian for Wewoka Public Schools after his retirement from truck driving.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eddie McDaniel in 1985; seven brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Saundra Calvert and Carolyn Trimble, both of Wewoka; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Bill McDaniel and Luther McDaniel, both of Durant; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Joe McGirt Sr.
Funeral services for Wewoka resident for 2 p.m. Monday at the Hitchitee United Methodist Church in Wewoka.
Revs. Houston Tiger and Abe Jackson will officiate, and a flag service will be performed by the Seminole Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans.
Interment will follow at the Hitchitee United Methodist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Wake service will commence tonight at 7 p.m.
McGirt died Thursday, June 20, 2002 at Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 60.
He was born to Nathan McGertt and Winnie Harjo on Sept. 10, 1941 in Seminole County.
McGirt was raised in Seminole County and he moved to California where he attended schools and graduated.
He married Norma Barber, she precedes him in death.
McGirt then married Wynema Davis on Sept. 10, 1981, she also preceded him in death in July, 1993.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.
McGirt was a mechanic and retired from Sonny’s Automotive of Tulsa in 1987, and returned to the Wewoka area in 1993.
He was a member of the Wewoka Indian Methodist Church in Yeager.
McGirt was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenneth McGertt, Sebert "Sonny" Harjo, and Mose Lee Harjo; one son, Russell Noon; and two infant grandchildren, Brittny Denise Harjo, and Ashton James Harjo.
He is survived by two sons, Joe McGirt, Jr., Tecumseh, and David McGirt, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Brenda Smith, Oklahoma City; five brothers, Gary "Joe Sam" Harjo, Larry Brown, Holdenville, Jimmy McGertt, Okemah, Charlie McGertt, Poteau, and Louis McGertt, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Rose Deer and India McGertt, both of Okemah; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Lewis Harjo Jr., Willie Chupco, Sam Starr, Anthony Factor, Ray Herrera, and Harlen Moses.
Honorary pallbearers are Vincent J. (V.J.) Harjo, and Leonard Hulbutta Factor.
Sherry McKane
A memorial service for Sherry McKane is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Hudson-Phillips Chapel.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Chapel.
McKane died Tuesday, May 28, 2002 in Oklahoma City at the age of 58.
She was born July 13, 1943 in Holdenville to Melvin and Pauline Messinger Avery.
She was raised in Holdenville and graduated from Holdenville High School.
McKane lived in various locations but returned to Holdenville 15 years ago.
She worked for the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services in Seminole as a caseworker for Child Welfare and retired with 17 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Avery and Pauline Messinger.
McKane is survived by one daughter, Brandy Drew of Tulsa; one son, Mark McKane of Bentonville, Ark.; one brother, David Messinger of Holdenville; and four grandchildren.
Ray McKee
Graveside funeral services for Ray Charley McKee are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Little Cemetery.
Rev. Tim Emmons is set to officiate.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
McKee died Friday, July 26, 2002 at his home in Prague at the age of 91.
He moved to Prague from Oklahoma City 31 years ago.
He was born Jan. 17, 1911 in Seminole County to Wally Charley and Ollie (Qualls).
McKee married Joyce on Dec. 2, 1983 in Shawnee.
He was a bricklayer most of his life. He was also a farmer and a cattleman.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Prague.
McKee was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers; one son; one daughter; one stepson; and one granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife of the home; seven sons, R.C. McKee of Prague, Johnny McKee of Moore, Donald McKee and Larry McKee, both of Oklahoma City, Michael McKee and Jimmie McKee, both of Tuttle, and Joseph McKee of the home; one daughter, Susie McKee of Mustang; stepchildren, Donna Johns, Janet Garrard, and Wesley Choate, all of Oklahoma City, and Laketha Dees of Shawnee; four sisters, Nora Bell Orr of Okemah, Edith Durham of San Angelo, Texas, Mary McBroom of Bythe, Calif, and Gertie Peters of Woodland; four brothers, George McKee and Herschel McKee, both of Prague, Al McKee of Oklahoma City, and David McKee of Idaho; 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Mae D. McMichael
Funeral services for former longtime Seminole resident Mae D. McMichael were scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in the historic old Strothers Chapel at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Burial was slated to follow in the same cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
McMichael died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, in Chesapeake, Va., at the age of 96.
She was born May 8, 1906, in Fairbury, Ill., to Loren Lee and Rachel Ann (Kring) Smith.
She married Kenneth Fulkerson McMichael on Aug. 24, 1938, in Chandler. He died in March, 1988.
She was a homemaker and of the Episcopalian faith. She established a ceramic club, the Dobie Dabbers of Baton Rouge, La. She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Anson and her husband Joe Anson Jr. of Chesapeake, Va., and Judy Beavers, Ruston, La.; one sister, Faye Burton of Seminole; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson, Michael Jones, Jonathan Anson, Jeffrey Jones, Rachel Anson Allen and Julia Anson; and two great-grandchildren, Justin and Colby Johnson.
Charles McNeill
Graveside services for Seminole resident Charles Edward McNeill are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Little Cemetery.
Services will be under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

McNeill died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 72.
He was born to Cleve Henry McNeill and Della Rachel (Sanders) McNeill on June 30, 1930 in Calico, Ark.
McNeill married Beverly (VanMeer) on Sept. 16, 1974 in Seminole.
He was a lifelong Seminole resident and was self-employed with an Auto Garage and as an Oilfield pumper.
McNeill was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, of the home; five sons, Charles McNeill, Brimington, Wash., Gilbert Lee McNeill, Shawnee, Vince A. McNeill, Seminole, Jimmy McNeill, Wewoka, and James McNeill, Wetumka; one step-daughter, Betty Shannon, Chandler; one sister, Flora Deathage, Wilburton; and several grandchildren.
Judy (Sauter) McQuown
Funeral services for Judy Frances (Sauter) McQuown are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Konawa.

McQuown died Friday, May 17, 2002 at her home in Konawa at the age of 50.
She was born March 21, 1952 in Flasher, N.D. to Edwin and Frances (Blair) Sauter.
She married Joseph Clare McQuown on Oct. 21, 1988 in Golden, Colo.
McQuown was a homemaker and a member of First Bapist Church of Konawa.
She was also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Cutting Horse Association, and Reining Horse Association.
She is survived by her mother of Casper, Wyo,; her husband of the home; two sons, James Marty of the home and Michael McQuown of Ft. Collins, Colo.; one daughter, Jeannie Mahoney of Ft. Collins, Colo.; four brothers, Jerry Denton of Tenn., Ed Sauter of Soth Dakota, Jack Sauter of North Dakota, and Chris Sauter of Wyoming; and four grandchildren.
