Funeral services for Pearl Hawthorne are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Holdenville.
Rev. Mike Booth is set to officiate.
Interment is to follow at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Rhoton died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002 in Norman at the age of 85.
She was born Jan. 29, 1917 in the Hickory Grove Community near Holdenville to W.C. and Caldonia (Evans) Hawthorne.
She was raised in the Holdenville area and attended school there.
Rhoton graduated in Holdenville and later attended Higbee Business College.
She married Gus R. Rhoton on Dec. 6, 1936 in Holdenville.
She worked as a billing clerk for Oklahoma Electric COOP for many years and later worked for the City of Norman when she retired.
Rhoton was a member of First Baptist Church in Wewoka and was active in church work.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clarence Hawthorne; three sisters, Sally Hawthorne, Lela Davis, and Eva Horne; and one grandson, Mark Steven Corbitt.
She is survived by her husband of the home; one son, Jerry R. Rhoton of Norman; one daughter, Caldonia "Donia" Corbitt of Moore; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Willie Ann Clawson of Gainesville, Texas.
Mildred Richards
Graveside funeral services for former Wewoka resident Mildred (Jolly) Richards are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery.
Rev. Bob Winslow is set to officiate.
Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Richards died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002 in a Midwest City nursing home at the age of 94.
She was born aug. 29, 1908 in Alderson to W.D. and Maude (Wilkins) Jolly.
She married Dan W. Richards on April 4, 1926 and they established their home in Wewoka.
Richards was preceded in death by her husband on March 20, 1944.
She moved to Midwest City in 1950 and worked for Tinker Air force Base until her retirement in 1973.
She was a member of the Wickline Methodist Church on Midwest City for 50 years.
Richards was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and her daughter, Barbara Harriman, who died on Nov. 30.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Turner of Del City; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and eight great-grandchildren.
Hershel Ring Sr.
SHAWNEE – Funeral services for Seminole native Hershel Q. Ring Sr. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.
Mack Peercy is set to officiate.
Burial is to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.
Ring died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002 at Unity Health Center North at the age of 61.
He was born Dec. 11, 1940 in Seminole to Truman and Lenora (Dotson) Ring.
He attended Seminole Schools.
Ring was the owner and operator of H.Q. Ring Trucking and had lived in and around Shawnee since 1967.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother of Shawnee; three daughters, Teresa Hasbell and Starla Burns of Bowlegs, and Angel O’Brien of Meeker; three sons, Hershel Ring Jr., Todd Ring, and Travis Ring, all of Shawnee; 11 grandchildren; and four sisters, Phyllis Bennett of Harrah, Nora Grandstaff of Seminole, Pat Smith of Bowlegs, and Carole Blair of Eureka Springs, Ark.
Brandi Rivera
Graveside funeral services for Brandi Rose Rivera, the infant granddaughter of Seminole residents, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Little Cemetery.
Chris Stinnett is set to officiate.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rivera died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002 at her home in Lewisville, Texas at the age of seven months.
She was born June 21, 2002 in Denton, Texas to Franco Salvador and Dava Rose (McKinney) Rivera.
She is survived by her parents of the home; grandfather, Ignacio Rivera of Mexico; great-grandfathers, David H. McKinney and C.B. "Red’ Conner, both of Seminole; and four brothers, Eric Rivera and Shareif, Ashraf, and Shaddy Darweesh, all of Lewisville, Texas.
Leon Robbins
SHAWNEE – Funeral services for Seminole native Leon Harrison Robbins were held Saturday at the Oak Park Church of God.
Rev. Leroy Kerbo officiated.
Burial followed in Little Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Home.
Robbins died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002 at a nursing home at the age of 81.
He was born Dec. 9, 1920 in Seminole to Albert Dewight and Ola Mary (Fennell) Robbins.
He worked for R.C. Cola as a distributor until 1965.
Robbins then worked for the City of Shawnee from 1965 to 1982.
He married Mary Aline (Thoma) on March 23, 1960 in Maud.
He was a member of the Oak Park Church of God for 28 years. He also volunteered for Action handing out commodities.
Robbins had been a Shawnee resident for 42 years.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Jackie Robbins of Tecumseh and Lester Robbins of Asher; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Earley, Raymond, Roy, J.C., and Earmond Robbins; and one sister, Magg Page.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Shawnee, 1102 W. MacArthur, Shawnee, OK, 74801.
Violet D. Robbins
Funeral services for Violet D. Robbins are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Harvey Road Baptist Church.
Rev. Ron Sheppard is set to officiate.
Burial is to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Home.
The body was in state at Swearingen Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
It will also be in state from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday.
Robbins died Thursday, May 23, 2002 in Chickasha at the age of 82.
She was born Feb. 10, 1920 in Seminole to William P. and Mary Floy (Smyth) Drewry.
She retired from Western Electric.
Floy married Raymond Robbins on March 5, 1939 in Seminole.
She was a member of Harvey Road Baptist Church. She attended the Seminole Senior Citizen Heritage House for 20 years.
She lived most of her life in Seminole.
Robbins is survived by two daughters, Barbara Pennybaker of Norman and Joan Bagby of Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Raymond Robbins Jr. of Seminole and Gary Robbins of Chickasha; three brothers, Otis Drewry of Pioneer, Calif., Jay Drewry of Lafayette, Calif., and Brice Drewry of Bakersfield, Calif.; four sisters, Alma Thorsen of Chickasha, Mary Smith of Sallisaw, and Lorene Chandler and Louise Smith, both of Seminole; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Carl and Hoot Drewry.
Pallbearers are Daniel Pennybaker, Jerry Pennybaker, Robert Pennybaker, Justin Robbins, Rocky Robbins, and Craig Robbins.
Honorary pallbearers are Sean Brackett, George Holman, and Alex Miller.
The family has requested memorials be sent to the Heritage House at 210 West College in Seminole.
T. Lorene Roberts
Funeral services for T. Lorene Roberts are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial is to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Roberts died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002 at Integris Baptist Medical Center at the age of 72.
She lived most of her life in Seminole.
She was born Sept. 18, 1929 to Clyde john and Bertha Irene (Davis) Randles.
Roberts was a retired nurse’s aide from Pioneer Nursing Home.
She was a member of Praise Assembly of God Church in Little and the Tracy Rebekah Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandchild, Victoria Grace.
Roberts is survived by one son, Dwight C. Roberts of Seminole; one daughter, Belinda Gibson of Seminole; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Randles of Seminole; and one sister, Virginia Dobbs of Waco, Texas.
